Every one of these chicken chains is uniquely different and this one wasn't so bad. The chicken was pretty good however the wait was not so cool. We ordered the 10 piece chicken combo that came with biscuits, and a large side of mashed potatoes. They needed some time to prepare the chicken breast pieces because the last few customers ordered the last of them. And the employees in the kitchen didn't seem like they were too motivated to get the chicken prepared. It was less than ten minutes which wasn't a huge deal, but there wasn't much for us to do while we waited. The inside of the restaurant was clean, but since we we're ordering to go we felt a little strange taking up space at a table. This location has $5 deals so I got a 2pc chicken and side doesn't come with a drink which is 2.99 or something and you get a Taco Bell cup . I liked this place because the service was immediate, the decor and ambiance was colorful, different than others , cleaned and a unique style inside. It was your regular original recipe chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and a biscuit. Nothing to write home about. The decor is what drew me in honestly . Today is a lazy day no voting, so I decided something quick and wholesome would do. I decided the KFC in Kingstown chicken pot pie is usually a good choice. Today hunky not so much and this is not the first of such review. Can you say dry, cold, unappealing, careless and management must be crap to allow such food to be served to the public. They need to really step it up and improve or shut the location down. The inside was in much need if attention and won't even talk about dirty bathrooms, its like the entire place need a overhaul and under new management, so many out here just to collect a check and not attentive or aware of what they serve the public. Service is somewhat slow they focus more on drive thru inside service is slow. Have been a few times every time I've been there someone is complaining about their order being wrong. So far haven't had that experience yet! I think the reason service is bad is all the workers are young and always on their phones. Ambiance nothing special. Kentucky Fried Chicken is based out of Louisville, KY, and they're famous for the Original Recipe that was thought up by Colonel Sanders. The menu offers chicken (buckets), chicken tenders, popcorn nuggets, sandwiches, sides (mashed potatoes, cole slaw, mac & cheese, wedges, etc.), 'Classics' (the Famous Bowl and the Pot Pie), and combinations/$5 deals. I'm so surprised at such low reviews of this KFC location! I've been here a few times for their drive-thru as well as their carry-out, and the service has been pretty friendly. I'm a fan of their Kentucky Grilled Chicken (the wings!), as it has a nice grilled taste and always juicy; their Hot Wings are also nice and crispy, and great with KFC's hot sauce (remember to get it fresh off the fryer and get tons of the hot sauce packets!); with their sides, I've always enjoyed their creamy refreshing cole slaw (can eat buckets of these) as well as their creamy mashed potatoes & gravy :D I recently tried their Pot Pie $5 meal, which came with a chocolate chip cookie and a medium-sized drink - the Pot Pie had a nice flaky buttery crust, and filled with dark and white chicken chunks, potatoes, peas, and carrots, all in a nice creamy sauce - it was piping hot and it was pretty alright (maybe it could have more of the filling, though)! Came here after my worxout to get some grilled chicken. I had to wait 20 minutes for them to cook it. They offered me the original instead so I wouldn't have to wait, but I just had a good workout and didn't want it to all go to waste. I was going to do the drive through but the line was long. I ordered: -grilled chicken is juicy (I put fire taco sauce on it to add more spice) -beans are of course canned and I just couldn't finish them -coleslaw is the best -biscuit is fluffy and good and I only ate half of it Overall, courteous staff and easy ordering. I used to visit this KFC location quite frequently. Frequently enough that several of the staff knew my regular order. On several occasions my order was ready just as I finished ordering. I took advantage of the survey offer on the receipt many, many times. For taking the survey I received a code for a free GoCup. On 2 separate occasions, using 2 different codes, from 2 different receipts, I was told the codes were invalid. The staff would not honor the free GoCup offer either time. I contacted KFC customer service about the "invalid" codes on 3 separate occasions spanning several weeks. All 3 times I was asked for my email address, phone #, and home address. 4-5 weeks have passed and I have not been contacted by anyone by phone, email, or snail mail. Today I visited this location for the 1st time in about 7-8 weeks. Apparently since my last visit KFC has several new items on their menu. The 1st is "chicken slivers". The 2nd is "mini biscuits". See photos. I will be taking their survey once again. Hopefully, they honor their code this time. She checked to make sure they had them. Its 7pm. How do would you not have them. Prime time. Keep up your stock. She did have them. Pulled them from the oven and put them in a box. Then went about taking other orders and someone was supposedly making two burritos. Seemed too long of time when I went up to ask. Stood there for minute or two and then I was noticed by another worker and asked if if was 55. She told me no crispy wings. I said she already checked and pulled them referring to cashier. Cashier then said they were given to another customer. So someone else ordered exactly 5 wings? She said she could give me other chicken. Didn't want. I asked what the wait was and she said 15 minutes for new chicken. And then they get a rush crowd of 10+ customers. Ordered my meal at 7:04. Finally got it at 7:34. 30 minutes for fast food. Wow. Just really crappy service. Had a few other bad experiences, but this was the worst. If not for it being only close KFC/Taco Bell, I'd give up, but I like their chicken wings and burrito supreme's. Drive thru line was short and not only did I get the wrong sides, I didn't get the chicken pieces I wanted (drums). I bite into the chicken, its way undercooked in the center. First time I walked in, waited like 15 minutes and got the incorrect order (did not check my bad!), second time went through the drive thru, requested the Georgia meal. Got 2 tiny pieces and two pickles ehhh not what they advertised and it was awful... I think that this KFC is alright because the employees are generally friendly. However, if you order carry out, please make sure that you check to make sure that your meal is correct before you leave the store so that you do not get the wrong order. Sometimes the Original Recipe Chicken is too salty, they need to make sure that it is not too salty. Also, they need to make sure that the coleslaw does not have too much liquid in it, and that there are available napkins in the dispensers. Overall, despite these small flaws, the friendliness of the employees makes the purchase experience better. read more

Food is ok, quality is as expected for fast food. The biggest issue i have is the fact they get your order wrong 50% of the time. Please do yourself a favor and check your order before you leave. I'm giving this KFC 2 stars because the cashier, Jiro doesn't understand the menu. I asked for the $20 fill up but Jiro asked me what sides do I want. I stated that I wanted the sides that it came with, mashed potatoes & cole slaw. Not paying attention when I received the food, when I got home I only had one mashed potatoes & the cole slaw along with 8 pieces & 4 biscuits. This KFC has pretty good food, for a KFC at least. I like the grilled chicken and the Mashed Potatoes, but they are pretty heavy and if you're on a diet, I would suggest not to go here. At first, the service was pretty good and the people were nice, but then it started to go downhill. One time we ordered an 8 piece meal with half grilled chicken and half regular chicken. We got home to discover that there was no grilled chicken at all. There was only 4 pieces of regular chicken. Now, everything else was fine and we had enough food, but we certainly didn't have any leftovers like we thought we would and I didn't really enjoy the fried chicken, just because that's not what I'm into. Then there was also another time where we got everything we wanted in the meal, plus the extra chicken that they gave us for our first time, except the gravy. Now, this clearly isn't as big of a deal as the chicken, and we didn't waste any money, but it still sucks. read more
