They were unable to diagnose or repair the issue in-house and subsequently sent the vehicle to the nearest dealership. At the time, I was expected to work near Detroit, which became impossible due to the breakdown. I was provided a loaner vehicle--a Chevy Impala with worn tires during winter conditions--despite the possibility that I could be required to drive several hours on short notice. For several days, I received no updates regarding the status or location of my vehicle. After initiating multiple follow-ups, I was repeatedly told, "I don't know," until I escalated the issue to management. Matt, the manager, was professional and communicative and ultimately confirmed where the vehicle had been sent. I had a safe in the trunk of my vehicle containing valuable items. Unfortunately, I was unable to retrieve them because I was unaware of the vehicle's whereabouts. To avoid further delays, I personally contacted the dealership and received clear information within minutes--something Blue Knob had been unable to provide after multiple days. By that point, the condition of the loaner vehicle required new tires for basic safety during a 5-6 hour drive. Once my vehicle was finally repaired, I was still required to wait for Blue Knob to retrieve it before I could do the same. During my visit to the service center, I overheard staff making disrespectful remarks regarding my request for safe tires on the loaner vehicle, among other comments. I was also informed that I should not have contacted the dealership directly and instead should have waited 3-5 business days for updates through Blue Knob. While Blue Knob presents itself as highly corporate and professional, internal communication and customer treatment do not reflect those standards. Clients should be aware that concerns regarding safety and timely communication may be met with dismissal rather than support.

Overall, working with Altoona Honda was a great experience and they definitely exceeded my…read moreexpectations in regards to price, service, and quality. There is no doubt that if I had to buy another car I would come to Altoona Honda first. This was the first time I bought a used car out-of-state and Altoona made the process very simple and painless. Eric helped answer all of my questions via e-mail and was quick and thorough with his responses. We were able to work out a fair price - which was much lower than surrounding dealerships - with minimal additional fees tacked on. When I went to purchase the car, Zach helped with this process and was a pleasure to work with. He was able to answer any additional questions I had. He also kept in touch after the sale to make sure I was happy with the purchase. I was able to secure financing through the dealership that came in at a better rate than what I was pre-approved for by my credit union (excellent credit). It was obvious to see that Altoona is a dealership with integrity and ensures customer satisfaction before, during, and after the sale. There was 1 slight hold up with getting the car registered in my state due to titling issues; however, when I notified the dealership of this they quickly fixed the situation and it only caused a slight delay. Things can happen but the fact that Altoona was so responsive even after I already bought the car from them showed how much they value their customers.

It was a great experience and everyone was very helpful thank you Altoona Honda for this great dealread more

! BUYERS BEWARE ! THEY FAKE THEIR OWN REVIEWS! I want to make it clear, the management here uses…read morescare tactics to get you to remove your HONEST review! I would strongly recommend avoiding Blaise Alexander in Altoona if you're shopping for a vehicle. I purchased a car from them, and the very next day it started throwing multiple codes. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they've fought me every step of the way. After I left an honest Google review about my experience, I received a phone call asking me to remove it, with promises that they would "make things right." That never happened. In fact, things only got worse from there. While shopping for the vehicle, I had mentioned that I was interested in possibly working at a dealership someday. After they saw my negative review, they suddenly called me in for what I believed was a job interview. It quickly became obvious it was not a real interview at all -- it felt more like an attempt to intimidate or scold me over my review. Very little was discussed about employment, and most of the conversation focused on my complaints and online review. Using scare tactics against a customer over a review feels extremely sketchy and unprofessional. To make matters worse, when they told me to bring the car in for service, they admitted they had no Kia knowledge, no Kia diagnostic tools, and no proper equipment to even work on the vehicle. So why have me drop the car off in the first place? They ended up sending me across the road to Kia instead. Honestly, I'd recommend the Kia dealership over Blaise Alexander any day. The entire experience has felt shady from start to finish. When I expressed frustration over buying a vehicle that immediately had issues, I was met with attitude and backtalk instead of customer service. Damien, the salesperson who sold me the car, actually cussed at me multiple times on the sales floor in front of managers -- and it's all on camera. During the sale, he constantly talked badly about his own managers and dealership, saying things like "these guys know nothing" and telling me not to accept certain offers. At the time I thought he was being honest with me, but once problems started happening with the car, the entire attitude changed. They repeatedly threw it in my face that they "lost money" on the sale and acted like that somehow excused refusing to help me. That is not my problem as a customer. If you sell reliable vehicles, situations like this don't happen. I spent a large amount of money on a vehicle and expected basic reliability and customer service. Instead, I was treated like a problem for speaking up about legitimate concerns. Buyers beware -- this dealership does not stand behind the vehicles they sell, and in my experience, they use intimidation tactics when customers speak out. At this point someone higher than the local branch management needs to reach out to me! They also fake reviews BEWARE!!

This car was hands down one of the best choices I've made. Between the pacing cruise control and the lane assist-the car can practically drive itself. The process was easy as I had prior financing done through PSECU and the check in hand. If you would love a new car, go visit Matthew Wombacher at Fiore Toyota in Hollidaysburg. You too, can stand outside in 20 degree weather and say "would you look at this" to every feature he shows you. It's the best time you'll ever have adulting. His personality made the process even easier. I changed my mind multiple times and he didn't lose his patience once with my countless questions. I've still messaged him periodically, and he responds quickly and efficiently with answers. This man deserves a raise/promotion for how well he treats his customers.
