I booked an appointment with Dana. She was so sweet and listened to all of my concerns. It was honestly not painful at all! She did a dermal block for numbing and after that I didn't feel anything! We also added in some filler in my chin for facial balancing. We did not end up using all of the filler so we saved it and I scheduled a two week follow up appointment. At that next appointment we did add a tiny bit of filler but I didn't need much. The filler has made such a natural but noticeable improvement to my face shape. I did not have much of an upper lip before and the filler looks soo natural! I could not be more grateful! They are transparent about pricing and they do have monthly specials. I went to Koniver Aesthetics for AviClear laser treatments. I had been suffering from acne for over a decade and I was told this would "cure it", or I would get my money back. I was also informed that it would take up to a year to see the results. After a year my skin was still terrible. At this time I was told by Koniver Aesthetics that it could NOW possibly take a year and a half. Obviously this was upsetting, but I waited. Around 18 months after the procedures my skin seemed to be worse than ever. I was livid. I reached out to their team and I was simply told there was nothing that could be done. I wanted to get on social media and write bad reviews for the establishment everywhere I could possibly find. Though, I was so depressed I didn't even have the motivation to do that. So why am I speaking out now? Well, I was wrong when I initially thought my skin was worse than ever. I spent thousands of dollars and waited 2 years to see results. I found this spa that offers this service. I called them because they had a 50% off coolsculpting special for that month. Bri is the one who does the coolsculpting. She's the sweetest lady. She asked me where all I was concerned about. I told her I wanted my lower belly fat gone, and the fat under my butt to be less so my butt would stick out more. She said that the "banana roll" is what they call the under the butt fat, and mine is muscular. No need to coolsculpt there, she said. I did sign up for coolsculpting my lower belly fat tho. Best decision I've made this decade. My lower belly fat is significantly less fat looking than it used to be. I'm 200 pounds, but my belly looks like it did when I was 140 pounds. I highly recommend this service. While coolsculpting, I decided I wanted to talk to someone about my acne scars. Bri brought in Amanda, who recommended microneedling for my old acne scars. I'm here for my second round of microneedling today. It hurts a little, kind of similar to getting waxed in that it hurts for a little while but has great benefits that outweigh the pain. It feels like a deep exfoliation. She uses a pen looking thing to stab me a bunch of times with a bunch of little microneedles! She numbs my skin prior to the treatment. The hardest part is not wearing makeup for 2-3 days after microneedling. I have already seen a reduction in my wrinkles. I hope to see more of a reduction in my acne scars after this session. Amanda said sometimes it takes two sessions to see results. I paid for 3 up front. You get a deal by paying for your sessions all at once instead of one at a time. This place has a lovely atmosphere. I went in for lip filler with Dr. Nicole and it was a nightmare. I have pretty full lips so I just…read morewanted a little bit of hydration. I had went to a different practice three years prior (out of state) and received half a syringe of filler and left with minimal bruising and swelling. After Dr. Nicole filled my lips I left extremely bruised and swollen. The procedure felt very aggressive and rushed like many other appointments I have had with her. When going back in to the office to express my concern about the lumps, she explained to me that this is very rare and I could have an underlying autoimmune issue going on. After getting hundreds of dollars worth of blood work done to come back all within normal range I again went back in to dr. Nicole to have some of the lumps dissolved. During this appointment she asked her assistant to fill a syringe with hyaluronidase (a substance to dissolve filler) to which she luckily caught her assistant filling the syringe with Daxxify (tox). I can't imagine what would have happened if she didn't catch this mistake. She then explained to me she couldn't feel anymore lumps and to come back in a few weeks for a check. In the mean time I did a lot of research of some of the best injectors in the Charleston area (which I should have done a long time ago) and found an amazing injector. She did an ultrasound on my lips and found multiple lumps remaining and explained I may need to see a plastic surgeon to have them removed. I explained my concerns to Dr. Nicole and requested my money back for the lip filler in which she wanted me to come in. I refused because honestly I lost trust in her. Please do your research and don't go for the best deal when picking your injectors.
