On another occasion, the new self-service ATMs had just been installed and a bank representative walked me through how to use it. 1 star deduction for parking. Chase should have its own parking lot. Even the staff notes that many customers are often concerned about tickets. Other than that, I prefer this location to the one on Amity Rd.

It's why I've never needed to make a change to any other banking institution.. In the past two weeks, they've begun using high technology to eliminate the need to fill out deposit/withdrawal/transfer slips. One tells the clerk what you want to do, and how much, and they have a palm print reader to substitute for your signature. Pretty cool!

Once I was home, Chase refused to refund me what the phone had charged me. Baggage also got lost for 3 days in Ireland. Once home, I filed all the paperwork that was asked, but then Chase refused that, requiring another form proving I got my baggage back. Which had been a rushed signed paper by the guy who dropped off my baggage, so I was never given a copy. I have cancelled my Chase sapphire credit card. If you are looking to just use it to avoid foreign trasaction fees, go for it. But do not expect the "benefits" to actually be honored.

I find that the happy faces have disappeared somewhat. Overall, Webster bank is a great bank and takes care of all of my financial needs. I can count on them to help me when I need it or do not understand something. I live on the Cheshire side of Hamden and frequent the Cheshire bank most of the time. A Very nice bank. I had a little trouble with the ATM at the Whitney Ave office but that was taken care of. The service at this bank is 100 times better than any other bank I have had to do business with including Sovereign Bank and Bank of America.

They have helped me with identity theft by overseas scammers, upgrading my checking account, halting fraudulent transactions, identifying CD rates and so much more.
