Everyone had a great time and Maria helped make sure we picked the right events and setup reservation blocks for all our events, and then made sure the events we sponsored went flawlessly. The casual "Find the best KeyLime Pie contest" prompted a lot of fun facebook posting and the discovery of many different pies and a few top vote-getters! Maria spent time upfront to learn what kind of experience we wanted, and demonstrated a lot of experience on the island -- and through a series of emails and phone calls planned a series of activities. Ultimately, I didn't need to worry about anything when we got there! Lots of guests asked who helped plan this and said they will use We've Got The Keys for their next event in the Keys. Maria also helped bring in a fantastic photographer that captured our party from all angles. We came from quite a distance and so did many of our guests (Portland OR, Austin/Houston TX, Hershey/Harrisburg PA, Greensboro NC, Louisville, KY). I contacted We've Got the Keys through their website several weeks ago, inquiring about setting up a time to discuss planning my Jan 2015 wedding. I got a quick email response from Jennifer asking for more information from me, saying they had my date available, etc... I replied to that email and then never heard back. A few days later I emailed again. And never heard back. A few days after that I called the office, on a Thursday, to try to set up an appointment to talk the next week. I was told that Jennifer was out with a client and had a busy weekend but would call me back on Monday. I was surprised that someone trying to gain my business wouldn't take the time to make a quick call or send an email to set up an appt but I figured I could wait until Monday. It is now a week later and I still haven't heard from anyone. Very disappointing. They may be very good at planning weddings but unfortunately, because of their poor communication & customer service, I will never know.

We ordered the Hawaiian Paradise package for $3,000 with a ceremony at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park's R2 location. This particular location had an extra fee of $500, but it was absolutely worth it. This location is a beautiful swath of beach, gorgeous rocks, tropical foliage, and the beach faces the sunset perfectly. It is STUNNING, especially when the sun is setting. I couldn't have imagined a more romantic place to be married! They managed the difficult steps of the ceremony setup and breakdown, ensuring that all the vendors arrived on time, and I didn't have to worry about a thing! They handled the arbor, decorations, flowers, chairs, chair decorations, officiant, musician, photography, wedding cake, a beautiful sign made by a local artist, a ginger ale toast, transportation to and from the ceremony, and more. It seemed like an endless list, and they managed everything perfectly! The florals were absolutely exquisite! Say Yes had Karro Florals provide the flowers, and they were the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen in my life! I was so worried they wouldn't be premium flowers, but WOW, they were stunning! They included so many floral arrangements, and draped the flowers and beautiful fabrics over a gorgeous bamboo canopy on the beach. It was SO PRETTY! They had the cake delivered directly to our reception at the Rooftop Cafe, and it tasted so amazing, everyone loved it! We ordered a two-tier cake so we could keep the top for our anniversary. Say Yes handled all the details and served as the middle man for all my requests, and throughout every stage of the planning, they never made me feel bad for being particular about something or trying to save money. When I contacted Kelly Fowler, she was already booked for my wedding date but said that her assistant, Leslie, was available. During the planning phase, I communicated regularly with both Kelly and Leslie. They were happy to answer all of my questions and provided honest feedback on vendor options. Despite giving birth only 1 month before my event, Kelly remained engaged in all communication and all meetings (live and over the phone). Essentially, I had two coordinators for the price of one! My wedding was at the Audubon House where there is no back-up for rain (they do not even allow tents or sails on the property). When there was a 40% chance of rain and storms on my wedding day, I was pretty stressed out and too busy to figure out a back-up plan. Leslie and Kelly took responsibility for finding a back-up venue and found two great locations. They scheduled time with the venues and took us to visit both so that we could decide which property was preferable to us. They reviewed all of my contracts and helped me to decide on the best back-up plan. They completely took all of the stress away by coming up with a back-up plan that was almost as amazing as my original plan! Leslie and Kelly both assisted with the wedding rehearsal. Leslie brought another assistant to the actual wedding. On the wedding day, Leslie took care of EVERYTHING. I never once received a call from a vendor who did not know where to be or what to do. Leslie completely shielded me from everything! Although the florist and the vintage furniture vendor were providing almost all of the décor, I brought several things that I gave to Leslie (menus, signage, escort cards, gifts, vendor payments etc.) and she took care of everything. Leslie was at my venue the entire day for vendor set-up and stayed there for the entire ceremony. She checked in with us several times to make sure we could hear music, the food/drink service was good etc. The skies did open up and dump rain for a few minutes during dinner. As the rain came down, Leslie kept us calm and handled the situation with grace. While the whole process with Great Events from start to finish was a positive experience, the flawless wedding day execution is what I am most grateful for. I literally had zero stress on my wedding day! Both Leslie and Kelly are professional, experienced and well connected with the vendors. You will spend a lot of time with these gals, sharing your dreams/fears/ideas/plans etc. and then they are with you every moment on one of the most significant days of your life. It is great to have a planner/coordinator that you consider a friend, someone you might want to be there even if they weren't working for you.

Not Recommended -- Lack of Respect and Professionalism…read more I cannot recommend this tour company based on the way this tour operator treated people, particularly an older adult. Regardless of the situation, people working in the tourism industry should understand the importance of being courteous, patient, and respectful toward their guests. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The tour operator was extremely rude and gave what I felt was a completely inappropriate and disrespectful response to a senior citizen. When he received a response in return, his behavior escalated. He became aggressive and appeared ready to get off the bus and confront the person physically. Thankfully, someone younger stepped in and advised him not to get off the bus before the situation could escalate further. What is most disappointing is that this entire situation could have been avoided with something as simple as, "No," or "No, ma'am." There was absolutely no reason for the interaction to become confrontational. Tourism is about hospitality, and respect should be extended to everyone--especially senior citizens. A tour operator represents not only themselves but the company and the destination they are serving. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this tour company.
