It's very convenient to have a restaurant available onsite. We've had the chicken nachos, yuca fries, breakfast buffet, shrimp and grits, and pina coladas during our stay. No beer on draft right now but that may change once renovations are complete. Yuca fries were very good, the chicken nachos are solid (we've had them twice, once for dinner and once for a late night snack, kitchen does close at 9 PM). Service has been great, prompt, and friendly. If you're staying at the hotel and need a quick bite before or after a long day, or while lounging by the pool they should have you covered.

Best of all, I wasn't staying at this hotel and I got to dine and swim here. Definitely check into this hotel if your planning a vacation, especially because the beach is across the way.

My friend and I were eating at the restaurant in front of the hotel. Thankfully, I was greeted with cordial demeanor and given guided instructions on how to locate the restroom. The exterior of the hotel was restored, but appeared how it was years ago. Apparently, this hotel was the hot spot for celebrities back in the way back. So cool! No old mildew smell permeanting the lodging/museum. The restroom, however, wasn't something of expectations as it was completely renovated to be modern of today's standards. I was hoping to see light fixtures, sink, and toilet from the 1800's, disappointingly not. I learned quickly that was the only restroom nearby covering the attractions nearby so people frequently came and go with long lines. The restroom had an unpleasant odor of waste which was disgusting. I'm glad I had a proper shirt to cover my nose while my mouth was closed too. Overall, pretty cool hotel in a cute color too.

The property is absolutely lovely, peaceful, and is just a "vibe" once you enter. You are greeted by such warm, friendly people, and as you walk to your room, you are surrounded by unparalleled, peaceful beauty. This was our 2nd stay, and they were both magnificent. The rooms are thoughtfully curated with beautiful local art, and lots nice touches. We were there for our anniversary and were greeted with a bottle of champagne, glasses, and a sweet card - what a nice surprise! There is a gratis, made to order breakfast that is such a great way to start the day and an awesome bonus for guests. The pool area is amazing...it's very clean and well maintained, as is the entire property. We LOVE watching the tortoises in their habitat, and watching the birds is quite nice as well! If you want to escape to a tranquil, beautiful, and truly special place - I cannot recommend this jewel enough!!!!

Whether it was Annette or Jorge taking care of us, it was always excellent, and of course having a afternoon cocktail with Dr Philgood was a great way to relax poolside. Special note to Lucy and the Tortoises for some great wildlife viewing while strolling the property with a glass of wine. We will definitely be returning, but not soon enough. Highly recommended for couples to enjoy a serene and safe environment with all of the comforts of home.

But I told myself to not act in impulse and continue walking down the street. I couldn't get my mind off how awesome the chicken sculpture was all night so we made our way back to the store at the end of the night and took Gabe home with us :) I am so pleased with my purchase, and I'd say it was reasonable for a must have item $62. They are able to take the chicken tale off, because it clips right back into the sculpture and bubble wrap and cardboard up the whole thing so we could safely take it back home with us on the plane. I love this chicken, it's a priceless memory of our Florida trip. Gabe is so quality and cute and brings me joy everyday when I see him in our home.

Snorkeling with Fury, Kayak Tours with Lazy Dog, Scavenger Hunt, Birthday Party & Dinner at the Conch Republic right in the middle of the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, finishing on a sunset cruise with Fury. Everyone had a great time and Maria helped make sure we picked the right events and setup reservation blocks for all our events, and then made sure the events we sponsored went flawlessly. The casual "Find the best KeyLime Pie contest" prompted a lot of fun facebook posting and the discovery of many different pies and a few top vote-getters! Maria spent time upfront to learn what kind of experience we wanted, and demonstrated a lot of experience on the island -- and through a series of emails and phone calls planned a series of activities. Ultimately, I didn't need to worry about anything when we got there! Lots of guests asked who helped plan this and said they will use We've Got The Keys for their next event in the Keys. Maria also helped bring in a fantastic photographer that captured our party from all angles. We came from quite a distance and so did many of our guests (Portland OR, Austin/Houston TX, Hershey/Harrisburg PA, Greensboro NC, Louisville, KY). Everyone enjoyed how the plan included both organized time and a lot of free play.

I contacted We've Got the Keys through their website several weeks ago, inquiring about setting up a time to discuss planning my Jan 2015 wedding. I got a quick email response from Jennifer asking for more information from me, saying they had my date available, etc... I replied to that email and then never heard back. A few days later I emailed again. And never heard back. A few days after that I called the office, on a Thursday, to try to set up an appointment to talk the next week. I was told that Jennifer was out with a client and had a busy weekend but would call me back on Monday. I was surprised that someone trying to gain my business wouldn't take the time to make a quick call or send an email to set up an appt but I figured I could wait until Monday. It is now a week later and I still haven't heard from anyone. Very disappointing. They may be very good at planning weddings but unfortunately, because of their poor communication & customer service, I will never know.
