Disappointing Experience and Poor Time Management…read more I was really disappointed with my experience today. I called two days in advance to schedule an appointment for Wednesday at 10 AM. When I arrived, both nail technicians were working with other clients. I completely understand that appointments can run behind, so I patiently waited. After about 15 minutes, one technician finished with her client, acknowledged that I was waiting, and told me it would be another 10 minutes. Instead, she proceeded to give another woman a manicure while sitting at the pedicure station. That additional 10-minute wait turned into approximately 20 minutes. When she finally came over to begin my appointment, she was interrupted again to help the other technician and then spent time responding to appointment-related text messages on her phone, all while I was still sitting there waiting. At this point, my appointment was already running about 45 minutes behind schedule. The salon appeared to be understaffed, and I understand how stressful that can be. However, this situation could have been avoided with a simple phone call letting me know they were running behind and asking if I could come in at 11 instead. I made an appointment for a reason. My time is valuable, just like everyone else's, and I felt that it wasn't respected today. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

She was able to…read moreaccommodate a 90 minute session for me and a 60 minute session for my husband for the following Saturday here on Key West!! She arrived at our house exactly as scheduled, with plenty of time for her to set up. To say she is wonderful is an understatement! She worked on my problem areas with a combination of deep tissue, stretching and targeted pressure. My husband suffered an achilles injury a few years ago, and despite surgery and PT, has never fully recovered. Her massage did wonders for him! She clearly has a deep understanding of anatomy, explains what she is doing, and is just an overall nice person. The convenience of not having to leave your home is just icing on the cake! Her rates are extremely reasonable too! When I booked with her, there were no reviews, so I took a chance and I'm so glad I did. Book now, as once word gets out, I fear it won't be so easy to get an appointment with her!!

Jen Fox is simply the best!…read more I first heard about Jen Fox in 2022 from a neighbor who raved about her work at Prana Spa in Key West, and it turned out to be one of the best tips I've ever received. I've been seeing her monthly ever since. Jen is simply extraordinary at what she does. Her skill, attention to detail, and genuine care for her clients set her apart from anyone else I've ever seen. What really tells the story? I was at a hair salon in Summerland Key -- about 25 miles north of Key West -- and overheard a woman recommending Jen to another salon guest. That kind of word-of-mouth reputation, spreading organically all the way up the Keys, says everything about Jen and her services! When Prana Spa closed, I followed Jen to her new location. She has built a loyal following of clients who will go out of their way to be in her chair, and for very good reason. If you're in Key West and looking for an aesthetician who is truly exceptional at her craft, go see Jen Fox. You'll leave relaxed and with glowing skin!
