The service call by Liam was terrific. I called the answering service at 9:30 pm and he called me within 20 minutes. He explained that he already had 3 service calls to perform that night which would take him past midnight to perform and that he would not be able to get to my call until the next morning, which was a Saturday. At 11 am he was at my condo, took care of the problem within 20 minutes and scheduled me for my next maintenance visit 6 months from now. I can only recommend Key to cool if you are looking for a trustworthy and reliable air conditioning company My air conditioning suddenly stopped working. The thermostat was dead. A technician came and found that the wire from the thermostat to the outside unit was defective. I guess some of my neighbors already had this problem. So 2 options, new wires or a thermostat that communicates with the outside unit via Bluetooth (didn't know there was such a thing) since new wires are very expensive if you have one of the middle units in a condo building, I decided on the thermostat, a not quite cheap thing we are talking about almost 1.5k but the AC has to run. The head of the company, Kevin, came to install it - but, he wanted to test other alternatives before installing such an expensive device. He spent hours looking for ways and also found another much cheaper way. He worked overtime several times just because of me, as I was a bit pressed for time. I have rarely met such a friendly and competent person who puts the customer first motto. Other companies would certainly have installed the expensive thermostat straight away to make more sales, but Kevin is not like that. I can only say that the day I found this company about 8 years ago was one of my lucky days! Many thanks to Kevin and his whole team, always friendly, even when I called several times. read more

Highly recommend. Kevin, owner, is hands on; he came out to evaluate our needs (new a/c unit) and move handler (I think that's what it's called) from inside attic to garage. A couple weeks ago my 4-ton compressor servicing the main house gave up the ghost. I had a local AC company come out for a service call, and the diagnosis was a bad solenoid (not so bad), and leaking refrigerant (very bad). Needless to say it was time for an upgrade, given that my system was over 10 years old, single-stage energy suck. I requested quotes from three local Trane Authorized dealers. Each one sent out their "Comfort Specialists", took a look at the components; both inside and outside, and provided quotes for the exact same system (at my request). All three quotes were comparable in price for the system (Trane XV18) including installation; everything soup to nuts. Why did I go with Key to Cool? Key to Cool was the third, and last, dealer I requested a quote. Owner Kevin was the "Comfort Specialist" who came to my home to inspect the system and provide the quote. Kevin got all up in my attic and inspected the ducts and junctions; something the other two prospects did not do. He explained that my main return duct was a bit too small for the size of my system and the square footage of my house. He also pointed out and explained a few other issues with the initial installation of my aged, now defunct AC system. The Key to Cool quote; for the exact same system quoted from the other two dealers, came in at the lowest upfront cost. All three quotes were within $1500 between the highest and lowest price for the complete system. I'm not saying anything derogatory about the other two dealers; I'm sure each one would have provided an excellent experience to the customer. They are all highly rated here on Yelp, and they are all local Naples companies. So, I called Kevin, I requested we throw in an additional vent in the kitchen pantry, the the full-on duct cleaning of all the ducts in the house; both systems. That added a few more dollars on the final cost, but it was still much less than the highest cost quote, and only a few hundred more than the next lowest quote (neither of which included the pantry vent and whole-house duct cleaning). Luckily, it had been relatively cool the past week and a half that my AC was out of service. I signed the agreement with Key to Cool on Friday morning, and the team of installers were here at my house on Monday. System was installed and operational by Close of Business Monday afternoon. I could go on about the excellent team of installers, but my tome above here should give you a clue about their level of professionalism and dedication to doing a job well done. I hired this company to inspect my one year old HVAC system. They called me and said my unit was 15 years old and had bad coils and needed to be replaced. They never inspected the unit as i only had a partially clogged drain line. They are either unethical or incompetent or both. Stay away. read more

After 3 + calls for same issue in less than a year and a puzzling water leak at times. Kevin the owner came out and took a look. He didn't really see anything major to cause it and made some recommendations for filter placement. He did measure to get a floor pan and a second shut off switch placed in the next few weeks so I won't have to worry about flood or floor damage which is a huge concern for me.
