I have had storage units at all the major places (Cube Smart, Public Storage, Storage Center). This week I needed to place some things in storage and hoped to find one close to my residence (River Ridge). I found this one even though it is a little hard to find. I was helped by Jarad. I have to say he provided the best service I have ever had from a property manager. He was very efficient, but also kind and worked to meet my needs. Have had two storage units with these people. One outdoor and one indoor. Had rodent problems with both. Rats ate up all my belongings in my outdoor unit when I was away in the military. Lost 1/2 of my belongings for that unit due to the rodents destroying furniture. Got an indoor unit later on even though they are more costly thinking that it would solve that problem and still have been finding dead rodents in my unit. When I got the indoor unit they gave me one price and they wait until you are moved in to unexpectedly go up on that price they initially gave you. When you question it with them, they say well we sent you out a notice. Now they starting with all these ridiculous fees. You get a $20 late fee if you are a couple days late. I get that and I pay it when it happens. Now they are starting adding on another fee on top of that late that they are calling a "lein preparation fee." Which is a money making thing it seems like because like I mentioned, they already charge you a late fee. When I started with them years ago, what I agreed to was if I was more than 30 days late then I agree to have my items sold off to auction. Never agreed to this new process. Most storage units operate with the 30 days late and I've have storage units at many other places when I was in the military. I've never been more than 30 days. Some months I pay two months in a row and I didn't realize that it was due. I work nights and I have my phone on silent during the day. They sent me a letter saying they were going to sell off my items after 10 days and charged an extra $50 on top of my unit rent. No wonder why these people have tons of empty units and can't keep people in their units. I'm done with them. I've been with them for years and I don't bother no one. I hardly go to my unit. My unit is not worth the cost anymore especially when they keep going up. My parents store their huge RV at another place for less money than I pay for this tiny unit. Think they are deleting reviews on here because I made a review mentioning their rodent problems years ago and now that review is gone and they only have 7 reviews when they had tons before. read more

cur site manager is extremely rude and unprofessional! She charged my card today that was on set up on automaticpayment without permission and hung up one as well ! i have had unit at this location a year and this lady Chanel is by far the rudest unprofessional person I have come in contact with ! I am disputing the unauthorized charge she made to my deb card and will not do business with y'all again ! read more

Ms. Sue is a really and I mean really great person and she's a true meaning on how to treat customers. I would recommend key storage because not only does Ms. Sue rocks but she is the true definition of hospitality and her personality goes above and beyond.
