The main room is large with a high ceiling, but there's also a side room fit for groups and a covered patio when the weather cools down a bit. You can choose from thin-crust or thick-crust pizza. I ordered a thick crust pepperoni, but they brought me thin crust. I ate it anyway, and they brought me a thick crust pepperoni to take home! Excellent service recovery!!! My son grabbed a meat lovers (Otis) pizza, and he really liked it. We also got the cheese bread sticks, which I highly recommend. Lost Pizza also had several local and national beers on tap and in their cooler. I wasn't sure which IPA I wanted, so they let me try them both. I recommend the Traffic over the Crowd Control.

Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful, great customer service. I got a small sausage and mushroom thin crust to go. As I waited I took that opportunity to look around a take a few pics. They were pretty busy so my expectations were high. I don't review regular pizza places the same as a Chicago or NYC pie, that wouldn't be fair. We all know the crust makes the pizza and I didn't appreciate this crust so much. It had a strange texture and taste. I couldn't put my finger on it almost like play dough. Maybe because I got a thin crust. I would definitely revisit this place to try something else on the menu. I hope I just caught them on an off day.

However, I truly enjoyed the time we spent in Tupelo and Vanelli's. Everyone we ran in to, both staff and customers, was friendly. It was a Friday night so Vanelli's was busy but we were able to be seated right away and the kitchen was working hard to get everyone's orders out. We got an order of cheese bread and 4 individual pizzas which were WAAAYYYY too much food and then I realized they aren't really "individuals" they are like 12 inches or something. They don't skimp on the toppings and they make a good crust which holds up to those toppings very well. Definitely planning to come back and spend more time in Tupelo and have dinner here again.
