Stopped for gas, a bathroom break and lunch. Men's bathroom toilet seat was broken, no tissue, no…read morepaper towels and dirty. Deli lady was very helpful and pleasant. I ordered a 3 piece (2 legs and 1 thigh snack) and a 5 piece chicken tenders meal with potatoes. Went to cashier who seemed pleasant enough but seemed to be mentally and emotionally challenged. She told the deli lady that she did not have enough info on the boxes to ring up my order. One box had "3 piece chkn snack" written on it. The other had "5 tender meal" on it. The cashier insisted to the deli lady that she would get in bad trouble if she did not ring up the chicken pieces individually. She seemed to fear having to discuss this issue with her boss. The deli lady mentioned to the cashier that she had a "snack button" on her register. The cashier rang me up and the total for 5 TENDERS 2LEGS AND A THIGH was $18. When I questioned the cashier, she told me "prices had gone up." I asked for the manager and was told the manager was not there. I asked several times for the manager's name and a way to contact them. The cashier finally told me that the manager was sick, told me a first name (Janet?) and told me she had no way to get in touch with her boss (which, if true, indicates managerial incompetence, insurance/liability/risk management issues in addition to the poor hiring/training skills). I will not be back and will post this complaint with BBB. Circle K franchise management should also be told about their flag on this disgusting store that is representing them.
