I felt defeated because I had less than a week to find a more reliable vehicle because my job was going to require me to travel more and more and my current ride was not going to cut it. My Aunt had bought a new/used car from Red Cedar a few years back when she had been in a similar situation as myself and loved the people and her new car. With a little bit of hope of finding a car in time for my new job I came to Red Cedar and fell in love with a 2017 Black Ford Fusion and test drove it for 20 minutes before deciding that car was the one. The two people I had dealt with were very helpful and understanding and super nice! The only issue I have had with my car since purchasing it in August was a tube that had to be replaced behind the engine but Red Cedar got me and appointment at Ford, replaced the tube and gave me a rental while my car had been in the shop at no cost. I've recommended this place to everyone I know who has been looking for cars since I bought mine here.

"Oh that is just from it sitting for so long" So I had it for maybe 2.5 weeks, no title yet and still a temp plate. Stuff started to go wrong and ended up being a bad radiator cap, water pump. Which explains that puddle under the car. Previous owners apparently knew about these problems either before or after. She acknowledge it by helping pay for the repairs(only reason I have changed it to a 2 star). Said she would not ignore me and leave my family hanging. What happened to your word? Had it for another week when it started to mis-fire. Ended up being spark plugs, which were original, as in never been changed spark plugs. Got ghosted big time. Had it for less than a week when it misfired again, hoping its just coil packs this time. I emailed quite a few times and no response whatsoever. All I ever wanted was an answer as to whether there would be more help with repairs. Even a sorry I have helped as much as I could and cannot do anymore would have sufficed. There was nothing. How much did they know about the problems before it was sold to me? I have emails stating the previous owners knew about the either current situation or the issues the car had before seliing it to me. This car has spent more time in the shop than on the road. My 2002 Ford f150 has been more reliable than the car I purchased and the f150 had been sitting for well over 10yrs! Back to square one of not trusting car dealerships.

My daughter's car was towed in for an evaluation and I got a call from Rod the co-owner of RMB. Not only did he tell me what he thought was wrong with the car , but he said it in a way I could understand it, and quoted me a great price! I am an educated, professional woman, but I know nothing about cars and I am sick of auto repair places that tell you something that you can't understand and get condescending when you ask them to explain (" it's OK little lady I'll take care of it")....and dealers are cost prohibitive. When I told Rod I appreciated the fact that he explained everything in plain English that I could understand, he informed me that his wife Maria (the other half of RMB) was responsible for that. Maria made him call back a client and explain after she overheard him on the phone with the woman. Thank you Maria.
