I paid for 12 30 minutes sessions and was beyond disappointed, to the point I paid and didn't attend my last session. Carolina was my trainer and we did the same exact work out every time. She didn't push me, didn't motivate me, and all in all the workouts were things of common sense. You would think you hire a trainer mainly for the push, but it was not given. I saw NO results. Also, my 30 minutes were not respected. She would be training 2 of us at a time at times, and I paid more to have an individual session. Felt as though I wasn't her priority at all during my sessions, she seemed to be distracted a lot. She was nice but don't thing training is her forte. Also, not many machines & often there were women nearly naked rehearsing for body building shows.

It was relieving to not see people taking multiple sets of dumbbells and going off into a corner for 30 minutes or people sitting on machines and texting the whole time like at many other gyms. The contrast cold & hot plunge pools are great for recovery. The infrared sauna could be much hotter. I'd suggest putting full sized towels at the entrance to that area in addition to or instead of at the entrance of the locker rooms. My only two gripes with this gym is that every day of the 5 days I came it was way too warm and humid inside even though it was only 75 outside (felt hotter inside - not comfortable), and the music was pumping way too loud so much that I couldn't hear my own music on the treadmills. O and also at least 3 of the ~10 treadmills wobbled like crazy. Overall I'd recommend this gym for the mid 20s to early 50s fit-oriented clientele who likes to be around like minded people. I liked how many choices they had stocked for energy drinks, protein, drinks, and protein bars, and how organized it was. The cleaning crew was continually cleaning and kept the floors so clean that I didn't even feel weird walking around the locker rooms barefoot which I can't remember ever doing. Also the gym is in a great spot to walk over for lunch at some decent restaurants at the Coconut Grove walk / pier or whatever it's called. And the parking was very good each of the 5 days I went. I was able to quickly find even free spots. Shout out to one of the workers Elder for going above and beyond with courteous service and filling me in on happening things to do around town during my visit.

I had called ahead to make sure they were open at my odd hours and they opened the place for me. I paid a modest daily fee and I was in easily. The staff is super friendly and the equipment was nearly all first rate. (Suggest buying Fringe weights and bumpers - I love those!) being able to see the bay through the giant open bay doors is a unique experience and the running surfaces and power lifting area made me realize that a lot of elite athletes train here. All in all, I was really happy with the entire experience and would recommend this place to anyone.

The gym is clean, they provide clorox wipes and never ran out, people actually rerack their weights, and its not super packed like other gyms ( aka EOS) . Bathrooms are always clean, there is enough parking, sometimes you would have to be a little more patient if you go on peak times but even then you will still find parking and available machines. They have a coffee/ smoothie shop inside, facility is big, their boxing classes are super fun and they are pet friendly. Honestly im so glad I found this place!

The scary type of gym people who don't know any better imagine, Except, there was nothing scary about it. Familiar faces, classical Equipment and the knowledge that you were gonna leave better than when you came. Miami Iron Gym takes me back to that. It's a place where grunting is allowed so long as you retail your weights. There's no link alarm and no texting. You don't workout, you train. No wannaBe drill sergeants shouting Etsy quotes at you while they film themselves. It's beautiful: people lifting. Imagine that. I was in town and didn't want to skip Leg day so I paid the drop in fee and spoke to Mr Juan at the front desk who was great. I made very sure to get my moneys worth in their variety of machines. This place is no frills and looks like the place you go to see some genuine changes in your mind and body.
