The dentist also extracted a second tooth that she said needed a root canal and asked if she should extract. I was in such pain and agreed which probably was a mistake. Then I went to the manager and she set up a follow-up periodontal treatment plan with an appointment. A couple days later I had to return because I was in even worse pain and my gum had become infected. The dentist prescribed pain killers and antibiotic. I called back and cancelled my periodontal treatment. Later, I found my credit card was charged for the periodontal treatment -- I had earlier had a problem with another dentist like that and insurance said, first of all, they need to submit the bill to them first and if the patient owes anything, then submit a bill to the patient. I called back and complained and they said they would refund me. About a month later I got a check in the mail. So, that was what I thought would be the end of my relation with Aspen Dental -- thank God. However, last month, more than a year after my experience, I started getting texts, saying I owed them money but didn't explain why. I ignored it at first because I had submitted my insurance and thought I was all paid up. But the texts continued so today I called and they said they refunded me twice. I knew I got the check in the mail, so how could that be? It turned out they also refunded my credit card. I rechecked and sure enough I did get a credit. Now, I'm not sure what to do about this. They made all these mistakes: 1. I got an infection 2. They charged for a procedure I didn't receive 3. They charged before submitting the bill to my insurance as is the appropriate procedure 4. They mistakenly sent two refunds 5. They text me more than a year later saying I owe them money without telling me why All I can say, if you're looking for a new dentist, go to Moorehead Dentistry, which is just up the road over by the Walmart in Lebanon.

My wife went in for her appointment, and from the moment she entered the lobby until she left the building, she felt everything mentioned in all the post reviews. She was forced into dental plans and/or coverages...and was not able to be seen until the finances were in order. This is after a long conversation about whether our insurance covered what we were asking to get done. I have never seen her so rattled. Worst experience ever!! I should have read the reviews before putting my lovely wife through that!!

I was referred to Dr. Haas' office, and I haven't been happier. The WalMart dentist told me I needed a crown, and it would cost about $600-700 after insurance. I arrived at my appointment with Dr. Haas, and he asked, "Who told you you needed a crown?" An hour later, I had my new filling (covered under my dental plan) and my mouth was as good as new. A very amiable office staff, talented health care professionals, and I enjoyed the "hometown" feeling I had lost when the last dentist headed into retirement. They retrieved all my records for me, entered all the insurance information in for me, and saw me early enough in the morning, I was able to make it to work on time, without having to use sick hours. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their family dentistry!

Dr. Cassidy was strongly recommended for my mother's tooth extraction by our dentist (who we trust implicitly) but seemed irritated or impatient with my mom's ALZ and anxiety. I understand that those behaviors are challenging and upsetting for some people but it has me in tears thinking of his interaction with her at the consult and on the day of the extraction. He was cold, brusque, and talked over the top of my mother as she was speaking. One of my mother's behaviors is repeating herself or asking the same question again and again. This was not received well by the doctor, and his tone made that clear. When he showed this behavior at the consult, I chalked it up to a busy or not great day for him. To see it again yesterday was heartbreaking. I wish more than ever that I could have been permitted to be with her during the procedure. How did he behave with her when I wasn't in the room? The staff were all extremely kind and pleasant, including a word of compassion from the staff member who wheeled my mom to the car. I felt compelled to share my impressions and perception of our family's experience.

Thankfully, Dr. Cassidy took my concerns very seriously and got me through the surgery with absolutely no noticeable stress to my jaw. The entire staff here was very knowledgeable and professional. All of my appointments ran on time. Though Dr. Cassidy and his associate run three separate offices in the area, this did not impact his availability. You can schedule your surgery in a different location from your consult if it works into your schedule better. Dr. Cassidy even called me to see how I was doing the evening after my surgery. He and his staff take good care of you.

I can only recommend to ask a lot of questions and do your own due diligence as for insurance coverage etc.. you know take some personal accountability. When you solely rely 100% on everyone else something will go wrong eventually. Recently went for a cleaning and needed a cavity filled. When I questioned it, I was told we'd be charged a cancellation fee if we didn't go through with it. So we were stuck -- no warning, no options, and no transparency. This is completely unacceptable. We trusted them to coordinate care responsibly, and they failed. If you go here, double-check everything they schedule for you. Clearly, they don't feel obligated to disclose important cost or insurance information ahead of time.
