First dentist that has not insisted on having my perfectly fine wisdom teeth pulled. Great cleaning and friendly staff.

I have such bad experiences with the dentist I had been going to,…read moreblisters in my mouth from the upper denture which has just been relined. The dentist told me after several adjustments they would have to be relined again, as he had adjusted too much, and they were to loose. I was A little upset, and he told me "If I wasn't happy I could go somewhere else". every appointment I had with him he was not very friendly, actually sometimes rude. When he told me I could go somewhere else. I checked other superior dentists Reviews, which I didn't when I went to that dentist, which was a big mistake. I was impressed with Midwest dental reviews, I called to make an appointment the lady said they had no openings. I explained that my mouth was sore and causing a lot of discomfort, she said if you come in tomorrow we can squeeze you in. I was greeted with friendly smiles from the staff, the door was open for me and my walker. I was seen by Dr. Michelangelo David Aust. he listened to me, was very pleasant and professional as well as the staff. A very pleasant clean facility. after four appointments of receiving kind caring professional care, I firmly recommend Midwest dentistry. Carol Bettelli

Was put off and told specifically that it had been "well over a year since films and fluoride done" (for 2 kids) and new office would just need that info. Turns out insurance would not cover as it had actually only been 8 months. I called Midwest Dental's office and spoke to HEIDI (billing? office manager?) And she was astonishingly rude. I just wanted to verify dates and services of last appt. and inform them I had been given incorrect information. She immediately escalated the situation by asking in a nasty tone if I was "just calling to vent" and "what do you think you're going to get out of this phone call"! How about verification of dates and services and an apology would be nice! I wasn't asking them to pay the bill. You can't leave their office without them prying your wallet out of your purse, so I knew that wasn't going to happen. Seriously, you have to meet with someone in billing after your appt. before you can leave their office. EVERY TIME! So think twice before making an appointment with them, there are much better options in Superior.

I Google searched dentists that provide discounts for patients that do not have dental insurance…read more This business came up and I called to make an appt for my 77 year old mother. They were accepting new patients and could get her in within a few days. The day of the 8 am appt, I walked my mother in and spoke to the staff. I asked what an exam costs. They told me a comprehensive exam is $85. I told them to call me first if the cost was egregiously more than that and I left to run two errands. By 8:40am, they were calling for me to pick her up. I walked in and they handed me a bill for $422. Said they did a "limited" exam and put a filling in. I asked what the limited exam consisted of. Staff couldn't tell me. I asked about the filling as the price was egregious and the staff just told me all she could see was that the doctor spent time on the filling and that she needed more work. She continued to not provide me answers to my questions yet kept pushing for me to make my mother another appt. No thanks. I left there feeling that my mother was taken advantage of. I came onto Yelp to complain and couldn't even find the business. I went back out to the Google search and emailed the doctor. I specifically expressed my concerns and notes that most doctors and dentists at the VERY least provide a discount for paying with cash. I asked him to contact me and make things right. I started receiving phone calls but not from him. From another staff member that expressed that she understood my frustration and that we should have gotten a call about the charges since they were egregious. Ha! Too late.. anyhow, I had done some calling around to compare prices and there wasn't one dentist that charged even $200 for a filling. Never got a call from the dentist. They never even offered her a cash discount. Although I appreciated that someone called me, it was not for resolution at all. We will not be back. I will also not recommend this establishment to anyone.
