The dentist told me after several adjustments they would have to be relined again, as he had adjusted too much, and they were to loose. Though it was on file, they somehow could not figure out verification so I ended up not going in for the appointment. So, this was a little irritating especially since everything was fine last time. They evidently are sticklers for the insurance card in hand and it would have been nice to been informed of that. I have forgotten medical insurance cards in the past or had outdated cards but in all cases I have received the service with the medical office figuring out the current policy numbers, etc. The service I received the first appointment was fine and nothing negative to say about it. Just didn't appreciate the inflexibility at the desk. Didn't feel like they cared that they were turning me away, so to that I say 'see ya'.

From the start of the call, the woman I spoke with had a rude and dismissive tone. When I asked if they were accepting new patients, she immediately focused on insurance and stated that they don't accept many plans and that many are out of network. When I shared our insurance information, she told me I needed to check with my insurance company. I explained that my husband had already confirmed they are in-network, but her tone became even more rude after that. She asked what we were looking for, and I explained that I'm currently having tooth pain and that we were also looking to establish routine care for my husband and daughter starting with cleanings. Throughout the conversation, she acted irritated and uninterested, as if she didn't want to be on the phone. She eventually stated that they are not scheduling new patients until August or September. Considering it is currently January, being told that cleanings and establishing care would be 7 months out was surprising. While availability is one thing, the lack of professionalism and poor communication made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, the interaction made it feel like new patients are not welcome. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one was not a good one.

My biggest complaint is that plus the fact that the practice seems to be focused on that and making money. They have stopped their relationship with Delta Dental so that they could make more money and that has made it less affordable for those using their services with that insurance. I recently went to get my teeth cleaned after they stopped being a DD provider and was charged nearly $400 for my care. I was told by my hygenist that I would get reimbursed with a possible loss of about $30. I only was reimbursed about $120 of that $400.

It was as pleasant an experience as possible for me. I had a many appointments to get all the work done. Dr. Olson and his staff were aware of my phobia. He and his staff were kind, accommodating, warm and friendly. They treated me with kid gloves, exactly what I needed. I'm grateful to them. They also worked with me financially.
