I has a crown that needed replacing even though it was fairly new. It replaced a 40 year gold crown that never gave me trouble. since the replacement I didn't eat on that side of my mouth. Dr Kohler said it needed to be replaced. It was ugly, black at the gum. Monday Dr Kohler replaced my crown, made it in office!! Wow it's great!! I can eat on that side now!!!! Amazing!!! I would recommend him for any needed work. To top it off he called me the next day!! Great experience all around!!! read more

All the more reason to acknowledge when you find a truly skilled and amazing dental professional. Kevin Kohler is that guy. Dr. Kohler's level of professionalism, efficiency, and quality of work are phenomenal. Hands that were made for surgery. Takes pride in his work. Excellent chair-side manner. Explains everything in detail, friendly, and makes sure you're comfortable and things are as painless as possible. Very practical about recommendations and listens to what you have to say and what your preferences are. Top notch in every aspect you would want in a dentist. The rest of the practice? Just as good. Front desk personnel like Mandy and Sierra are great at conversation, take care of the estimates, appointments, and payments efficiently, and are always super friendly and flexible. Hygienists and assistants have all been terrific. Every one of them. This place runs like a well-oiled machine. I've had most every type of work done here from cleanings, to fillings, to crowns, to implants and this is the best practice I've ever been to. Always really impressed with the work because it's always flawless. I wish I was one of those folks that had the genetics and lifetime personal discipline for perfect teeth. I'm not. He was able to see me quickly and rectify the situation. I appreciate that he lets you know what he's going to do before he does it, so there's no surprise when his hands are already in your mouth. When Dr. Thompson retired, Dr Kohler took over the business. It's hard to switch dentists so I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. My favorite hygienist was there so I knew my cleaning would be good. I noticed changes right away with exams. There was a constant need to xrays every time I visited no matter what it was for. Then suddenly everyone in my family needed deep cleaning. Then my mom needed major dental work and when he was done her mouth and smile looked nothing like before. We mentioned it and he made excuses. She now has a bad overbite and needless to say she is going to another dentist. He said or did something to my husband that he said he'd never step into that office again even though he loved the hygienist. I was willing to stay but then when a replacement filling turned into a 3/4 veneer I started questioning things. His prices jumped dramatically. I asked him about this and he said it was because they didn't take our insurance anymore. Then I had to have a crown replace. That is when I noticed a lot of issues. My bite was off and I was hitting teeth. My speech and eating changed. I went back in (after a delay with COVID) and the first thing he wanted was an X-ray. I explained that the teeth were hitting. But instead of accepting that his 3D printing machine wasn't perfect he said there was other issues. After much insistence and almost walking out, he tried to adjust the tooth to fit. He was unable to. Fast forward a few months and suddenly my veneer came off. Bad design and constant hitting from the bite being off. Needless to say I won't be returning. When I called to get my X-rays forwarded, which they only forwarded old ones from before his work, they tried to have me come in saying he guaranteed his work. When I said no thank you, they then threatened me that my insurance wouldn't pay to fix it because it was only 3 years old and they will only cover if over 5 years. I kindly told her that I don't care what it cost, I will not be returning. I'm not writing this to be mean. I'm writing this so that people are aware of possible issues and maybe Dr Kohler will go for some additional training to learn more about teeth and the bite. He is a new dentist and could do with more experience and studying. read more

I am taking care of the healthcare and finances for a friend who has Alzheimer's Dementia and when she moved into a memory-care home, I had to find a new dentist for her. Yelp led me to Dr. Kohler and his crew. I cannot express how grateful I am to them for the attentive and kind care they gave my friend. On her side, they made her feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. She had a minimum of discomfort and Dr. K , himself, called the next day to see how she was doing. On the caregiver side, they took extra time and trouble to make sure that everyone was notified and updated on my friend's progress and outcome. The bill was presented in a timely and professional manner and before they began work, they contacted the insurance company to find out what the copay would be. All in all, a five star experience. My friend still has her bright and shiny smile and now she has a new dentist that she likes and trusts! I found a dental practice that I can rely on to take excellent care of my vulnerable charge. Dr. Kohler and his staff took great care of me. I came in to have a crown put on a previous root canal I had and too take care of cavity next to that tooth. It was a bit of lengthy process because of the location and the work that needed to be done. Dr. Kohler was wonderful at explaining everything to me and walking me through the process. The dentist is typically not my favorite place to be but I will definitely be returning to Dr. Kohler's office for future treatments due to his care and compassion for his patients. read more

This dentist provides an experience that is comfortable and easy. The staff is incredibly friendly and informative. The connectivity is awesome, and they always make me feel welcomed. They truly feel like my "family dentist." They see all of my children, my parents, my husband, and myself. They don't push unnessary procedures and tend to watch things before acting. Love this dentist office and his staff! I had to have a tooth filled last week and the novocain just would not cooperate. Dr. K and his hygienist were super patient with me, while we waited. A few days later, I received a follow up call, from Dr. K. What a nice touch, to check in on your patients. Then, yesterday some amalgam had come out of a filling from years ago. I was afraid that all of it would come out and I would be in excruciating pain. Sierra was super sweet and assured me that Dr. Kohler would take care of it for me. I was told that he would be leaving tonight to go out of town, but they still were able to fit me in this morning. Yaay!! Dr Kohler takes the time to get the job done right! I recently had a crown (that was put in improperly years ago) replaced. .He was very careful to get an odd curve of the tooth just right so that it would fit properly this time. He is always very courteous while he is working with you and lets you know what to expect. A previous dentist did not always give me enough local anesthesia before work began. This is not a problem with Dr Kohler. He wants to be sure you do not feel any pain while he is doing his work. and makes sure you have plenty of local. I was very attached to my last dentist (of 30 years), and leery about trying somebody new, but Dr. Kohler is wonderful. My kids and parents are patients too, and everyone has been very happy.
