Means a lot to me that Oak Tree Dental came out of the woodwork to not only work with my insurance, which has been switching a lot recently, but to go out of their way to recommend and get me pre-approval for a much needed deep clean. Very helpful and I am thankful for the efficient service and follow through. It can be difficult to find a good practice, especially combing through Yelp and reading dentists ridicule some patients in the comments (You know we read those, right? It's not a personal attack). This place doesn't even smell like a dentistry practice when you first walk in, which is a big surprise. Probably because the individual rooms are closed off. Good for privacy. I went to Oak Tree Dental for the first time and had a great experience. Easy parking, large open space office, friendly & welcoming staff. For first impressions, it was a 10/10. I didn't have to wait long and I never felt rushed. I had my x-rays done, then moved on to the cleaning. I really appreciate how every person I encountered were so helpful in explaining what they were doing and what was happening. I met Dr Riad and he really listened to my issues and tried to come up with a solution. I liked his approach and how he explained his diagnosis. It made sense and I appreciated hearing his thoughts on this pain jaw pain that I have been experiencing for the last 10 years! At the end, I had a very nice person break down all the potential costs and insurance coverage for me. They have a nice quiet conference room to discuss any questions or issues. No pressure to do anything. It's all up to me, but they also provide honest feedback & suggestions. I had a great experience with this dental office and the entire team. I came in with a broken tooth and needed urgent treatment, and Dr. Rafik Riad truly did his best to help me. The staff was friendly and the office was clean. However, I came for a cleaning and was told I had sixteen cavities and a root canal. They quoted me almost $8k in dental work. I thankfully went and got a second opinion and they found only three cavities. Be aware of overtreatment here. read more

I have a big fear of the dentist. Went here for my first visit- upon arrival, really liked the look & vibe of the place. Front desk receptionists very friendly. The hygienist was so nice and gentle. I felt really calm, until the dentist came in. He knew how nervous I was (I told him) and proceeded to be very aggressive with what he felt I needed done- ALL at once . It felt extremely pushy- and like he was a salesman. I felt very pressured. I told him financially I couldn't and asked what was covered by insurance. He said, that's the wrong thing to say and proceeded to say "well you're paying me to tell you what's wrong". Completely lacks empathy and effective communication skills. Really unfortunate since the rest of my experience was great- will not let that man touch my teeth- Will not return. read more

Watch out for this place! They did x-rays and said that my son had 6 cavities - I have taken those same x-rays to two other dentists over the last few months and BOTH of them agreed he has no cavities and just a "watch". The dentist was also pushing for wisdom teeth surgery in the first 2 min of meeting us- and she claimed that there are "no risks" at all when my son inquired. I wanted to wait until I got a second opinion before I wrote this review, so now I can. I went for a routine cleaning and check up. #1 just because you have a 7am appointment when they first open doesn't mean you won't wait 20 minutes for the staff to fire up their computers and then begin calling patients. #2 dental hygienist was fantastic - she was thorough, careful and very kind. #3 (and I read the same on another review) Dentist walks in, no pleasantries at all. Asks me why I haven't been back in a year and I explained that they ran my insurance out in Jan. of the previous year so I had to wait. I was then berated that money should not stand in the way of my dental health. This was done while I was lying down in the chair, with him above me and my neck craned back to see him. He then condescendingly reported the problem I had (btw no mention of previous root canals and crowns that were needed from 2024 visit) - showing me the inside of my mouth with a live camera feed. I wonder if I was my 6ft husband if he'd have the same demeanor? He told me my nerves are dead and it will effect my health and that this needed to be done right away. The previous root canal they did in '24 he told me the infection could head to my brain and kill me? By the time I was done I was pretty shaken up. I was then made to sit in a conference room and wait for the "financial specialist" - another 20 minutes. She comes in and begins to tell me everything he's going to do to my teeth. Two root canals and two crowns - they have to bring someone else in to do the root canals. By the time she was done she was handing me a $6k estimate. I told her I wasn't going to get the work done so I didn't want to sign, she then got extremely snippy and told me I was committing insurance fraud. I ended up signing and leaving. I went to my regular dentist (Oak tree was more convenient - silly me) and asked that he look at the same two teeth. He did a few more x-rays, took the camera shots and mentioned that if my teeth are sensitive to cold then the nerves are still viable. We discussed the plan of attack which did not include automatic root canals and in the end the estimate is about $1,750 after insurance without the pain of two root canals. It seems root canals and crowns may be his golden ticket - if money shouldn't stand in the way of proper dental health he may want to check himself. Don't dentists have the same creed as doctors? I was a patient here and had a list was made up of work they wanted to do X rays were shown to me explanations were given about the list .I excepted the plan and my insurance was run out and I ended up with a root canal the dentist offered me a deal to pay $1700 for half the work to get rid of the pain and in January do the other half but no worries when they fix the problem my insurance will be depleted for the year and they will work with me to pay out of pocket.My new dentist fixed the root canal and pointed out on the his X rays that this was a tooth that had recently been worked on and turned into an infection root canal there for I do not recommend Oak tree dental along with one of my visits I wasn't covered when x rays were taken the dentist explained not to worry he's never covered when he takes X-rays and he's feeling fine. read more

I wish I wasn't writing this. Yet after what I thought was a routine check up - turned into 8 fillings which were sloppy (the resin was on the side of my teeth and weren't polished or sand down). When I asked the hygienist questions on the filling she put a bit blocker in my mouth and proceeded with what she was doing. Yet she kept asking for assistance from others that walked by the office and then those hygienist started to criticize her in her work. The Dentist finally came in and commented on her quality of work too (all the while I had the bit blocker in and couldn't ask for help - I tried). He then took over the fillings and the bit blocker was removed. The sides of my mouth were champed. And I was numb on each side so it was very hard to speak or check my bite. Once it all wore off I was in so much pain. Couldn't chew on the side the hygienist worked on. I called the dentist and went back 2 additional times to get my bite checked. The 2nd time they said nothing looked off (and that same hygienist kept taking my case). The last time I went back it was finally with a different hygienist and dentist. This one was able to clean up the resin (that was all over my teeth) and fix my bite. This was 4 months ago and unfortunately I still have residual pain on that side that hygienist worked on. Ive been really hesitant about writing this review but I hope others don't have the same experience I did and can save their teeth from this pain read more

Hands down best dentist experience I've ever had! I felt so comfortable I had to get all 4 wisdom teeth extracted went in for just a consultation and Dr. Rafik Riad told he they could do it that day! and it would be done in less than an hour. Dr. Rafik Riad and Yousif took such good care of me in a very nerve-racking time getting 4 teeth extracted is stressful but they talked me throughout the whole process and made sure I was always comfortable. Laura took my x-rays and was very kind and gentle. Samantha took care of getting me all the information and payment plans I needed was very kind and was always making sure I was okay and if I needed anything she even called the next day to see how my healing was doing! Went to Oak Tree Dental for the first time today as I was looking for a dentist office a bit closer to home. They were absolutely amazing! Yousif, the dental assistant, brought me to the back to get my xrays started. He was personable and walked me through what we were going to do. He also did the polish at the end of my appointment and it was quick and painless! Dr. Zaku was the one who saw me today to go through my xrays, walk me through any areas that I would need to focus on in the future, and did my cleaning. I was blown away as the last few dental practices I went to, the doctor hardly spent any time with me. She was super sweet, talked me through all my options, and constantly checked in with me to make sure I wasn't in any pain.
