Pamela and I benefited from Kevin's motivation and professionalism. Kevin and his team inspired us to "feel the love" during our engagement shoot and wedding preparation photos. Kevin's thoughtfulness by providing a framed photo for our wedding was much appreciated and now is hanging in our living room. We appreciate this wonderful gift. You will not be disappointed with Kevin's talented work. 5 Stars! Sincerely, John and Pamela 12/30/2016 read more

This review is really long overdue. Simply put, Kevin and his team were amazing. I was in the process of launching my practice and needed to have updated linkedin photos done. I browsed the portfolios of all the professional photographers in the area on yelp, and I liked Kevin's stylistic approach the best. I work in the alternative energy industry, I wanted my portraits to look modern yet professional. Most of the other photographers specialize in corporate photos in the Pasadena area have an more old fashioned sense of aesthetics. When I called Kevin, he was fast to understand my needs, he asked a lot of good questions to pinpoint what I'm after and on top of that he gave a very reasonable hourly rate quote! By the time I showed up in his studio, the white backdrop and lighting were already set up and ready to go! We wasted no time at all! I showed a few photos on pinterest and kevin coached me to pose with the appropriate posture and body language with ease! Everyone in the studio was friendly and helpful through the process. Within the 1.5 hours I was there, Kevin and his team were highly efficient and effective. We were able to fit in 2 outfit changes and shoot both indoor and outdoor photos all within one session. To make sure we got all the photos we needed and I would be happy with the final outcome, Kevin showed the photos real time on his large monitor as we were taking them indoors and on the camera screen when we shot outdoors. I discovered that Kevin and his team even went the distance to shoot test shots of his assistants in the "Linkedin" backdrop prior to my arrival so that I could maximize the utilization of time in studio. The turn-around for delivery was both very smooth and fast. Within 24 hours Kevin delivered retouched versions of the indoor photos we agreed on, and the rest of the outdoor photos followed the next day. I would heartily recommend Kevin and his team to friends and colleagues any time. read more

Kevin Lee is an excellent photographer with great customer service. Kevin and his team did an amazing job with the photography for our family photo shoot, engagement photo shoot, wedding photo shoot and wedding video. He provides 1st class service and is very responsive and reliable. We are thankful that we picked him. Other people at the wedding also commented on how large his team was and how many photographers he brought to assist with our big day. Hence, he gave us multiple options for each scene because he provided us different shots from him and his other team members. We highly recommend Kevin as a photographer for any event! read more

I found Kevin Lee studio when I was browsing the web for wedding videos. I fell in love with a wedding video kevin did and it happens to be at the same venue as my wedding! Kevin and his team are absolutely wonderful to work with! We did the engagement photo + wedding day photos + wedding day video! He came with profession equipments and even a drone! My husband also dabbled in photography as a hobby and he was super impressed! I can tell Kevin has a tons of experiences and are familiar with the different locations we were shooting at! My family and I are so amazed at the number of photographers and videographers who showed up on the day of the wedding and the time they took to make sure we get pictures from all angles!!! The end result is of course breathtaking! Kevin captured every single moment of the wedding. We will be able to cherish the photos and the video forever! Kevin's style is very modern and chic! Every picture is instagramable! I would recommend Kevin to all my friends and family! I will definitely hire Kevin for all of my future events! read more

We used Kevin Lee for our engagement session (memory journey) and wedding and absolutely LOVED him and his team :) We had a lot of great pictures and wedding album. He's very professional and personable. Fast forward two years... we returned to Kevin Lee for our family photo session when our daughter turned one. WE LOVE KEVIN LEE STUDIO! read more

We got married a little over a month ago and much of the day's success can be attributed to Kevin Lee photography. Mr. Lee and his staff exhibit the upmost professionalism, kindness, and consideration anyone could ask for. Honestly, you will be hard pressed to find a better photographer in Southern California, and arguably in the entire state. 1) Engagement picture session - Mr. Lee and his staff shot our engagement pictures in five different locations throughout southern California. He was patient, never expressed an ounce of annoyance, and was fun to work with. Additionally, he used the engagement shoot to teach us several poses that he would later use on our wedding day. This was incredibly helpful as we were foreign to the world of photography. His coaching and advice helped us feel more secure on our big day. 2) Wedding - Our big day entailed a separate photo shoot at 4 different locations due to time constraints at our venues 1) Hotel 2) Pasadena City Hall (first look pictures) 3) Wedding Church 4) Reception Venue. Our schedule, to say the least, was complicated and stressful. To top that, we had a bridal party of 24 individuals and ~300 guests. With that many locations, that many people, that many details, we knew this was going to be a tough feat to accomplish. However, Mr. Lee and his staff captured our love moments at all locations flawlessly. Mr. Lee and his staff were actually early to all locations. They were able to round up our massive bridal party and enormous family and capture our big day without a hiccup. Mr. Lee and his staff simply personify professionalism. 3) Work Product - Our engagement & wedding pictures have been lauded by our family and friends as being priceless, the best ever, amazing, and astonishing. Honestly words don't do his work justice. You can view his website and view his work for yourself. http://www.kevinleestudio.com/ We adamantly believe his work speaks for itself. We simply had an amazing and lovely day - a day full of memories that will last a lifetime - thanks to Kevin Lee Studio. Mr. Lee and his staff can and should be trusted for your big event. Honestly, Kevin Lee Studio is not only the best valued, but also the best photography we have experienced and seen. Thank you Kevin Lee Studio for making our dream come true. read more

I LOVE HIS WORK!!!!!! Choosing a right photographer is an important factor for a Wedding. I had reviewed over 20 photographers for my Wedding and Kevin Lee's work stood out from the rest of them. Kevin applies lighting techniques to Wedding Photography that's different from others. My Wedding was back in December 2013 and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Kevin is kind, patient and very dedicated in getting great shots, even under difficult circumstances. I have friends who recently got married and they regret not knowing Kevin earlier. I highly recommend Kevin Lee as a Wedding photographer. Best in the business in my opinion. Thank you Kevin for giving us such cherished images and capturing our special day! read more

Choosing Kevin Lee Studio for our wedding and engagement photography was probably one of the best decisions we ever made during our wedding planning. Kevin and his team of professional photographers are very well known in the commercial and wedding photography industry so we were confident that they would be amazing and they sure are! Kevin, Ted and Phillip are professional, talented, and patient! During our engagement session, they made us feel comfortable and were very focused on getting the shots that they envisioned for us. What's amazing about them is that not only are they passionate about what they do, they are very friendly and personable and we enjoyed each minute with them during our engagement shoot. They are not ordinary like others, they first talk to their clients and gets to know them so that site selections and environment settings are more personable and relevant to each couple. They are experts at what they do and will deliver you with memories that will last a lifetime. Throughout the chaos that happens during the wedding day, they were patient and I don't know how they do it, but just put us at ease while they captured those moments that were meant to be beautifully captured. Thank you Kevin, Ted, Phillip for what you do and bringing us smiles! read more

I'm so glad my now husband/then fiance found Kevin Lee! Kevin and his team are awesome at what they do, they know how to tell stories through still images. Working with them have been such a pleasure, Kevin and his team are some of the nicest people and are super committed to delivering the right pictures. Our engagement picutres turned out amazing, I actually cried when he first showed me. It's a lot of hours and lots of work, but truly worth the time. I just saw our wedding pictures and of course they blew my mind. They are the most beautiful pictures and I'm so amazed at how Kevin and his team caught everything. I don't remember them at all during my wedding, which means they weren't disruptive yet they caught every intimate detail. I love love their work and definitely recommend them. Brides, check out their work, they are reasonably priced for the quality and amount of work they put in. read more

I'm sure anyone reading this review probably already knows that there are SOOOO many different wedding photographers out there. I soon realized that once I started planning my wedding and I seriously did not know who to hire. It was an overwhelming process. Luckily, my now husband found Kevin Lee Studio on Yelp. After reading all of the lovely reviews, we contacted Kevin Lee. We originally opted to use one of his apprentices, Ian, because our wedding was going to be extremely small and we had a tight budget. We met Ian at the studio and he showed us portfolios and we were instantly impressed with the amazing editing and great pictures he and everyone else at Kevin Lee Studio took. We put down a deposit that same day. A few weeks before our wedding, Kevin Lee contacted us and let us know that Ian had a personal emergency and would not be able to shoot our wedding. However, Kevin Lee said he would shoot our wedding for the same price that we hired Ian for. We were ecstatic and impressed by his kind generosity. He could have very well have sent another apprentice on par with Ian and we would have been just as happy. Yet, he volunteered to take less money to shoot our wedding. Amazing. Kevin Lee arrived right on time at the hotel where we were getting ready. He brought a crew of 4 along with him and they even threw in a videographer for free because they were testing out a new style of video. No complaints here. My hair and makeup took a lot longer than expected so Kevin Lee and his crew were shooting photos of us getting ready and never once complained at the fact that we were running behind schedule. Finally, 3 hours later, we all headed over the video to take pictures for the last 1.5 hours of sunlight. I was so nervous about taking pictures because I am a bit camera shy and have never been professionally photographed before. Kevin Lee made the whole process feel so natural and had us laughing the entire time. After we the ceremony, Kevin Lee and his crew stayed for almost all of the reception shooting photos of my friends and family having a great time. We were so excited to get our pictures because we knew they were going to be amazing and once we got them, we were not disappointed. I was actually surprised at how natural we both looked and how great the editing was. His creativity is one of a kind. Kevin Lee's attention to detail is really one you don't find often. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to hire a photographer for any special event, especially a wedding. read more

My wife and I planned our own wedding. Because of that, we interviewed and discussed with many different vendors, ranging from photographers, chair covers, flowers, to party gifts. Thinking about some decisions we had to make, some we would reconsider, but hiring Kevin Lee Studio as our photographers is one of the best ones we made. They are true professionals with a lot of pride in their work...real artists with real passion for photography. We have recommended them to our friends and family and will recommend them to anyone in a heart beat. As the previous reviewer mentioned, during the wedding, they weren't disruptive and caught many details. Reviewing the engagement and wedding photos with friends and family brought many priceless memories back. Thank you Kevin, Ted and Philip at Kevin Lee Studios for a job well done... read more

Kevin was the Oldest Sister's wedding photographer and yes, it helped that she is beautiful but he and the team did such a great job with her wedding photographs that the Husband and I wanted to use him as well. We opted for the Memory Journey (a special kind of engagement shoot where you take him to a few locations that are meaningful to your relationship instead of just going to beautiful spots) as well because we have such a long relationship history and from the beginning, Kevin was fantastic. The Oldest Sister got married two years ago and since then, it's obvious to even my untrained eyes that Kevin's eyes and hands have gotten much better. The best thing about Kevin is his unfettered enthusiasm for you and your significant other. He is truly excited and happy to be part of your special moments and this is expressed through unflagging energy. He and his team (but particularly Kevin) go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, happy and beautiful. The entire team, including the squad of apprentices that Kevin brings with him on the Day Of as well as the apprentice that he may have during the Memory Journey, are great. I had a disastrous Day Of wedding dress fiasco and our pre-wedding shoot was delayed over an hour and a half but the photographers were all cheerful and encouraging and made me feel a bit more relaxed. Kevin will make you laugh with his cheerful exhortations to "fall in love!" and "look happy!" and "look at her!" and "look over there!" and "close your eyes and feel each other!" and sometimes you might feel awkward but Kevin always makes it easier. If you go visit Kevin at his office try to find street parking. There's a lot of free parking during the weekdays but on the weekends bring a lot of quarters. There currently is not a garage where clients can park. read more

Words cannot express how wonderful Kevin Lee and his team has been to us. We first found them through a mutual contact and fell in love with his work and enthusiasm for photography immediately. From the beginning, he always made great efforts to meet all of our needs and went above and beyond our expectations (and worked tirelessly in the blazing California summer heat) on my wedding day to capture the most important moments of our lives. Kevin and his team has the uncanny quality of making you feel (and my entire bridal party/family) very relaxed and comfortable while he works his magic. I'd definitely work with Kevin again and have referred many of my friends that are getting married to him. His quality of work, desire to always go the extra mile, professionalism, stride for perfection, and overall warmth/charisma makes him the best photographer, ever. Thanks Kevin for everything. I appreciate all that you have done for us. read more

Amazing pictures and great detail in capturing and creating unique and fun moments. As a DJ I must highly say I work with many photographers. The work that Kevin puts in is very professional and I know he takes his job seriously If you look at his samples you will see that he has a great eye. And also creativity in where and when to take pictures. He was a delight to work with and I would highly recommend his services for any future clients that are looking for the best photographer out there! read more

Best photographers in Southern California! I am an event planner. My cousin decided to get married and we had only three months to plan the wedding. I was very lucky to find them on such short notice. They were extremely professional. And watching the shots they were getting, I know we will have amazing photos! Depending on the size of the party, they seem to come in a team of at least three photographers, each as professional and artistic as the other. I also noticed that the bride and groom, as well as any of the family members, did not get frustrated with them. They were very efficient and the quality of their work is outstanding. I would use them for any event anytime. read more

We did a photo shoot for my family for the holidays. I am so pleased with his service. He was prompt, friendly, professional and honest. Kevin, like a lot of photographers did not rush, count minutes or image count. he wanted to make sure he got great shots and that we were happy. The shoot also involved my five month old son and he was so great with him- very patient! Though my son didnt smile much (bad day), he was able to capture a lot of moments and the few times he did smile. I just sent my christmas cards out and I am so pleased with the images we chose for them. I would highly recommend Kevin for your family shots. Price is definitely reasonable. read more

Kevin and his team are truly amazing and are able to produce stunning results. Their portfolio really stands out and they have top notch gear and techniques. They are able to make the subject very comfortable and keep things fun and energetic to bring out natural smiles. There are many details they pay close attention to such as your hair, posture and background that tell me they have a lot of experience. The also do an excellent job with photo retouching and deliver results that are incredible. The bride was selective when deciding on a wedding team and Kevin and his team really impressed and we highly recommend. read more

I am so happy that my (then) fiance and I decided to go with Angel DV for our wedding photography. We did a lot of research and Angel DV fit our budget and our needs. When we first met with Ted Choi (who would be our main photographer), we liked the samples of his work as well as his personality because he seemed like someone we could definitely work with. My (now) husband and I have not received our wedding photo album yet (it's only been a few days!), but I really wanted to write this review based on my experience so far. Ted's team has been amazing! I seriously cannot tell you how much he and his team care and will do what it takes to get the best photos possible. From our engagement sessions to the actual wedding day, Ted and his team have been a pleasure to work with. We got our engagement pictures on time as requested (so we could include some in our slide show). Although I did not like some, the only reason was because I did not get a good make up job done and I wasn't satisfied with the way I looked in some of the pictures. But the actual photos themselves were gorgeous and really shows off Ted's artistic & professional eye. On our wedding day, Ted and his team went above and beyond our expectations. They arrived on time and starting with the getting ready shots, their professionalism kicked off into a stream of well directed shots. I really appreciated the efforts they took to capture the day/night and I have to say that Ted and his team worked the room like no other photography team I've ever seen. Many of my guests were so impressed with their seemingly tireless energy that they commented that night as well as for days after. Obviously I don't have my wedding day photos yet, but based on my experience with them (2 days of engagement sessions and 1 wedding day) I feel confident in recommending Ted Choi! If you want a talented team of photographers that really care about capturing your most special moments, this is the team you want! read more

Photo is the ultimate art where time stands still. Moments captured tell a story and they are only as good as the artist that captures these precious moments. Once that moment is gone it is lost forever.. So, when picking a wedding photographer I only wanted the best. My closest friend is actually a great photographer who does wonders with pictures but alas he needed to be my groomsman so the search started. That friend linked me to Kevin Lee and told me, "this photographer stands out without a doubt and his pictures just teem with life." I checked the pictures then had to contact Mr. Lee. Let's just say my wedding pictures turned out excellent and my most precious moments have been captured by this artist. read more

Kevin Lee is very professional and the best photographer. Me and my husband are so satisfied with our engagement and wedding pictures. He handled all the situations very well. I LOVE Kevin Lee and team! We got married 2 weeks ago and he spent the whole day shooting my wedding. The team is very professional, talented and quick. They truly made the day so easy and fun. Kevin and his staff were phenomenal. My wife Amy and I felt so comfortable during both the engagement photo shoot as well as the wedding. The great thing is that Kevin actually went above and beyond. He brought his whole staff and extra photographers to our wedding, when we had expected just Kevin. Even during our engagement photo shoot, he brought us some baked goods to give us the energy to take more amazing pictures. It's clear that his work is flawless, and the images pop out like magazine pictures. We highly recommend AngelDV to anyone, and will make sure all of our friends and family use his services. read more

Hiring Kevin and his studio was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Although we hired 2 photographers and 1 videographer, he came with 5 people total, which was more than we asked for. He also gave us an extra hour of his time when he saw our schedule. Finally, even after they were officially off the clock, they still took group photos of the guests as they were leaving. We credit them with keeping our wedding on schedule, which we planned out over two Facetime sessions. They kept an eye on the clock and on the schedule we drew up and directed us to exactly where we needed to be when we needed to be there and how to pose. James and Alex also did a great job. Alex tied ties for my now husband, his best man, and my father-in-law. During the entire night, if I wanted a photo taken, there was always a photographer or videographer ready to go. We would definitely hire Kevin and his team again. read more

Kevin Lee and his talented team are professional and friendly artists with an eye for lighting and composition. They do not just take photographs- they use their work to tell a story that captures the genuine tone and emotion in a scene. We searched for a wedding photographer for weeks - I know just enough about photography to be particular- but when I saw Kevin's portfolio, I knew we had finally found someone with the technical skills and vision who could do the job. And, equally important to us, Kevin and his team are reliable and personable - the kind of people you enjoy interacting with the day of your wedding. Our event spanned a range of outdoor and indoor locations which required an uncommon degree of artistic versatility - backlit aspen trees, bright reflective lakes with mountain vistas, campfires with the Milky Way overhead, intimate candlelit lodges- and Kevin managed to capture all of them perfectly. In fact, he was able to bring out the natural beauty of the setting so well that I would have never guessed that it was his first time in the Eastern Sierras! Beyond the setting, Kevin and his team were also able to convey the spirit of our ceremony and personality of our friends and family. Kevin even helped us avoid normal photograph pitfalls... for example, my husband is notorious for closing his eyes during photos. To my great surprise, I couldn't find a single photo in the thousands Kevin and his team took with this problem. They must have an amazing sense of timing! The team also used a variety of interesting angles and techniques to offer new perspectives of the event without becoming too abstract. The result was a creative and complete set of memories from our wedding. In addition to their technical gifts, Kevin and his team are likable and gracious. For example, they are not phased by inevitable delays (we were running late to our engagement photo shoot and they were incredibly kind and understanding), which is a blessing on a day as stressful as a wedding. They were willing to honor requests for specific photos, and generously took a few pictures at our rehearsal dinner even though we had invited them just as guests. In the end, our pictures showed incredible attention and thought - the team clearly noticed the details we had put into the decorations and flowers, and were able to catch key (unannounced) moments throughout the evening (father-daughter dance, for example). We couldn't be more pleased with the results - Kevin and his team did a phenomenal job turning out polished, well-framed photos. One of my relatives even commented that the pictures looked like they were taken out of a magazine- and she's right. We would definitely recommend him for wedding in Southern California - the Eastern Sierras - and beyond! read more

When my husband and I first started planning our wedding, we were completely overwhelmed, especially by the extensive list of photographers that we could hire. However, the moment I laid eyes upon Kevin's work, I knew that he was the one for us. 1. Quality: Kevin and his team capture emotion so well that they have the ability to capture what you've experienced throughout your entire relationship in just a few short hours. They take simple moments and turn them into something beautiful. Photography is so much about personal preference, but if you enjoy photojournalism with the use of clean, natural lighting, then there's nobody better than Kevin and his team. He has such an eye for the "perfect shot," and his pictorial shots are second-to-none. 2. Dedication: When we first signed up for the "Engagement Session," Kevin had said that it was going to be a 3-hour shoot. (The "Memory Journey" which captures a couple's history from beginning to present is much more elaborate and takes about 2 days!) However, on the day of the shoot, Kevin arrived early at USC and we shot for almost 6 hours--with no extra charge! He brought an assistant with him and even provided us lunch and drinks. 3. Patience: My husband and I had a tri-cultural wedding (American, Chinese, and Vietnamese) with about 350 people and 8 people in our bridal party. Despite this, Kevin treated all of us with the utmost patience. Kevin arrived early and with 3 assistants. All of them were so courteous and energetic. They climbed stairs, trees, and chairs in order to get the best shots. They knelt, sprawled, and even hopped. Our wedding was a 12-hour ordeal from set-up to take-down, consisting of 3 different venues (Kyoto Grand Hotel, Disney Center, and NBC Restaurant). Never once did any of the photographers show a sign of fatigue. When my family insisted on taking pictures, they always allowed them to finish before taking their shots. And, they were never intrusive. My family can be hard to handle and my mom almost never smiles, but my family was so enamored by him that they couldn't stop talking about him even days after the wedding. 4. Personality: Kevin is one of the most calming and reassuring people in the world. I always walked into his office with a bundle of nerves, but I always walked out with a smile. Kevin is truly kind person who possesses great passion for his work. He always went the extra mile for Tom and me; he created both a sign-in book and collage only five days before the ceremony. Plus, he's super organized and he communicates well. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. A few tips about how to get the most out of your experience: * Reserve Kevin ahead of time--he's popular and gets booked fast. * Take advantage of the "Engagement Shoot" or "Memory Journey" so that you can learn the poses ahead of time and get to know Kevin better. * Kevin can sometimes take a few days to get back to your emails, but he always gets back to you, so just be patient. * His services can be pricey ($4000 for Engagement Shoot and 12 hours of shooting on the day of the wedding), but we decided to forgo a videographer just to hire him because he is THAT good. He was worth every penny and more. Plus, he creates a highlight slideshow/video of all your highlights at the end that practically serves as a "DVD" of the day anyway. I was not a bride who wanted to plan a wedding, but I would go through the whole planning ordeal again just to work with Kevin another time. I wholeheartedly recommend him to any couple who is looking to look good for their big day. read more

Ted and his team were the best. We just got the pictures and they are just beautiful and heart-warming. It did take a little longer than we had expected to get them but it was definitely worth the wait. They actually took more than 8000 pictures on the day of, made our slide show, and sorted out the better pictures for us (which explains the wait). Ted has sooo much positive energy it's unbelievable!!! We love love the pictures. Family and friends were so impressed with them on the wedding day and even more when they saw the pictures. (My sister actually said she wants Ted and Angel DV to do my niece and nephew's weddings, although they are only 10 and 11 now.) Thank you so much Ted!!! You reallly captured each and every precious moment! read more

Of all the choices we made for our wedding, the photographer was the second (the first was the venue.). The day is among the most important of our lives, and we knew it had to be well photographed, well covered, and we needed a photographer who could be there for the whole day AND come in at a price we thought was reasonable and within our budget. This is a huge order, and Kevin Lee and his team, especially the brilliant Alex An (who came and did solo duty for our rehearsal dinner) absolutely met the challenge with flying colors. Kevin brought what seemed to be a small ninja force to shoot our perfect day. They blended in, and didn't miss a beat. They were so kind and easy to work with, and patient, and creative, and absolutely took knock out shot after knock out shot, they even brought their own lighting (!) - it was shocking to see the final images (especially knowing that most peoples biggest regret on their wedding day is making the wrong decision with the photographer.). Kevin is a master photographer that knows the ins and outs of commercial and art photography, so the shots we got were not just "good snaps with a nice camera", they were well thought out and well executed. We've never actually seen better "in the darkness dance shots" than his, most photographers just shoot with a camera mounted flash or just try to get a shot that's blurry, but not Kevin. He brought side lighting and pole mounted flashes that he somehow set up wherever we needed it without us noticing... Kevin's team was seamless - and we hired them for both photos and videos (and there was even a drone that shot aerial footage. The video is breathtaking - a well edited 8 minute piece that we will treasure forever (and we got every minute on a Hard Drive in case we literally want to live the entire day over again from six different perspectives.). The photos will be among our lives greatest treasures. No doubt about it, we will be hiring Kevin Lee Studio again in the future for other life events, but do yourself a favor, and just hire them for yours now- you will never forget it. read more

Thank you Kevin for the long explanation. As you may understand, this Yelp is for the clients to share the experience. I don't know why you have to disclose all my information on public to retaliate me. I gladly accepted your apology, and I apologized you if I have hurt your feeling. But I just had a bad experience with you. You made the grimace face when I pointed out anything, and I felt like not worth commenting anything bad. I know you work hard and want to satisfy the clients, and I wanted to exchange the best work with best situation/relationship with you. How could I tell you anything if you can't even accept 3 stars? Do you see how frustrating it is to tell you anything negative? As I was nearing my wedding date, I didn't want any awkward situation with you, and I have been biting my tongue. You couldn't make me happy, even when I made all the compliments, and I wonder how would it have been if I had said anything negative. I am glad that I am not battling with you before my wedding. You've been asking me to delete this post for so many times, and I do not have intention to do so. In fact, you have been spreading things about me, and had your friend call my father-in-law to personally attack me. If you tried to ruin my newly wedded family, I'm sorry. It didn't work. I am in awe of how persistent you are trying to harass me for a negative feedback. As I have told you before, I don't want anything (no money back or make-up) from you. If my intention was a reward, I would have contacted you personally, or wouldn't have remitted my payment in full before my wedding. I wanted you to try your best at the best possible condition, and I just didn't like it. Also, please finish your work on contract before you offer me a free website (which was made to attack me also) or a new shooting session. Don't you think that it's such a comedy for me to be smiling in front of you? All I wanted was just to leave a honest review to help other people not encountering such situation with you. I hope you haven't been altering your review scores like this all those years. read more

We hired Dai Kim from Kevin Lee studio for our engagement pictures and wedding shots. I am super impressed by the service and quality of pictures, especially at such a great price. For the engagement pictures, Dai and Kevin spent 5 hours with us taking pictures in San Juan Capistrano. On the wedding day, a team of 4 was with us (led by Dai) for a good 12 hours. The pictures are artistic yet capture the emotions and excitement of the time. Kevin Lee and his team (Elena was our second photographer) along with the crew from SWA videography blew me away! They were very professional- arriving early, and staying late. We had planned a sparkler exit and it was very very nice of them to stay longer (mind you they had already worked 10+ hours) to capture the special grand exit, and we got some amazing photos! Thank you to all! An extra videographer even came along which was unexpected, but a nice gesture that truly goes to show they will go above and beyond to capture all the wonderful memories of your wedding. Kevin Lee was a true professional, making everyone laugh (including wedding party and in-laws!) and feel comfortable, as well as providing tips on how to get the best photos. I was in a wedding party shortly after mine and I could see the difference between how experienced Kevin Lee was compared to the other photographer. You will understand on the day of your wedding! I must admit, my now-husband picked the photographer, but I couldn't be more pleased with his choice! I would HIGHLY recommend them to all my friends and family in the future. read more

Kevin and his team sets the standard for wedding photography and videography. They deliver true art. From the moment we initiated our first meeting, my husband and I were completely sold that we went with Kevin and his team for all our photos and videos from our engagement photoshoot to our actual wedding day and it was one of the best decisions that my husband and I made. There are moments on your wedding day that can easily be forgotten, and everything flashes by so fast. Kevin and his team captures them in a way that lets you relive them and immortalizes them to be looked back on all the days of our lives. Regular photos and videography show what happened in that day, but his work also shows emotions and reminds us how we felt on our wedding day. We will always treasure these for it brings us  back to the moment in a very special way.  Everyone who saw our video commented that they couldn't hold back tears and the way it is all put together truly tells our story. Also, Kevin and his team has a way of making us comfortable in front of the camera so that we look natural and not awkward. They are professional and truly a joy to work with. We were highly selective in choosing our wedding team, and I am glad to say that Kevin and his team delivered. We definitely highly recommend. read more

Kevin Lee and his talented team are amazing!!! He shot my wedding a month ago and I'm very thankful I chose him for it. He caught every detail and made everything so creative and beautiful. Kevin and his crew are as good as it gets. Not only are they true professionals who care about your wedding day but they are very reasonably priced. Their shots were all amazing and unique. Although I have not received the finished product yet because the wedding was less than a month ago, the samples he provided was extraordinary. Kevin comes with a few other shooters to ensure that every moment is captured. Not only does Kevin know how work the crowd and get the shots he wants but he fades in the back ground and can be seen taking candid shots. Kevin is just simply an awesome person to work with. Photography and cinematography were two vendors that I knew I had to have the best in during my special day. Kevin definitely did not disappoint. He is the best at what he does and will make sure you will never forget your wedding day with his incredible shots. Do not make a mistake and hire somebody else. Thanks Kevin! read more

Got our engagement photos back today and I feel like that was some of the best money I've ever spent. Especially considering we were getting quotes for double and triple the price. On the day of the shoot, Kevin had planned for a 3 hour shoot but it's not his style to watch the clock. He kept shooting and moving from one location to another until he felt satisfied that he got the variety of shots he needed to deliver a quality product. In the end, it took him over 5 hours to shoot, but the quality and array of different pictures he took for us are just stunning. He's generous with his time, he is friendly, and makes you feel extremely comfortable. It took him a little longer to finalize the engagement album just because he got booked up with so many gigs but it was well worth the wait for my fiancee and I. Love it! Thanks Kevin! Also, have to give a shout out to Scott who was his 2nd unit shooting as well. Scott also handled lighting which is how Kevin was able to capture some uber dramatic shots at dusk and into the early evening. I'll post a couple pics soon. read more

My husband and I got married last year, and we choose Kevin for our engagement and wedding day photos, and video. We met with multiple photographers during our wedding planning, and ultimately decided on Kevin and his team because Kevin was willing to work within our budget while offering a great package, he was very friendly, flexible, and went above and beyond (showed up early to scope out venue, and stayed late for both engagement and wedding) to make sure we had great photos. I provided Kevin with very detailed list of our photo needs and requests for the wedding day, and for the most part he delivered! Kevin has a preference for artistic shots and angles, with foreground objects. Although I don't mind some of these shots (because he is very good at them), we preferred more simple shots with ourselves, and guests as the main focus. Although we did communicate this to him, I do wish we had more shots of our guests at our wedding. I would advise, If you have specific style/shots in mind to communicate in advance with Kevin so you get exactly what you want. Overall, we have so many beautiful engagement and wedding photos from Kevin and his team, and they were so easy to work with! I would highly recommend Kevin! Thank you Kevin and team! read more
