They explained in detail about each option that I have. I choose the 5/1 ARM option because it makes the most sense for my situation. There is a difference in working with a long term professional than a new in business loan officer. Seems to me he is very passionate about what he is doing and doesn't mind spending the time to educate me all about mortgage and real estate. I love the simple yet powerful excel sheet detailing cost and benefits of each rate and loan program he presented to me. The loan process was streamlined and painless. Edward was easy to reach over the phone, their follow up process is consistent and it took less than 3 weeks to close my refinance. Avoid the headache and work with the best. Highly recommended Edward and his team for their client-centric and professionalism!

When we started looking for homes and saw Rita's reviews - how can everyone have so much amazing…read morethings to say - I was skeptical about how this could be possible. Fast forward three months later, and we have joined the choir. Rita and John (her husband, who assists) have been absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. Real estate is high stakes - the money, the pressure, the legal implications, the impact to living situation - and it's crucial to have someone who has your interests at heart. Whereas most real estate agents have conflicting priorities (put the client first or get the sale done ASAP and get their cut), Rita seems to live in a different world. If we showed impatience, she'd council us and slow us down. If a home wasn't worth buying, she'd straight up tell us - along with why so we'd be able to scout in the future. She listened to what we wanted and kept that in mind as we search for our dream home. (You can't find a perfect house, but at least know what you're getting into.) She also pointed out what would be valuable from an investment perspective. Rita put an enormous amount of time into educating us. We spent about 10 hours (or more) go over real estate fundamentals and learning by visiting open houses before getting more serious about putting down an offer. As first time homebuyers, this was absolutely critical as there is so much we didn't know. (There's still a lot we don't know - never assume you're done learning - but Rita can always give a good answer.) On the flip side, learning takes so much time, and when we were time crunched, Rita and John were both sensitive to the issue and came through in the clutch. They understood the need to prioritize and go fast when necessary. When you're reading through disclosures, trying to decide if and how much to offer on a house, with mere hours to decide - this is something we immensely appreciated. Due in part to the high prices of The Bay, we knew we may have to do renovations. Having a real estate professional that not only has contacts, but can give good estimates on what is possible, how much it would cost, and how long it will take while seeing homes is invaluable. Add in Rita's sense of interior design, and I can't imagine going through the home buying process alone. Oh, she also has a great reputation within the industry, which may have helped us have our offer be selected over two others which we were neck and neck with. She's earned her commission many times over - and the process isn't even done (since we're doing renovations)! Rita has been extremely responsive. She communicates well, both socially and under pressure. Rita has been and is absolutely incredible as a professional. She and John are people we hope to call friends for a long time to come.

We worked with her…read moreover multiple years, and throughout that entire time she was incredibly patient and supportive. At no point did we ever feel pressured to buy--she truly prioritized helping us find the right home rather than just closing a deal. Rita's knowledge of real estate, especially in the Bay Area, is exceptional. She took the time to educate us on both the big picture and the finer details--from factors that impact long-term appreciation to nuances like lot positioning, street exposure, layout considerations, foundation tradeoffs, and even practical aspects like roofs, windows, appliances, and ongoing maintenance. This gave us a level of confidence we wouldn't have otherwise had. She consistently went above and beyond for us. She stayed up late helping us prepare competitive offers and was always flexible in scheduling tours around our work hours, even on short notice when timing was critical. When it came time to make an offer, she guided us through a fast-moving process and helped position us to win in a competitive market. Even after closing, Rita continued to be an invaluable resource. She helped us navigate the early stages of a home renovation, connecting us with architects, contractors, and gardeners, and making sure we understood both immediate and long-term maintenance considerations. We're incredibly grateful for her guidance, expertise, and dedication. We would highly recommend Rita to anyone--especially first-time buyers looking for someone who is patient, knowledgeable, and truly invested in their clients' success.

He mentioned important things I did not see in the disclosures on my own, nor did AI even bring up (after I uploaded the disclosures). His input was crucial to my decision making about that property. One home which we were really considering had a bad upstairs smell (pet oriented). When I was thinking changing the carpet might fix it, Brad let me know the carpet was already changed recently (1 month), the smell remaining is already 'post new carpet repair,' so just changing the flooring might only help to a very minimal level. He also told me about the house flooring history, that the carpet had been ripped up in some pictures in bad condition, which could have exposed the sub-flooring to the pets, making a bigger issue. Brad didn't leave me to underestimate the issue on my own and end up in a position of buyer's remorse. He gave me all the information as soon as the discussion arose, like what someone would do for a family member (looking out for your best interests, and keeping your best interests in mind). Him doing this really proved he truly had my best interests in mind, and was not focused on any quick sale. He is an amazing agent and person for this. I highly recommend him. Before choosing a real estate agent, I conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. The EQ1 Real Estate Team stood out as the best the Silicon Valley has to offer: their organic rankings are excellent (meaning people find listings on his site easily), their social media presence was strong, and I could tell they put a lot of work into their listings. We spoke with Alvaro and then met with him at our home. He spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. Alvaro made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don't (but should), like staging tips, having professional photographs taken, and a lot more. When we saw our listing we were blown away. His hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition. Multiple buyers that saw the property on the first and only showing, put in offers. Our house went under contract 4 days after we put it on the market at a fair asking price and received above asking price offers. We accepted an offer and Alvaro walked us through every step of the closing process. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. We recommend the Alvaro Nevarez EQ1 Real Estate Team to everyone I know. He's a true professional and a genuinely nice guy. I realize it won't always be this easy to sell your home, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better Realtor. -The Gonzalez Family

Using his recommendations, I worked hard to do my best to get ready for the purchase and when it was time, Carlos went immediately into action and advocated for me at every turn. Though we had to go through the paces, he was kind enough to check on me daily and encourage me to keep going, and to let me know that it would be okay, and we would make it through and be victorious.
