Went in today to find a part for my Kohler toilet. 2 ladies helped me. They were knowledgeable and…read morefriendly and they found the part I needed. They were my 5th plumbing store. Can't thank them enough.

Our experience with Trufinity on a recent Poly-B removal can be summed up by four 'D's: Deceive,…read moreDelay, Deny, Dismiss. **Deceive:** We were quoted 3.5 days for the removal and install. When the crew arrived, Manager Sam Veach proudly stated we were in great hands and that the crew "had done hundreds of poly-b installs." However, the two technicians assigned to our project later admitted they were relatively new to Poly-B removal and had only done a "couple dozen" projects in their careers. **Delay:** Likely due to the lack of experience, the project stretched from 3.5 days to 6 days. When we called Sam on the morning of day 4 to ask when it would finish, he expected it to wrap that day, with a potential partial 5th day for finishing touches. Instead, by the end of day 5, water remained shut off to much of our house overnight, 12 tasks remained uncompleted, and a crew member informed us that due to scheduling issues, only one person was scheduled for day 6. Worried this would stretch into a 7th day, we called Sam again to express our deep concern. **Deny:** Sam first told us we were wrong about the single crew member scheduled for day 6, giving no context for why his employees believed that. He then claimed it was completely unrealistic to expect the job to be done in 3.5 days--despite Trufinity quoting us that exact timeframe during their initial site visit and scheduling. Sam insisted homes like ours easily take well over 4 days and that 6 days was not unusual. I called three other major plumbing companies who quoted this exact job; all stated 2-3 days is average for Kelowna homes of our complexity, with one saying they'd "never seen a Poly-B job take 6 days" and another saying 6 days is only appropriate for a mansion. Days later, another Trufinity manager admitted the project had gone well beyond normal length for this scale, directly contradicting Mr. Veach. Credit where it's due: after our call to complain, the second technician remained assigned, and a third, highly experienced tech arrived on day 6. The team of three finished all remaining tasks by 3:00 PM that afternoon. **Dismiss:** Throughout our conversations, our concerns were largely brushed off as "a part of the process." For a company claiming to provide "expert service with honesty and transparency," our experience was the opposite. We felt gaslit by Mr. Veach regarding the constantly shifting timeline and felt treated like just another number. Trufinity management did listen to our concerns multiple times and attempted to make it right by offering a discount on services. While we went back and forth on fair compensation, we appreciate the gesture. However, the compensation offered does not make up for a long, drawn-out, misleading, and dismissive process that caused immense stress. As such, we caution anyone considering Trufinity's services.

Double check the numbers. Had Vision Mechanical out a for a couple of issues at my home and was…read moresatisfied with the service from Dave from Plumbing and Jeff for my A/C. Requested a quote for a small gas heater for my garage and a verbal estimate of $3000-$3500 was given to me. I requested a written quote a bit later at the height of the season and my quote came back at just under $7000 ..twice the verbal, obviously they didn't know that I had a verbal estimate. As a former builder, I knew something was off with this quote. I asked for a verbal quote from another contractor who also was in the $3000 range. As I wanted to do this work...I asked to speak to the owner and instead received a call from someone else defending their price and that I should probably just go ahead with the other company. Not the comment I was hoping for, but what else can they say with admitting they were way over quoting me. I wish I could move ahead with this company for all my mechanical work, but it's hard to after this issue. Talk to your estimator about his quoting tactics Brent...unfortunatly this just cost you what would have been a good loyal client.

Absolutely disturbed! Do NOT bother. To disconnect a very basic dishwasher as I was worried to…read moremake an error... I was quoted over 400 dollars and if I wanted to connect the new one it would be another 100, which apparently was a 'great deal'. I was also quoted over 300 dollars to replace the water supply hose for the toilet. an item that is 30 dollars to purchase and takes 10 mins - as I did it ALL BY MYSELF afterwards. Either they just gave me high quotes so that he didn't need to do the work... but he still got his 100 bucks call out.... and then the invoice even has a TIP button! Seriously. If you are stretched with finances, NEVER EVER call them. It is not worth the shock and horror of it all. Don't worry, I managed to do it myself. We wonder why single moms do it all... BECAUSE places like this force us to. Absolutely disturbing. The lady on the phone was so nice, I felt like it was going to be good, but there we go. Lesson learned, 100 dollars lost. Sickening. Just when I thought I could ask for help, have sadly learned that greed is the only thing out there. Or maybe that is their game plan to a simple job they don't want to do. Quote ridiculously high, and still get their call out fee and go home early.
