I called as a brand-new patient, and even though her office was busy, they still fit me in--which I really appreciated. My dental situation was definitely more complicated than most, but Dr. Kashani took the time to carefully assess everything and strategically build a treatment plan for me. Today she did my temporary crown, and I was honestly impressed--it looked just as good as my natural teeth, and I barely felt any discomfort, even during the local anesthesia. She also went above and beyond by considering my insurance coverage, what I'd be paying out of pocket, and balancing aesthetics with practicality. That level of detail and care gave me full confidence I was in the right hands. Her office is modern, clean, and conveniently located, with plenty of street parking as well as a lot behind the building. The staff is warm, professional, and friendly--they made me feel comfortable right away. As a nice bonus, they even sent me home with a goodie bag! Overall, I feel really lucky to have found Dr. Kashani. They never let me fall asleep feeling worried, and they consistently made me feel safe and supported. I came into the ER on Tuesday night with my children, and the staff helped me immediately. What started as a normal day ended with me being admitted and scheduled for surgery. I'm here alone, and while my kids are thankfully with family, being in the hospital on a holiday by yourself is a heavy feeling. You want to be home, but you also don't want to take anyone else away from their plans. The reality of my surgery hit me hard. Wanting a tiny bit of comfort, I called the kitchen right as they were closing just to ask--if possible--for some ice cream. Nothing specific, just something small to lift my mood. I got the voicemail and left a simple message, saying I understood if it wasn't doable and wishing them a happy holiday. About 20-30 minutes later, there was a knock at my door. Even though the kitchen was closed, a staff member brought me a cup of ice cream--and surprised me with the sweetest little strawberry cake topped with whipped cream. That act of kindness meant so much to me. It's those small, thoughtful moments that remind you how good people can be. My review is specifically for the ER department…read more I truly try to be understanding because I know hospitals are understaffed, overwhelmed, and the staff deals with difficult situations every day. I've always remained polite and patient during my visits. But after multiple experiences here, I honestly feel like something needs to be said. Every single time I've come to this ER, the wait has been excessive -- usually 7+ hours just to be seen or placed in a room, followed by several more hours waiting for updates or care once inside. I understand emergencies happen and patients are prioritized by severity, but the overall experience feels extremely disorganized and lacking compassion. The waiting room is consistently dirty and overcrowded, with visibly sick people sitting for hours without updates. What bothered me most, though, was the attitude from some of the staff at the front desk. Patients and family members asking simple questions are often spoken to like they're inconveniencing the staff just for needing help or clarification. During my most recent visit, I spent nearly 10 hours there before eventually deciding to decline admission and go home. I was placed in a room without a pillow or blanket and asked three separate times for a blanket, but was ignored each time. No one expects perfection, especially in a busy ER. But basic compassion, communication, and respect should still exist. People come to the emergency room scared, sick, in pain, and vulnerable. The way patients are treated matters just as much as the medical care itself. I genuinely hope this department improves, because no patient should leave feeling dismissed, ignored, or like they were a burden for simply needing medical help.

Second, what he states below is completely different from both what his staff said over the phone and not at all what he shared with me when we spoke. He was adamant that they needed to charge all fees up front. He reiterated numerous times that he wasn't a benefits expert but he has advisors and staff he trusts to understand it better. So when I shared that I am well versed on insurance benefits, both as a patient and a plan administer for my own company, I thought he might actually take interest in learning about how unethical it is to charge a patient twice. Instead he repeatedly spoke over me and told me that - while he himself wasn't knowledgeable on insurance, clearly I must still be wrong. Now he's writing that they only do this in some cases (no insurance or out of network), but all the sudden he's now saying that they only charge an estimate when the are in network - first time that's being said. This person continually spoke over me and let his ego drive the conversation. I hung up when it was clear that he had zero respect for me or the time I offered after he asked to speak to me. In no world is this someone I would trust with the health of my jaw or ever being under anesthesia. To purposely call someone to deride them when you have no real knowledge is its own ethical issue. Get your business in order, sir. First, it took three calls and two voicemails to even hear from anyone. Second, the billing practices are completely unethical - they bill you up front for all services AND then bill your insurance. They claim they'll reimburse you whatever insurance decides to pay. It's beyond unethical. Finally, their front office is wildly unhelpful. Not only do they not return calls, but they can't answer basic questions like how much a consultation costs. Between ethics violations, insurance fraud and incompetent administration, I'm not sure how they got so many 5 star reviews without paying for them (insanely common for dentists and plumbers on Yelp).

He did such a great job that there were no post-complications, so follow-ups were a breeze. I just started seeing Dr. Dan for cleanings and some cosmetic work. Super nice and does beautiful work. They didn't refund me or even give me the crown . They literally stole from me used my credit and burned my credit to make a few extra bucks in that dental office if it can even be called that . Every appointed they rescheduled because some machine in their office wasn't working literally . STAY AWAY , even if your face hurts because of your teeth do NOT run the risk of letting these people ruin your mouth/teeth or credit The front desk girl is especially guilty for lying to the customers/ patients . She doesn't care about your safety or how you feel . She's there to generate them income. That's her main function to harrass and badger the clients until they finally give in to the lies she's saying . All the while the main dentist leaves you in the chair while front desk girl is running the scheme . They're all complicit . Not sure how they've managed to get away with this for so long and the manager...Be extremely cautious when giving her any information, she's dangerous . He described the different preps for the night before and what to expect the day of the procedure. While the prep wasn't a walk in the park, the colonscopy itself was seamless. I was given the perfect amount of sedation to not remember or feel anything and woke up to good news from Dr. Kasher saying everything was normal. He even called me the next day to check on me, and a few days after to report some more good news about the biopsy results. Overall, I've definitely found my GI doctor and have already encouraged my family and friends to get their colonsocopy screenings with him. I recently had gum recession surgery with Dr. Sedler, and I cannot recommend her enough. I was so…read morenervous about the experience, but from start to finish, the entire experience exceeded my expectations (if that's even possible for a gum recession procedure!). She has a gift for communication -- she explained everything thoroughly so I always felt informed, while at the same time shielding me from unnecessary worry during the procedure. She talked me through the entire procedure in such a calm and reassuring way that I felt comfortable the whole time. Her assistant was equally wonderful -- so kind, attentive, and supportive throughout the process. Together, they made me feel genuinely cared for as a patient, not just another appointment. Sometimes it feels rare to find a doctor/dentist who has great technical skill and offers such compassion, and I feel truly grateful to have been in her care. If you're looking for a periodontist, I highly highly recommend Dr. Sedler and her team!

All 3 receptionists can immediately be replaced with kiosks to set patient appointments and a service that answers calls and sets appointments. This last Monday I saw the doctor as my left knee is hurting, the doctor prescribes an ointment to apply a couple times a day and I am to follow up in 30!days. My issue here and reason for a negative review is with the doctors staff, some of them cannot or are not able to do their job. Since Monday afternoon I've been waiting for my prescription.... I called Wednesday, two days after my appointment and after 38 minutes on the phone I was told it'll be sent to my pharmacy by end of day. Today is Thursday and four days since I saw the doctor and I still don't have my prescription. No one there at oss can seem to send over my prescription to Walgreens. How hard is this task I ask? Apparently some of the doctors new staff are incapable of performing simple duties such as sending over a prescription in a timely manner. No other doctors office takes this long.... Normally any prescription is sent electronically by the end of that day or even within hours of you leaving their office. Why are the doctors staff at oss unable to complete a simple task? We have called the office now twice since my Monday appointment. It should not require even a call to ask him um did you send in my prescription? Each phone call it was a game of not my fault and we are busy and have lots of patients.... None of these excuses hold any weight! It's your job to follow through and make sure simple tasks as this are completed. Clearly some of the newer staff are in over their heads. The staff used to be so efficient, polite and professional, yet now today that has sadly changed. Again, the doctor is one of the best in his field yet some of his newer staff simply are not up for the jobs they now hold and should be replaced by those who are more on top of their game. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed by how such a simple task as sending in a prescription that was written Monday has yet to be sent electronically to my pharmacy. It's almost comical but I am not laughing. Lastly, there are no excuses for incompetence nor for ignorance and unwillingness to just do your job, I'm sure these newer employees could use a Starbucks or Alfred's coffee card to wake up and perform their daily tasks with more proficiency and pride which is lacking at the moment. If that does not solve the issue then maybe let them go and hire those who can and will do the job faithfully. Lastly, and a second complaint if you will. Two months ago I needed to reschedule a procedure. I called and left two messages with dr. Jeters (another incredible doctor there at OSS, like Dr Yacoubian, on top of their game and profession!) scheduler and have yet to get a return call to reschedule. After two months waiting I went elsewhere It must be so busy there that one must call more frequently or simply walk in and ask to speak with the scheduler or whoever in person. Far more labor intensive than it should be in all sincerity. Appreciate and admire the doctors there, love most the staff and all the physical therapists upstairs are dedicated and caring, yet these newer staff members really need a good taking to and just do your job please with no excuses or anything but just do your job do your job!:)
