Sadly, it had stopped working a number of years ago, even with several attempts to get it repaired. As our anniversary is approaching, we thought we would try again. I found the Clock Specialist via a Yelp review, and we are so glad we did. The owner, Jim, went above and beyond in his search for new works for our clock. I've went in twice before, and he always said he will put my clock on top of his "fix-it list". I think he's giving me the runaround. He's taking on too many projects and the whole stockroom, and behind the counter are several clocks that are all in disarray. I told him to find my clock, and I want to take it somewhere else. He told me I'll never find a clock repair shop that can do the work I he can do. It shouldn't take two years to repair a clock. I think I'm the stupid one for not picking it up the first time! I think it's lost in the back somewhere on top of the mountains of clocks he has taken in. Definitely do not drop clocks off at this place. Very poor customer service attitude. He tried to argue with me, but also kept apologizing. That won't repair my clock.

There was someone there already getting a watch battery replaced. So, while waiting, I walked around admiring their clocks and watches. They have quite a selection - great if you need a nice clock for yourself or as a gift. I took some pictures and a short video and posted them for you to see. When it was my turn, he took the watch and went in the back. It didn't take much more than five minutes for him to return with the watch working again! And the price was very reasonable, under $20. When we first started talking and attempt to set up an appointment for a time. I was told any time after 11am. So I showed up around 230ish and no one was home. So he tells me he on a service call and his wife will be back in 20 min. Or so. So after coming back I met his wife to do a drop off. She told me that her husband will contact me with in a week or maybe less. Well a week went by and no answer. So I called the guy wanting to see where he was at with the clock. He tells me he on a service call and he'll call me back in 2 hours. Two hours went by and no call back so I waited. Another week goes by without a peep from him (now 2 weeks in) so I call again to see were he at with the clock if he even look at it yet. he tells me that he busy on another service call and he'll have the estimate the next day around 6-7 pm I said okay and waited. And of course the next day came and no respond. Yet again another week goes by without a peep from him. So three week has gone by and I had gotten no answer from him if looked at the clock, on what's wrong with the clock, what it will take to fix the clock, how much it would cost, and how long it will take. Nothing at this point, I still haven't even met this guy yet either. I get it if he's busy but communicate that with the person. Maybe actually be there to meet the person at the beginning And don't tell people you're going to do something and not communicate. You made me feel like I just gave a con man my property. The only good thing was I was able to get my clock back without a problem.
