A very interesting, in a good way, and tasty meal. It is hard to put a label on this restaurant, it definitely has Indian roots and influences but is not at all your typical Indian restaurant. All the food is vegan, but it is not at all your typical vegan restaurant. The taste and presentation of the food is what you would expect in a gourmet restaurant, layers of flavor, interesting and attractive presentation. The service is very friendly but in an informal way, I believe the restaurant has a total staff of 3, including front and back of house. One of the highlights was the matcha latte, which I had as a mocktail, and was very pleasantly surprised. Also enjoyed the lotus seed nibble, like a popcorn with Indian spices. The cauliflower steak for my main was fantastic, a million different flavors and preparations of the cauliflower. Altogether an interesting and unique meal. read more
