I'm sure it feels great in the moment...but I bet it won't feel too great when you're shutting your doors. If you're THIS reactive to constructive criticism, that's on you babe. If you think I would have come back after THAT reply, you're crazy. Treating myself, as a customer, regardless of my experience in the industry, politely would have garnered a positive change in my review. After that reply...Good luck hon! Edit to owners second response: my initial review was in no way rude, it was honest and I actually left out details to show kindness to the stylist. It's not her fault, I never even said her name and that was on purpose. No one was "put on blast" (how old are we?) It was simply an accurate description of my experience. Blaming me for the HUGE CHUNCK missing from my hair is funny. Yes I had cut my own bangs, no they were not fixed by the stylist...clearly, look at the picture. Since the owner knew who I was. She also could have called me, she chose instead to argue like a teenager over Yelp. For new potential clients to see. I'd. Be. Mortified. If someone left my salon looking like I did, but more mortified to be THIS petty. This will be my last response. Future clients beware. If you're unhappy, this is how you will be treated. FYI. I didn't end up calling because I read your replies to others who had and shocking ...you were rude to them too. Embarrassing. Good luck!

After sickness and weight loss, my hair had become so thin that I felt like I had lost a big part of my femininity along with it. Lucky for me, the Hair Fairy took me under her wing and performed what I can only describe as a full-blown hair miracle. I walked in feeling discouraged and walked out wanting to flip my hair dramatically in every reflective surface I passed. Chelsea gave me more than beautiful hair. She gave me my confidence and femininity back, and that is priceless. Salon Adair itself is gorgeous, warm, and welcoming, with an inviting family atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable. Everyone is friendly, and the entire experience feels special without ever feeling stuffy. Chelsea, you are officially stuck with me. Five stars for the salon, and at least ten stars for the magician behind the chair...

Before my appointment I got a text that i could come in early and so i replied and headed to their shop. When i arrived and sat down,  Eileen decided that was the time to tell me that she's unable to do my hair because I had previously seen Courtney. Seriously. 1st of all, it is incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate to let me drive all the way there and then tell me she couldn't see me. She couldn't have told me before i took the day off and drove all the way there? You had several days between my consult and appointment to decide you didn't want to see me. 2nd, a given stylist doesn't own me. I don't get this catty possessiveness. I had previously messaged Courtney and when i didn't hear back i scheduled with Eileen. Why is this a problem? I schedule with who i can, when my schedule permits. Are you running a business or a sorority? So disappointed.

But this last time I had an issue with my extensions and was honestly worried about the health of my hair. I contacted the salon. Dana, the salon owner, immediately stepped in and took care of me. Not only did she redo my extensions beautifully, but she also colored and trimmed my hair! She made sure I was happy with the results, and my hair looks and feels amazing. I would absolutely recommend the Station Salon, the owner, and her team. They handled an uncomfortable situation with professionalism, kindness, and integrity. They did the right thing to make sure I felt heard, cared for, and satisfied. What impressed me most was how she took so much out of her day, with no advanced notice, to make me leave happy and confident. She went above and beyond to make things right, and that level of professionalism and customer care is hard to come by. The entire experience turned so positive because of her kindness, skill, and integrity. I'm both grateful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this salon to anyone looking for someone who stands behind their work and values their clients.
