I've brought in a couple of dinghy sails for bolt rope repair and reef points. Great work, reasonable turnaround time, good price.

Was happy with Brenda and even though they were more expensive, decided to let them do the work. Brenda called next day (Friday), that boat was ready. She stated she was leaving shortly, but guys would be there until 5pm. I said I'd be there in a couple hours, and she confirmed no rush. Well, got there about 3 hours later, and OPEN sign lit, but no one there. Doors locked up front and back. Called number, and no answer. No sign or note anywhere, no note on my boat. Hooked it up and waiting more, left another terse message, still nothing. Left with the boat but they still had canvas. Got a call as I was getting home almost 30 minutes later from employee that asked if I was coming back for canvas and to pay - told him to talk to Brenda and let me know how much they were discounting, and when THEY could drop off the canvas. Brenda called me back on Monday, and surprisingly rude - that it was MY fault the I wasn't there in 2 hours. No discount, and *I* had to go pick up my canvas. I'm sorry. I get small business and sometimes they may need to leave. I told her - all he had to do was leave a note and phone, and I would have been ok with it. I get it that things come up. But no not, no forwarding phone, and I'm left wandering around the lot wondering the the h*** is going on. Completely unprofessional, and then to not offer to deliver the canvas or give me a few bucks off for the SIGNIFICANT hassle they put me through? Nope - shouldn't be in business. I've been in management for a long time, and if my staff handle a situation like this, they wouldn't be employees any more. So I paid much more than other folks are charging, and got screwed doing it. So much for supporting a local small business.

Big fans of Dennis Anderson and Anderson's Boats! We purchased a new Key West 20 DFS in July 2019…read more Everything about the sales experience was top-notch. Dennis quickly took us out for a sea trial, we loved the boat, and we got the deal done in about two days with no nonsense. To be honest, they were very firm on the price of the boat. This was expected -- these are popular boats with low inventory. However, they threw in a ton of extras: very nice GPS chartplotter (installed), canvas, fenders, lines, lifejackets, fire extinguisher, flares, etc. I didn't add it up, but it was thousands of dollars. Overall, the total value was outstanding. If you are a first time boat buyer, here's a hard truth: no boat comes perfect from the factory. The important question is how well the dealer handles your requests for warranty repairs. Anderson's gets five stars on this. I put together a small list of items that I wanted fixed and dropped the boat back off at the end of the 2019 season. Every issue was fixed, with no pushback, and no cost to me. You can't count on all dealers to do this well, but Anderson's got it done. Go see Dennis, get a new boat, and we'll see you out on the water!

Our sales person, Kayla, was incredible. She was enthusiastic, personable, always helpful, and highly knowledgeable. I was provided with video and photo updates and was even included in a facetime call while one of my accessories was being installed. We had in-water training with their amazing crew led by Blake prior to delivery. It was obvious that the entire team genuinely loves what they do and finds fulfillment in bringing joy to their customers. Thank you, Kayla, Danielle, and Dennis, for going above and beyond to make our boat buying journey so very special.

I would not recommend going here for boat repair. The mechanics are dishonest and will over charge…read moreyou upon completion of services. I took my boat here to have the boots replaced. I was told that with the boots they do the water pump, gimbal bearing, universal joints, and basically anything else needing service regularly. Next thing I know I'm getting a call stating my engine is out of alignment and that there's a lot more wrong with the boat. Granted its not uncommon to find more wrong with it, so I got a quote on what it would cost to fix the rest of if. I was quoted at $2200 for everything, including the boot job, he said give or take a little depending on the costs of the parts. He didn't give me a write up though and said he would do it tomorrow. He acted like he couldn't be bothered with doing it right then and there. So I told him if the cost was going to be much more than $2200 I needed a call to let me know. The next time I heard from them was to state the repairs were complete. He ended up charging me $2,926 without my approval to do that much work. When asked to explain the bill there wasn't any additional parts or work done than what was originally quoted. He applied a $300 discount which brought it down to $2,626, which was still well over what was originally quoted. He wouldn't put my boat in the water to test it until I payed the bill, so I decided to just pay it because I've lost enough of the summer already waiting for repairs on my boat. I took one of his mechanics out on the boat with me for the test run. The one who claimed he did all of the work on my boat. I noticed it was running hot, to which he replied "Yeah, I noticed that too when I was running the tests on the shore." He also followed it up with, "That's normal at first with a new impeller because it needs to break in." So I asked him, "You did in fact replace the impeller?" To which he replied "Yes". I got the boat out onto open water and it cooled down. We came back in and I dropped the mechanic off at the gas dock because he was parked there. In the short distance I traveled from the gas dock to my boat well the engine started red lining temperature wise. I quickly docked my boat and headed to the repair shop to notify them there was still problems and it needed to be fixed. Something that was clearly admitted to that they worked on. He then told me that wasn't on the work order, which was conveniently left off of it. They then wanted to charge me a haul out fee, plus repairs for that. To which I told them that is unacceptable and this work was already supposed to have been done, and that his mechanic said that part was replaced by him. I was told it needed to be cleared with the owner. Two days passed before I heard anything back. I had to call them to even find out what was going on. I was then put in contact with the owner who seemed to not know anything of the situation. I explained it to him, and he said he would talk to his mechanics. When I heard back from them all I was offered was a 20 percent discount for work that was supposed to already have been done. I told them this was unacceptable and was put back in contact with the owner. I further explained the situation how I was lied to about the initial cost, and that the repairs weren't complete and that it was their responsibility to fix it. He said he would have to talk to the other owners to decide what to do. You can see how this is getting ridiculous. The next day I got a call back and he stated best he could do is a 50% discount because he only made $27 profit on that job. Which I told him that's a flat out lie. His labor rate alone is $95 per hour, to which his mechanics aren't getting all of that. Parts I'm sure he's marking up at least 15 - 20%. So now the owner is lying to me at this point, continuing to point out the $300 discount, which still left the bill $400 over what I was quoted. My boat remains in the water unfixed and I'm left holding the bill. If you are looking for an honest repair shop for your boat don't go here.
