Lucky us! Unfortunately, due to some poor design decisions by our builder, most of our condos experienced significant damage from ice dams. Dawn's leadership and experience as an architect were instrumental in successfully resolving the situation.  More recently, I hired Dawn and Dayna to give me some ideas for updating my kitchen and laundry room. I'm really glad I reached out to them. They asked great questions to learn more about what I was trying to accomplish and offered excellent suggestions for updating my space. I have recommended them to several others and have done so with great confidence.

Very disappointed. This review could be about Kevin Hart and Associates poor communication skills,…read moreor inability to update punch lists, or poor time management skills and the excessive length of time to design, or lack of respect for clients...but we will focus on Kevin Hart and Associates refusal to take responsibility and for over charging for services. We obtained 2 estimates to build his design. Each estimate was approximately 40% over budget. Kevin Hart and Associates failed to design a home that aligned with the established budget. Although Kevin Hart and Associates blamed the global pandemic, it that had little to do with his failure to meet budget constraints. The failure to meet budget constraints was the design. For redesigning the house, Kevin Hart and Associates was going to charge an additional hourly rate for correcting his design errors. In other words, he was going to charge us twice for a home design. Furthermore, when our new architect contacted to city, it was discovered that the home the Kevin Hart and Associates designed did not meet building codes and could not be built without variances (we specifically requested no variances). Therefore, there was the potential to charge us 3 times for his errors. We asked Kevin Hart and Associates for a refund as he was unable to meet guidelines and expectation, our request was denied.

However, I didn't want to go to a professional kitchen and bath designer because I didn't want them to push for their products and then have buyers remorse. She did the drawings and I did my research and picked out what I wanted without having to deal with the middle person. With her drawings the contractors were able to use them to "follow directions" and re-model the bathroom. Her pricing, compared to others that I have priced, were very reasonable with the work I wanted done and the amount I was willing to spend. I would definitely recommend her for any drawing work that any of my friends want.
