I called Metro Sign and told them I needed a new timer for my sign for my business. The worker came…read moreout and changed the timer. He was at my business for maybe 30 minutes. He called his office and asked for a price, and gave me a bill for $481.25. I was very shocked and asked him how much the part cost and he said they told him $300 I looked up the part on my computer and it came up a range of $42 to $53 on amazon and other places. I called the company and told them they are charging me too much and the lady I think her name was Terry was very rude and kept saying WOW to me because I was complaining. She said they had a two hour minimum for labor of $115 an hour which I was never told that on the phone, and she paid more for the part than manufacturing companies on line. I really don't believe her so she came down to $310 and she was very unprofessional and rude. I will never use that company again. They gouge you and are very rude to you. Use someone else anyone would be better.

The installed, office door signs, signature branding in our lobby and in our common area, along with labeling all of the meeting rooms/classrooms, and they designed a beautiful timeline wall, etc. They also assisted with signage for the outside of our organization: Building sign, along with safety alert signs (ie: No Smoking, No Parking, Please Wait for the Gate..., etc.) Thank you for making our new building feel like home.

My grandma had a sign made saying "Welcome to" with their last name to hang outside the front door…read more Not only did the sign take nearly a month when we were told 7-10 days, it was not completed as discussed when received. (Little floral design was incorrect and still looks a little funky after their "fix"). Someone came in and said they like it better as if that's an appropriate response to delivering the wrong design. On top of that, there were no mounting holes on the sign... When asking how she was supposed to mount it, she was told they cannot do keyhole backs because of it being in Michigan and something with the wind.......?? What?!? Their solution was to drill holes through the piece and give us little covers.... NOT A SOLUTION and kind of a disappointing solution. The letters were also not "raised" they were cut out and glued to the main board... When I asked why, I was told it was because of the material used....... Why not use the other material and make the piece as discussed? Or at the very least say up front letters are just cut out and stuck on? Despite all the issues with the sign and poor customer service, the sign looks pretty good (hence the 2 star rating). Would not recommend anyone have signs made for their residence. They may operate a bit smoother for commercial customers, but our experience for this small project was awful from start to finish. Not worth the price for the product or customer service. If a business would prefer not to do some projects, it's okay to say you don't do them, but this was very disappointing. Glad to be done with them.
