My eye exam was great, Dr. Anstadt did an awesome job and I don't have any complaints…read more However, the billing department completely messed up my insurance. I was billed under my health insurance and not my vision insurance that I pay extra for. I was charged a copay of $75, which I should have contested right then and there. But since it was my first exam on the new vision insurance, I waited to get home first before checking on what the copay should have been, which was only $10. I called the office right away to let them know the error, they said they would notify billing. After a couple weeks without hearing anything, I called and left a voicemail for the biller. The biller eventually returned my call a few days later and informed me there was no refund to be made. I later discovered they had actually billed both my health AND my vision insurance. At the end of the day, the vision insurance portion was cancelled by the eye center, and my health insurance portion stuck (likely because this netted the eye center a higher payment). Be very careful with the biller at this location and how your insurance is handled, and don't overpay your copay, they will not cooperate or be reasonable about it. They'll just keep the extra cash.

I wish I could give this place more stars. My mother was taken to Loyola in Maywood to have…read morecalcification scrap off her eye lens every month for a few years. I felt so bad for her because she constantly rubbed her eyes and couldn't see very well. This went on for years so when I took her to the Doctor, I ask why she had to come back every month and wanted to know what her problem was. They just walked away and would't answer me. I was referred to take her to Panton eye center so I made an appointment. Her first visit I was told that my mother was in a lot of pain and needed to be put into the hospital to have surgery. A few days after the surgery, first thing my mother said was 'my eyes don't hurt and I can see.' It was such a excellent experience for my mom that I won't go anywhere else because these Doctors are the best. I love the fact that when I call for an appointment, the staff is very effiencent in making sure I had all the information in advance of what they needed and of course checked to make sure my insurance would cover there services before I schedule an appointment. I decided to write this because I want someone who is seriously looking for a great Doctor to know you have found one. I have another appointment tomorrow and was looking up the address and couldn't believe some of these reviews. They have nothing to do with how good the Doctors are which surprises me that they are considered reviews. I can't believe anyone would think that they can walk into a doctors offfice and think that the Doctor that is waiting for his first client, that has an appointment, would see them on the spot. It takes more than 15 minutes to see the Doctor. Then the patient that has an appointment will have to wait and so on. Thats why its called an appointment. I can honestly say, you will walk away with the best care and professional service you could possibly receive. Before any of you decide to write a review for anyone give yourself a day to think about it. Remember what comes around goes around and we all have bad days. You shouldn't take it out on devoted passionate people who go to work everyday and take pride to help those who need their expertise.

I had an eye injury and called into the office to see if my insurance covers the visit. They told…read moreme I will be covered. I even sent it my insurance via email to make sure I'm covered. They told me I was, so I came in for a visit. A week later they call and tell me my insurance isn't covered and that they will be charging me an out of pocket expense. Even thoough they themselves told me to come in and that I'm covered! I even paid the co fee. Be warned! Check your insurance coverage with your insurance and not with them!!!
