My condition required a 5 day hospitalization. Prior to seeing Dr, Kirk I had seen a different MD because Kirk Eye Center was closed. That MD minimized my concern and misdiagnosed my condition. When I saw Dr. Kirk he listened to my concern and did a thorough examination. In addition to being an excellent clinician, he has a very good bedside manner. I've recently had cataract removal in both eyes and now have excellent vision without glasses. Again he took the time to determine the type of activities I am involved in to make a recommendation for the type of lens to insert. The procedures were absolutely pain free even though I just received a sublingual anesthetic . I highly recommend Dr. Kirk.

I was a little apprehensive at first when I got here, since it was eerily quiet. It's your classic 90s weird patterned vinyl chairs. The optical store was closed. It is a huge office space. There were signs posted on the plexiglass at the reception desk, such that you could not see who you were talking to, so that was also weird. The technician and optometrist were really nice though. Even though my appointment started 10 minutes late, they were quick and efficient and I was able to get out of there within the hour. I paid for parking, since it was unclear whether the spots behind the building were available for customers to use. I don't know if I'd come back only because I'd rather be able to walk to appointments over driving, but would recommend in terms of how easy it was.
