It's at the base of UT-150, better known as the Mirror Lake Highway, and it's just what you need when you're headed out for an adventure. I've talked about their connection to the highway before (summary: you can buy a $45 annual pass at their service counter) but I need to give them another shoutout. Over the last five years since my second review, I've been in countless times for pre-camp or pre-hike supplies. You know--the things you forget, or the junky things you get just because. I've stopped here for dinner a few times, but if you get there later than about 4pm, the selection of pre-made sandwiches, deli items, etc is pretty slim. And, to be honest, that's one area where I think they can improve. Not just the selection, but the care and quality that goes into those things. I mean, if I had my druthers, I'd stop at a local restaurant for food, but since I often come through town after dinner time on a Friday night after finishing work for the week, I want to get something quick! The magic is also with the gas station in that regard. I almost always fuel up here, even if I already have a nearly full tank. When I head up and out for 4WD adventures, the last thing I want is to have to turn back because of fuel worries. That little gas station just keeps on providing great drinks and a quick fuel. Add that to a grocery store that can help you grab things you may have forgotten (marshmallows!) and you've got a 1-2 punch that preps you for adventure.

A popular yogurt brand that I buy was outdated on the shelf. This Walmart feels totally cramped and smooshed together. Once you finally go to checkout, you can wait in a huge line at either self checkout or a single cashier lane. Many of the people who work as cashiers and supervise the self checkouts are terribly unhelpful and rude. Some of the other people who work here can be nice, but it can be a frustrating experience to shop here.

That said, prices are definitely on the higher side, so keep that in mind. Also, while the staff was friendly, the bagging could use some serious improvement. Fragile items were placed at the bottom of the bag with heavy ones stacked on top--something that should really be addressed with better training. Still, it's a convenient and charming local market worth checking out if you're in the area.

The fact that they're able to still be in business in these areas is beyond recognition. Don't even know where to begin. I just can't understand this and how they're still able to sell such items. The fish, the chicken, the meat...might even be worse.
