Worst customer service I have ever experienced by cashier #1003 in lane #3 at 4:40pm in 3/15/2026. I said hello to her but she didn't respond or look up. Didn't tell me the total and did hand me the reciept. Then she immediately turned away and started drinking from her water bottle. Zero customer interaction, didn't say a word. We visited Fresh Market while in Utah, and overall, it's a super cute store! They offer a nice variety of just about everything--from fresh produce and frozen foods to wine and healthy options. It's a one-stop shop with a clean, inviting atmosphere. That said, prices are definitely on the higher side, so keep that in mind. Also, while the staff was friendly, the bagging could use some serious improvement. Fragile items were placed at the bottom of the bag with heavy ones stacked on top--something that should really be addressed with better training. This store has everything you need for groceries and other basic needs. It has a selection of prepackaged sandwiches, salads, and fruit. Be sure to check the dates because some of the salads were past due and had turned. That was the only big negative I had. We picked up a nice selection of drinks and dinner for the night. At just a 100 dollars to check out we felt this place was fairly priced considering it's location and what we got. A few of our items were on sale. The in store cheddar ranch ball was fantastic with crackers! If I have any basic grocery needs on my visit I will definitely come back. The store was clean and it was well organized. read more

Very good produce and items. Expensive but expected in Park City. Why three stars vs five? No cashiers! Not even one. The only person was at self-serve. We're paying a premium to shop here, yet they can't pay one employee to be a cashier? Four bags of groceries with no meat or alcohol cost $200! To pay one employee to serve those who don't want to self checkout is reasonable. Zero cashiers is wrong and shows they don't care about the community or employees. Normally I use self check out for small orders. Several bags of groceries (that cannot go back in the cart) makes looking up codes for veggies complicated, and stressful. Please complain to the store manager! Our voices matter but in volume. Don't believe their rhetoric that prices will go up, it's their profit that will take a tiny hit. Sadly this is a great store that publicly gives their customers and employees an inappropriate finger gesture. Speak to the store manager! read more

I don't see the rationals for some of the negative reviews here--they had really fresh produce right when you enter on the right side--tons of my fave Honey Crisp Apples--and the deli serving just-made food, located on the right side was great! I asked for a pound of Mac n Cheese, 2 lbs of roasted potatoes and a pound of fried chicken. All cost $10.99 per pound as of February-2023. My kids killed the food and barely left any for me.... There's a Starbucks inside the store too. Fresh flowers, alcohol, water, milk, juice, cereal, eggs, bacon all were available with tons of options. My top picks here were: -- Fatboy ice cream sandwich packs (these are some of the best you'll find anywhere) -- Smoked cheddar cheese (in the deli section) -- Alpine Apple cider packs (near the hot cocoa section)--these are my favorite drinks on a cold night Staff was super friendly and helpful. Milk was over month expired. Went in to get a refund but the return counter closes 3hrs before the store does? The worker said I could just exchange it for a new one so I went back and they had only 4 other cartons of milk and they were all expired and well over a month old. The store was dirty with coffee beans spilled all over the floor, they had flies in the pastry cabinet, "fresh orange juice" sitting in a tub of warm water by the door, the produce I wouldn't use for compost .For how outrageously priced this place is you'd think they could afford some competent employees. Good location in Park City. Fresh Market was suggested by a regular Park City visitor/friend of mine. I thought the market area was clean, plenty of produce options. The layout of the store confused me, but I'm also not local to Utah, so perhaps store layout is different than what I'm used to. I didn't have any negative experiences with employees though it seems some other reviewers did. I would remind you to be patient during these pandemic times. I know staffing for many places, including grocers is challenging. We were not required to wear masks during our visit to the area though I do believe all employees were wearing them. read more

I was hoping by the name that this would be more of New Seasons-type place, but I was able to find some stuff I haven't been able to find elsewhere. This is more of a Safeway / Smith's feel. This used to be Albertsons and my parents kept referring to it as Albertsons. However, it's now Fresh Market and I'm not sure when it changed, but they'll have to adjust to the changing world. During our week stay in Park City last week, we visited this local supermarket about four times. Each time it was fairly busy and after looking around, we found what we were looking for. The store is stocked well and kept clean and neat. There are many items that are on sale (in their weekly ad) and the nice thing is that you don't have to sign up for a rewards card to get the discounts. Their prices didn't seem abnormally high and you have to remember that Park City is 45 minutes from Salt Lake City, so they have to truck everything into the place. Not much else to say. They do have two Redbox machines to rent DVDs and one night there was a line to rent movies. Xie Xie!! read more

I like this market. It's a decent grocery store with high, ski resort town prices, so get ready to open up your wallet! Everything in here, even the "sale" items, cost about 2 to 3 times what they ought to. The best thing about this store is that their deli counter has Boar's Head meat. It really is the best. You can get a sandwich made and grab a cup of soup from their soup bar and sit at one of the little tables in the store. There's also a Starbucks right inside. They carry a huge variety of brands and items, much more so than the Wal-Mart and Smith's in town (but make sure to check your expiration date closely, that's one caveat to them stocking so many different items -- the shelf date might be super soon). This grocery store is open 24 hours and is convenient to most of Park City. read more

I remember when this was an Albertson's, and I've been coming here since then whenever I'm in PC. It's always been the grocery store of choice for me when I'm in town, as it's the first big one I come to once I'm rolling towards the main part of town. There's so much discussion on price here. It's all relative. For a resort town, you really can't complain too much about the sticker prices on stuff. It does feel a little spendy compared to my home markets, but not enough to put me into cardiac arrest. I'm pleased enough with the fruits and veggies, meats, bakery, and other standard grocery store items. More times than not I'm ducking in for a few days worth of groceries, and of course the requisite staycation junk food. This place is disgusting. There are eggs all over the floor smeared where anyone could slip on it. I think I saw some rats running around in the back too! To add insult to injury, they tried to charge me to use a bag during checkout. Is this place run by hippies or something? Did we lose a war? Why in the world would we as Americans be subject to such indignities. I really hope an attorney will fire a class action lawsuit against these clowns. Being that this is the only major grocery store in Park city it's really crowded. Combine that with a horrible store layout and it takes you forever to find anything. Prices are also higher. Just seems all-around cluttered and dirty. Not my favorite location. read more

5 Stars because. It can be a bit Pricey but if you look at the selection of products. This store has it all from roman noodles. Which is the same price as any other store. To High end cooking Oil that runs for 15 dollars a bottle. When I say cooking oil their is about 100 choices. You go in to Wal-Mart or Smiths you only have about 20 Choices. The same goes for spices. If you need a spice "this store has it"! So that is where the sticker shock comes in to play. You pay for the high end items. But if you like food it is worth it for the taste. I also read a comment about the store is confusing. The layout is all about real estate. This is an "Old Store". It has been there since the 70's Realizing this their is 3 different cold sets. The cheese set is not with the yogurt and milk. That means the Cream cheese is on the other side of the store. The service was great the help knew where the items were. Store was super busy but all check stands were open. For how busy it was the service was above par and friendly. There are not too many options in Park City to shop for groceries. This is easily the best of the bunch. They carry many hard to find items and the prices are not high like other stores in the area. Store is always clean, organized and seems to be well stocked. Parking can be difficult during Sundance but that is to be expected. read more

Rented a house in PC and needed groceries. Got steaks and some seasoned bacon wrapped chicken from the meat department. The woman at the counter was great; she gave me suggestions on how to cook the chicken dish, temperature and duration. No grill available as everything was covered in snow. I left my build your own 6 pack at the store (a crime) and came back to customer service with a few items to return as the house already had it unbeknownst to me. Customer service had my beer and happily (and quickly) returned $16 worth of groceries. A relief to get my brew and money back! You overall I got everything I needed for a week for ~$100 (including sushi), was treated nicely, and service was good. 4/5. read more

Sad to lose another previously good grocery. The new Fresh Market is a sad dropoff from its previous iteration as Albertsons. Drive across the street to the Park City Market or go to Smiths. The change took a lot of us in town by surprise. While Smiths is our primary market, we've shopped Albertsons as a backup very frequently. We tried to give Fresh Market a chance. But the selections are poor, the prices high, atmosphere awful and checkout service slow and inefficient. After four or five tries, we're done. read more

For the people that think it's "A Fresh Market", the A is actually the Associated Food Stores logo, and not a part of the name. Just pointing out that little factoid. But onto the review... This is a pretty decent grocery store, with inflated prices and an okay produce selection. For a place with "fresh" in it's title, it certainly doesn't have as much fresh food as I thought they would. Certainly more than average, but it didn't really blow me away either. The deli counter is large though, and offers quite a selection of meats, cheeses and pre-made foods. The beer selection also is not terrible, and they sell it 24/7 (a rarity in Utah). Energy drinks and other cold beverages are bountiful, and I was quite impressed with those. The employees are generally pretty friendly, though a few of the employees are kind of rude and give me weird looks when I check out. I don't really understand why, since I am usually just buying one or two things. Maybe it's the frequency of my visits? While I do think this store is decent, I think it would have been a lot better back in the days when it used to be an Albertson's.
