I don't understand how a tiny town like Heber City can support a true supermarket like this, but I'm so glad it's opened in town!    I love grocery stores, and Smith's is among my favorite chains. This one is an absolute joy to shop in. In fact, I just love coming here to browse. This is a Marketplace, which means they not only sell groceries, but household goods and clothing too!    The sheer variety of items on offer is staggering. There are so many different brands of cereal, potato chips, toiletries, dairy products and more. The fresh cheese section and full service deli is magnificent, and the bakery is overwhelming with the amount of choices.    This is a large format store so they offer a much broader selection of groceries and household items than a typical Smith's store. There's even a Starbucks inside!    This Smith's still has the beloved gas station and tons of free parking. I love this supermarket!

I gave him my NPI and office address, and he starts quizzing me on why I'm calling in a premed antibiotic in Utah when my office is in PA! None of your business dude!!! The patient needed it to be seen for an emergency while he was in UT- I'm his regular dentist. He needed the antibiotic before being seen for the emergency. But this is none of his business! This guy was way out of his zone, and as a result my patient has transferred all of his prescriptions to another pharmacy. AVOID at all costs.

Meats were unkept for the longest time but this past few days, it has more things and better dates. Sometimes they still struggle with the chicken being all puffed up (all that bacteria growing). Everything else so far is not as bad, some empty shelves here and there on the other side of the store, but I have seen the difference. I will not include the cashier's because they have enough on their plate. What's happening is not their fault, it's the results of some customers actions. There's a lot of amazing employees (not bosses, those are 50/50). The employees are always willing to stop what they are doing to help us. Most of them knowing well what you need and where it is without looking it up. Even found others employees that will translate and if they don't know how to communicate, they'll figure out something, but won't give up until the customer get the things they are looking for. Honestly it's been way better. I don't know what or whom is doing the changes, but there's better results. Maybe they are reading these and actually paying attention to their customers reviews.

It's at the base of UT-150, better known as the Mirror Lake Highway, and it's just what you need when you're headed out for an adventure. I've talked about their connection to the highway before (summary: you can buy a $45 annual pass at their service counter) but I need to give them another shoutout. Over the last five years since my second review, I've been in countless times for pre-camp or pre-hike supplies. You know--the things you forget, or the junky things you get just because. I've stopped here for dinner a few times, but if you get there later than about 4pm, the selection of pre-made sandwiches, deli items, etc is pretty slim. And, to be honest, that's one area where I think they can improve. Not just the selection, but the care and quality that goes into those things. I mean, if I had my druthers, I'd stop at a local restaurant for food, but since I often come through town after dinner time on a Friday night after finishing work for the week, I want to get something quick! The magic is also with the gas station in that regard. I almost always fuel up here, even if I already have a nearly full tank. When I head up and out for 4WD adventures, the last thing I want is to have to turn back because of fuel worries. That little gas station just keeps on providing great drinks and a quick fuel. Add that to a grocery store that can help you grab things you may have forgotten (marshmallows!) and you've got a 1-2 punch that preps you for adventure.

She is not even helpful and almost doesn't want anyone going into the store to bother her. With the few times we've been there, there are also a number of expired items that aren't taken off the shelves. One of the times, my 3 yr old accidentally spilled his ice cream so I asked for a napkin and she was just wreaking with her bad attitude and complaining how my son spilled something sticky as I'm cleaning it.
