*Please take the time to read as I have taken the time to review and report…read more Pedro's unlicensed landscaping service is a complete joke with no communication skills to his customers. As many of these reviews will state and agree upon Pedro will come out for the first few weeks on time as promised yet after a few months he disappears like a ghost on Halloween night. Pedro's crew would constantly skip weeks of service without showing up or calling. Pedro would fail to return any phone calls when messages were left regarding issues that needed attention i.e. Broken sprinkles or such. Pedro had 4 houses on our street and now he has none because of his lack of attention to his service and weekly commitment to his customers. Pedro lost my business when one of his gardening associates took a check I dropped on my front porch and placed his own name on it cashing the funds that were not meant for him. Pedro stated that yes he would provide me with future credit of (5 months) against the stolen check yet after only 1 month he told me to go F-myself and that I should mow my own yard. I reminded Pedro that his business word was 5 months of mowing against the stolen check and all Pedro said was to F-myself and call a lawyer. It was a lesson learned, as my time is to valuable to waste on him. After firing Pedro I told him never to return. Please reconsider this unlicensed company and avoid future dissatisfaction and disappointments.

We are currently wrapping up a multi-phase backyard renovation with the help of Greenscape/Evolve…read moreand I am thoroughly impressed. Initially I had intended to hire them for only the first phase of our project, but they did such a good job and beat competitors prices to earn our business as we moved into other phases. To shade this further, I am an HOA manager and frequently hire and manage all types of vendors -I am very familiar with the process of working with landscape and pool companies and I really believe this one is exceptional enough to give a raving review. Juan and Sal were incredibly professional, their equipment was up to date, their knowledge was extensive, and their team was respectful. Every day they worked hard all day only breaking for a brief lunch; they cleaned up and made our yard safe for our dogs every evening (or let us know if there was something we should be aware of like wet cement). If there was a problem they provided a solution and made it right. In several instances they went above and beyond by helping us with additional requests along the way like removing a shrub or an additional piece of concrete without nickel and diming us. The crew was the same guys for most of the job, which allowed us to feel more secure in leaving our home under their care while we came and went throughout the day. For every job they mobilized FAST; working to get us scheduled within just a day or two of each contract signature. Juan and Sal did not disappear after the initial bid either- they were there every day either supervising or working alongside the crew, and when I had a question they were super responsive via text. I also really appreciated they accept major credit cards without an additional fee. As far as specific job areas: Demolition: This may seem straightforward but our demo involved quite a bit of skill and attention to detail. They dismantled a poorly built fishpond and retained the material for us, providing pallets and stacking them neatly so that we were able to sell them later. They made excellent cuts to our cement and removed portions so that you can't even tell that it hasn't always been that way. They removed a wall built of boulders and glass bottles (don't ask me what the prior homeowner was thinking) with a deep footing that ran adjacent to the pool without breaking anything or hurting any surrounding plants. Concrete pouring: This came out beautiful. we had new steps poured, a new slab, and some steps added on to existing cement. They blend so well and the finish and border is lovely. We caught a small miscommunication between framing and pouring and they came early the next morning to make sure it was taken care of with time to spare before the cement truck got here. They coordinated with our pergola contractor to be sure they properly placed the footings and conduit too. Pool tile: We were not originally planning to redo our pool tile but the price was so fair that we couldn't refuse. The project was originally scheduled to take a little longer, but when I requested it to be expedited because I was hosting Easter that weekend, they made it happen. Even though it wasn't in our original scope, this is one of the things we are most satisfied with- it made such a big difference to our yard and the tile selections were beautiful. They also thoroughly cleaned the plaster - it looks like a whole new pool. Fence: Because we had to work with our neighbors on this, it was a little tougher to make everyone happy. Even so, Greenscape/Evolve made it happen even when it meant they had to redo some things to satisfy multiple parties. We had a very specific design in mind for our front facing fence (horizontal with metal accents) and they were able to create something similar for our budget. As mentioned, there are some odds and ends that we are still wrapping up, but I believe that this is a rare company that is ethical and deserving of trust. It seems there is nothing they can't do.

Garden Hills Landscaping - Debris and weeds still present.

We had to wait for all the snow and rain to be gone before we could get out there and remove. I had already shovel and hand pulled quite a bit. On the day we went out to get into the thick of it we realized it was going to be a much bigger job than we had energy for as we were laying new floors in our entire downstairs ourselves. I called Ramiro who was quick to respond which I was grateful for and asked if he did weed removal. I explained what I needed and why. I communicated clearly that I have a little dog who will sometimes chase wild life out there and he's gotten foxtails in his fur and ear and that they needed to be removed as much as possible. I also communicated that we had a big project going inside the house and didn't have the energy to do the weed removal ourselves. He understood and said yes. There was no misunderstanding. I was notified the crew (of 3 guys) was using a weed eater 30min after they'd already been there. Had I known they were going to do this I would have declined. Ramiro mentioned to me that they'd try to hand pull if the ground was soft enough. They did not because the roots are all still there and as you can see in my photos there's still existing weeds which can easily be hand pulled. A shovel and a hula ho are basic tools to use in the REMOVAL of weeds. He also mentioned he instructed they use a leaf blower to get the debris into a corner and then discard. As you can see, they must have turned it on to say they did but did not do the job I hired them for. Not only am I out over $100 for weed eating but I'll be in my yard for days trying to remove the foxtails that are now strewn all over instead of contained to their green plants. This is not what I paid for. So if you're on some acreage and just need someone to come out and weed wack stuff down, this is for you. If you have a backyard like mine where you need the plants dug up and undisturbed for actual removal, I don't recommend this company. EDIT: Less than a week later and the weeds are now growing back because they did not remove them as they were supposed to. Ramiro did refund 50% of what I paid but honestly I shouldn't of had to pay anything. I will be out there myself doing the job correctly. Removal means to remove.

At one point we had to call the Owner due to incomplete work. We requested extension on our driveway and his response was "I forgot to tell my employees". He informed us we would be starting our concrete on a specific day, I cancelled my plans and waited at home for them to come and they didn't show up. I asked my husband to contact him because of how long I was waiting and this guy tells my husband they were gonna delay one day due to his mistake of not informing his staff about our driveway extension. When the concrete was complete, there was a crack on the side and they told us they couldn't fix it. We paid 12k on that concrete, and they are saying they can't fix it. The level of unprofessionalism this guy had was unreal. When we would let him know we were leaving and asked if they needed anything, he would joke and say he wanted food or pizza. It was completely unprofessional. He did not communicate with us, some days he wouldn't work on our yard and he would not tell us why. There have been several occasions where we just wait at home waiting for him to come and he either gets there very late or doesn't show until we contact him. At this point our yard has not been completed, and it has been about a month. Our yard is a mess and our plants and bushes are dead because they were pulled out and left on our yard. I am very unsatisfied with this business, I will not be calling them back for any yard work. If you want someone who will communicate with you or at least give you a heads up, I would 100% NOT recommend!! I would take my business elsewhere if I were you!
