DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY !!! HE IS HORRIBLE. He promises to finish a job HE TAKES HIS PAY AND RUNS he promises to haul away the trimmings he left after cutting our tree. 6 days pass and he leaves a mess for us after he says he would come back to pick up trash he left. He ignores calls and skips out on finishing his jobs. Now we're stuck double paying someone to clean his mess. read more

*Please take the time to read as I have taken the time to review and report. Pedro's unlicensed landscaping service is a complete joke with no communication skills to his customers. As many of these reviews will state and agree upon Pedro will come out for the first few weeks on time as promised yet after a few months he disappears like a ghost on Halloween night. Pedro's crew would constantly skip weeks of service without showing up or calling. Pedro would fail to return any phone calls when messages were left regarding issues that needed attention i.e. Broken sprinkles or such. Pedro had 4 houses on our street and now he has none because of his lack of attention to his service and weekly commitment to his customers. Pedro lost my business when one of his gardening associates took a check I dropped on my front porch and placed his own name on it cashing the funds that were not meant for him. Pedro stated that yes he would provide me with future credit of (5 months) against the stolen check yet after only 1 month he told me to go F-myself and that I should mow my own yard. I reminded Pedro that his business word was 5 months of mowing against the stolen check and all Pedro said was to F-myself and call a lawyer. It was a lesson learned, as my time is to valuable to waste on him. After firing Pedro I told him never to return. Please reconsider this unlicensed company and avoid future dissatisfaction and disappointments. read more

Pedro reached out to us after seeing my less than stellar review, and asked what he could do to make it right. Since we'd already completed the unfinished work, we declined his offer. He reached out again, a couple months later, and asked to compensate us for the unfinished work. Again we declined. Then we got into a bind and needed to almost immediately find someone to spend a few days doing hard labor. Pedro was happy to help. We showed him a list of back breaking jobs we needed done and he started that day. He also suggested we not pay him until the work was completed to our satisfaction. Great idea! Although it took longer than he originally promised, he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with his work, and his fee was very reasonable. read more

Found Pedro Jr's landscaping service through Yelp and hired them to redo my front lawn. Pedro gave me a reasonable quote and offered to do it the next day. We settled on a red rock that matched the trim of my house. It was a good choice and Pedro has a full gallery of photos to text you if are unsure of what direction to go with the lawn. His crew arrived (very polite guys) and they went to work. All of his crew worked exceedingly hard to make sure the project was finished. He is a bit pricier compared to some other guys I got quotes from, but considering he got the whole project done within 24 hours of making initial contact it was definitely worth the investment. One minor gripe is some of his guys left water bottles strewn in my bushes after I gave them cold water. Guessing they set them down and forgot... wasn't really a huge deal considering how pleased I was with the work! read more

Well I spoke too soon. I thought Pedro and his crew were going to complete the job but they did not. First he had no crew only his young son. He said a worker got injured. Even after reading the negative reviews I still gave Pedro a chance and he said was thankful. I could kick myself! I try to support small businesses but I guess that's what I get. He is always hours late, tries to change the project from what we originally agreed upon and then rushes to do the job even to point of trying to get things done in the dark. I've been more than patient. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! The sod he installed is already dying and I've been watering it darkly. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM. So this is how the communication has gone: read more

When I saw this company on Yelp, I called. Pedro came to give an estimate on the same day I called him. Pedro made a deal with me to clean up my yard, mow my lawn, pull out my trees for $300. I thought the deal was great. So he started working on the yard that very same day. He worked on the yard for two days. I liked his work. He said I'll come back and finish pulling the trees and the rest of the work next weekend, and I'll give a monthly deal. He gave me a great deal, and I said that sounds good. We agreed to started the job next weekend. Next weekend came, I didn't see Pedro, and it was already noon. I'm thinking what happened? I waited until afternoon to call because I know he has other clients. Then I called and he said he will be there in an hour. An hour came, now it 5pm, no Pedro. I thought again, what happened? Called left a message. And I thought, well if he comes on Sunday that would be ok, too. Sunday came no Pedro. I called, left messages, texted, no reply. Monday came, I called, left messages. I didn't hear from Pedro at all. So no communication lead me to think Pedro had ignored my communication line. I gave him a bad review on Yelp, hoping he will see and communicate with me. Because he said on one of the days that he worked on the yard, he wanted a Yelp review from me. So this is actually a revision. So after a whole week, I finally heard from Pedro, and he did read the review. He called and left me a message, he had a death in the family in Mexico. He had to go to Mexico that was why I didn't hear from him. At this point, Pedro is upset at me for writing him a bad review on Yelp. So when I heard there was a death in the family, I gave him a chance to finish his work to redeem himself. So Pedro ended finishing up the job later. He said he does good business which I'm sure he does. Now you have to understand that I am his new client that he just made his first transaction. I'm sorry, I don't know who you are so trustworthiness is on the line here. So how do I know that I can trust you? You have to put yourself in my shoe, too. No one who has a business appointment, just don't show up and without any communications. You just can't leave without any communication. That's like leaving a your job for a whole week without a word to your boss that you're going to be absent. I'm sure he made calls or text to his other clients. What did you do for them? Did you leave them any messages. There are many ways to communicate now-a-day. I am editing this review because Pedro did eventually came back to finish his job. However, Pedro is upset at me for giving him a bad review, and for not being an understanding person. I'm sure he has integrity, and I am also kindhearted person, too. At this point our future business transaction has been cancelled mutually. Basically, I just feel trustworthy has been broken, and he's still upset with me. He should have apologized for not answering the calls, or not being able to. The bottom line is we all go through life with sad and happy events. However we have communications that helps us deal with the people around us, so they can understand what you are going through and get back to our daily routine. I am being very nice and understanding. I could have asked for a full refund, but I didn't. I did told Pedro, I was sorry about your loss. Somehow I still think he's still upset with me. read more

Pedro has rescued us twice. First time, the nice family renting our second home in Redlands called to say the previous gardeners had not been to the home in weeks (their phone was even disconnected- did they skip town?). I searched for hours and found the other Yelp reviews for Pedro. Called him and heard back the same day. He met me at the home that same day, quoted the job and went straight to work! He even sent a text of the front yard after cleaning it up. Wow! Unfortunately, I had discovered that the previous gardeners had never done much of the things I had asked of them and the backyard was completely overgrown. But, Pedro and his assistant were up for the job. After 2 days of work and 3 trips to the landfill, it was like night and day! Pedro now maintains the home on a regular basis. We are so thankful, our renters included! The second rescue was a week later. At our own home, we were pulling up the front lawn to make way for drought tolerant plants. We had high ambitions, to accomplish a lot in a short period of time. But it was taking much longer to do everything than expected. I called Pedro mid-day, not expecting he would be available at such short notice. Fortunately, he was finishing up a job and made a way to come help us. Pedro and his assistant worked so fast and efficiently, as if they were machines! We were all so impressed and grateful. My husband and I highly recommend Pedro for gardening, yard work, landscape services. He is knowledgeable, responsible, efficient, reliable and communicates very well. I hired Pedro to do a major clean-up job for a rental property of mine that I am preparing to place on the market. The job included trimming trees and hedges along with installing sod. To say that I'm impressed with Pedro's work is an understatement! He went above and beyond to ensure a job well done. He even helped me load trash left behind by the tenants, into the dumpster. Pedro did an outstanding job restoring my properties landscaping to it's original beauty. I highly recommend his services! read more

So sad. Pedro was amazing the first time he came out, but never again. He was supposed to come every other Friday( 2×a month. ) and never ever would!! He would come then not for 4 weeks then say sorry, then get off track again , or show up at 3 pm on Saturday when he was supposed to be here 11am on friday! He would Never call and tell us he wasn't going to show up, we felt like we were chasing him. Our last straw was when we talked to him about our issues and he said I'm so sorry it will never happen again...I guess he said this because he decided not to ever come back again and leave us high and dry. Also when he would show up he would always forget something/an area. read more

I'm in the process of hiring a landscaper and called Pedro along with a couple others. My call was answering immediately and I was told someone would be here to give me an estimate that same day. Super nice the first time he came out for a quote. Offered to "clean up" and include first month for $200 upfront. (Lesson learned, I know.) Had to remind him to come out two more times and he didn't do the work he said he would. After the third time of trying to reach him, just gave up and said forget it. I suppose he's just super busy. read more

This gardener if that is what you want to call him is HORRIBLE he came out to my place of business started the job and left!! After literally calling him 10 times he says that his workers car was stolen but he would be sure to send someone else to complete the job. They show up in a car with few tools in a Honda Civic did a few weeds and left again. He doesnt answer his phone and when he does he is full of LIES and EXCUSES. One day he shows up when he wanted since he cant stick to a schedule with his minor son in the heat. Worked a few and did what he does best LEFT. I would never recommend Pedro to my worse enemy. He is by far professional and has no communication skills. This last chance I gave him he promised to show up Saturday then text saying NO sunday and what do u know he never showed up or even called. read more

I called Pedro because our backyard had so many bushes and trees. It was way to hard to maintain and looked like a forest! He was able to come out and get the job done 2 days later. In 1 day they were able to take out all the ivy on our hill, remove several trees and bushes. It would have taken me months to get all of this done. It looks like a brand new backyard and I'm very happy with the service he prvoided! The price was very reasonable as well. We received a few quotes and he charged about half of what other people were quoting us. Would definantely recommend him! read more

I found Pedro on Yelp. My lawn completely died due to a destructive root system breaking sprinkler lines. Pedro made himself available immediately on a last minute call. Took a job that would have taken me days and cleared a large section of my yard in a few hours. He offered some expertise on the next/final part of the job as I was stumped on how to go about it. I will be adding sprinklers and sod to the cleared area. I am looking forward to completing the job with Pedro as I have no doubts his expertise will match my vision. The negative reviews seem to be far reaching as I am super pleased with him and his work. Anything comes up in the future, I'm reaching out to Pedro as well as referring my friends and neighbors to him. read more

Extremely hard worker very very reasonable no task is too hard for Pedro. Highly recommend him.

This Gardner is a joke. I made an appointment with them and they never showed up, never called. Texted me that he could show up next day. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and discussed the job and pricing with him. He stated that he would text me a list of items needed to start the job. I never heard from him again. Very irresponsible and bad business practices. I do not recommend. read more

We hired Pedro back in early June to landscape our backyard because we had a large event coming up. He said it would be no problem to have it finished and didn't even come close to completing it on time. I ended up having to do everything indoors. It wasn't a huge project and for a responsible and well run company should have been a few day project. He never mentioned that it wouldn't be complete. For some reason we were push overs and let this guy snail along. It's now August and our backyard is half done. We finally fired him last week. His work is okay at best and the first time he showed up his employees were drinking alcohol. One time he was supposed to show up with a crew to "finish" and when only he showed up he told us his employees had all stayed up drinking the night before and called in. He frequently failed to show up when he said he would, never finished a full project and would expect to be paid when he would come back to fix something that he messed up on the first place. He seems like a nice guy, sure, but he'd be a better employee and not the business owner. He has no idea how to run a business. read more

WHAT A FREAKING JOKE! Just WTF. He comes for an estimate. He's on time. Says he can take care of my lawn and rake all the leaves and things that have gathered. Gives me a fair price of $150 for the first run through. The day he was supposed to come, He's two hours late. Gets the job done, semi, but I think to myself that its okay, he will probably finish up when he comes come back in later weeks at $30 a time. Well Mr. Pedro.... You arnt coming back. Your'e a freaking joke. My landlord has split this property with fence and has a back garage. Guess where a lot of trash and leaves and sticks went? On the same property on the other side of the fence. That's about the dumbest thing i've ever seen, maybe. But I wouldn't even second guess where the rest of the trash went, probably not a dump site. More like on the side of our freeways or some dirt road just around the corner. Sad. Thanks a lot Pedro! Great work ethic. ppppffftttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt read more

Can't say enough great things about him and his team. I recently moved here and needed a gardener, saw his yelp reviews and gave him a call. He came out that same day and quoted me a very fair price to cut my large yard on a bi-weekly basis. He and his team even showed up on Thanksgiving and cut my grass then fixed a leaking pipe. Yesterday I called him late in the afternoon to see if he could come look at a pipe that's been leaking for about a week hoping he would be able to fix it the next day or so. Well he saw how much water was leaking and went on to start because he didn't want my water bill to be sky high. It ended up being a MUCH bigger leak than anticipated and despite the freezing rain and it being dark he fixed he for a VERY reasonable price. Pedro and his team are great guys, hard workers and I will refer anyone I can to him. read more

Initially my wife and I hired Pedro a few months back to move some rocks in front of our house so we could plant some flowers. Pedro showed up a few hours after he was called and did an Outstanding job. We recently decided to put new fences in and decided to go with Pedro for the job. His prices were much lower than we were quoted by many different fence companies. Pedro and his colleague's work was impeccable, I was very pleased and impressed. A week later, we had Pedro install a drip system in our planters and also install a drainage system in our backyard. Again, he did a very professional and Outstanding job. This week we had Pedro set up a storage shed and do some landscaping in our back yard. The result was again terrific and my expectations were exceeded. I have been so impressed by Pedro that we let go of our Gardner of 6 years and have hired Pedro to take care of all our landscaping needs. He is very quick to respond and gets the job done. The quality of his work is Amazing and his prices cannot be beat! I am recommending Pedro to all of my family and friends...and so is my wife. He is a jack of all trades and I feel very fortunate to have met him! read more
