It was a lovely fountain for people and dogs and it's gone. The other fountain does not work so for now you will need to bring your own water. Sitting just on the outskirts of downtown Filmore is this newish skatepark that's an interesting mix of street and ramp. The setup is dominated by a large scattering of street style bits and pieces that includes all kinds of boxes, ledges, banks, stairs and rails. Even the three different entries to the skatepark are fully skatable. It's an eclectic mix but really versatile and offers a lot of options and challenges. The central area contains a bunch of transitions that loosely form an open bowl. They range in size from 4-8ft and also include a hip and a couple 1.5ft extensions. It all kind of works in a strange way and isn't like anything we've seen before. There's also a relatively unused mid sized pool style bowl (6-9ft) that has nice transitions and pool coping. Then the brush fire happened and got relocated to Hungry Valley. Understandable . Both times that they relocated us , Kelly was very accommodating and communicative through text. She made sure that we keep the same day , same time slot no matter what or offer a full refund. When we got to the location in the day of , Silvia and girl (I forgot her name ) who checked us in were very helpful and nice and wanted to make sure we were prepared . During these COVID times , they took our temperature , made sure we sanitized our hands , and put a sanitary head and mouth covering on before putting the sanitized helmet on . We got there an hour early because we had to commute from an hour away and wanted to be on time . They let us ride early as soon as we got there and Sylvia was a fantastic guide . She took amazing pictures of us and made sure we were okay throughout the ride The trail was beautiful and the scenery was captivating . My boyfriend and I are already looking to book the lake arrowhead location next month . 10/10 would recommend We also received our pics the same day

Obie was already nervous when he arrived, and I was told that they would take things slowly with him. While I understand that puppies can be nervous in a new environment, what happened during his visit was much more concerning to me. An employee physically handled Obie while he was visibly scared and uncomfortable. I did not feel that the way she handled him was appropriate, and as his owner, it was extremely upsetting to watch. What made it even more concerning was that she was turned around at one point rather than actively watching and supervising the dogs. I understand that employees have multiple dogs to watch, but when an employee is supposed to be interviewing a new puppy and their temperament, I would expect that interaction to be closely supervised and handled with care. I had specifically explained that Obie was nervous and was told he would be eased into the environment, which made what I witnessed even more disappointing. My concern is not that Obie was nervous or that he needed time to adjust. My concern is specifically how an employee chose to physically handle him when he was clearly uncomfortable. I have screen recordings from the daycare cameras documenting what happened, so this review is based on what I personally witnessed and have recorded, not simply my interpretation of how the visit went. I would expect a daycare entrusted with people's dogs to prioritize gentle, patient, and appropriate handling, especially with a young puppy who is already scared. Unfortunately, after witnessing how Obie was treated, I left feeling very uncomfortable with the experience.
