Friday was very busy, and I waited for some time, Monday was not busy. I was there when the doors opened at 9am, and home by 9.30 with my business taken care of. I thought everyone I dealt with, including the guard who met us at the door, was professional, courteous, helpful, and readily smiled. They were very down to earth and we're accommodating in many ways. The nurses were equally as helpful and assisted in individual needs. The judge sucked seemed like he had a hell of a day but hey Justice isn't always pleasant. The food sucked ass but they did serve 3 meals a day and it was hot. I was in a good pod that allowed for TV and low risk inmates. We were all just doing our time and paying our debts to the system Showers were hot Bed mattress stunk All in all I don't condone breaking the law because it's a road that never ends. If you end up in Benton county corrections you won't have the hardest time serving out your time.

I thought of pulling a Lez Lemon, and showing up in a Han Solo outfit, but I was curiously intrigued with learning about the whole experience. They have been having some issues with their online & call-in system, but I had no issues with determining whether I was needed. The staff at the Center were pretty cool. Some of the Jury candidates were hella funny and memorable. Sadly, I didn't make it for Jury selection--my number was just too high. It was a cool experience nonetheless.

About a month passed by and we received our bill for November loath and behold we get a paper statement saying that our bill was overdue from the month of October which made no sense to us because how was it that my father was handed the paper receipt for that month (October) and we were being charged for 2 months? He went in to speak to the same employee that had taken the payment and given him the receipt for her to deny that'd the payment was ever made. My thing is ma'am if you gave him a receipt for that month's payment and he clearly made the payment why were you guys trying to charge us two months worth of payments? Was the money just put in systematically and not inside the till? Or what til this day we never got those $100 back and we strongly believe that City of Pasco screwed us over.

I stood by the wall opposite from her window, holding the next-in-line ticket, waiting calmly & patiently, in her direct line of sight. After about 5 minutes she got off the phone, glanced briefly at me & looked away, & said "next". I stepped up. Another client had just entered - a young man. The representative looked at me & said "I believe he was here first". The young man looked surprised & said "no, she (pointing at me) was" & I stepped forwarded & sat down. I commented that perhaps she hadn't seen me...& the representative said, "oh, I saw you..." in a not-very-pleasant tone. She did take care of what I needed, but she clearly had taken an immediate dislike to me & did not want to help me. I have no idea why, as I was polite, pleasant, smiled, & did not complain about having to wait - didn't act impatient (I had plenty of time & was relaxed) - just puzzled by her attitude! I have never gotten that kind of reaction from a business before!!!!! That young woman clearly did not want to help me! She made it very clear....& I'd love to know why! I am a neatly dressed, 60+ local gal, Very average & generally easy-going & pleasant. I'm not used to having anyone take such an instant dislike to me! She did help me with what I needed, which is good, however.
