We arrived in Harlem around 11am, and KFC was just opening. We were attracted by the big "grand opening" sign offeroing legs and thighs... What a deal... Could it be? And Halal chicken? We sat at the Fred Samuel across the street, and had a wonderful eating experience. the chicken was hot, thinly dusted (not the thick batter of other places), and the meat was cooked through and still really juicy, but.hardly any grease on the skin... It beats tenders and wings and all the other iterations.. especially the thigh. Some other reviewers commented about the service and flavor for Asians, well I'm Asian from San Francisco, and I love my chicken this way. The server was also very courteous and quick.
