I saw Dr. Jake, and he is very polite, and careful as he works. I didn't feel much better the first visit, but I followed his instructions about laying flat on my back with an ice pack underneath. I did this every hour for about 10 minutes. I also lied flat on my stomach with an ice pack on top my back and within a few days if this I felt 100% better, so it wasn't necessary to have a follow up appointment. It was hard for me to find a local chiro and that took insurance, I'm happy I came across Staywell Chiropractic! I've so far had three visits with him I believe, and the front desk gal, is super helpful with scheduling and with insurance. The most I pay for my visit is about $12 or less and that is through HMAA medical insurance, however it might be different for others so I would double check with your insurance and the front desk gal on how much you would pay after your first visit. I'm happy that I found a chiropractic doctor that I can trust and understands quality of care. I highly recommend this chiropractor. He does not disappoint!

He uses different strategies in order to give you relief from pain so that you aren't just getting adjustments. My favorite is the heating pad and the ultrasound wand. (Sounds strange but I think that is what it is!) I always feels so much better after seeing Dr Tsutsui: my back is more relaxed and I am adjusted. If I am experiencing pain, I just call and he can usually fit me in pretty soon- I love this flexibility with my busy schedule! The office has a few Drs in it now, although I haven't visited the others. Make sure to flip the light switch of the doctor you are there to see when you walk into the waiting room. This office is located in a plaza right after the gas station as you drive into Haleiwa from the south. It is right next to Killer Tacos with plenty of parking.

Thankfully I found Dr. Gabby and she has been great--I always feel so much relief after my adjustments with her. One downside is that not every doctor there feels as skilled. I've had a few adjustments where nothing really cracked or I actually felt a little worse after. Another con can be scheduling--sometimes it's difficult to make or cancel an appointment. I've left messages before and didn't get a call back. Lately I've just been walking in and the staff is friendly enough to try to fit me into the schedule, but it's not always guaranteed that I'll get the doctor I prefer. Overall though, I'd definitely recommend seeing Dr. Gabby specifically.
