Stacey is an amazing massage therapist. He reads the body well, helps move through tension and will go with the flow that works best for your needs. As someone from LA who's been to plenty of massage spots, I wasn't expecting anything too different--but this session with Ikaika completely shifted my energy. It wasn't just a massage, it felt like a healing. The space itself has such a peaceful, grounded vibe, and Ikaika holds it with a calm, open presence. He really tunes in--not just to your muscles, but to your whole being. His touch is strong and intentional, but never harsh. It felt like he was helping my body remember how to relax and release. I walked out of that hour feeling clear, aligned, and deeply reconnected to myself. There's something really special happening at Hoʻopono Healing Massage. If you're ever on the island, go. Let Ikaika work his magic. read more

I had a genuinely wonderful experience with Ikaika. From start to finish, everything felt effortless, professional, and deeply restorative. I tried to get an appointment back in 2019, but Ikaika was all booked up. And then the pandemic hit. But knowing this year that I was going to be out on Oahu, I booked an appointment. It has been a long time since I've had a massage, and if you read through my past two reviews, Ikaika has a way of working the muscles toward healing. If you're looking for one of those soothing massages you see on tv, this might not be for you. But if you have muscle pain, range of motion issues, or other issues pertaining to body alignment, Ikaika is your man. Since I was in really bad shape, I opted for The Two-Part Ultimate Complete Body Treatment Plan. In the first part, I was stretched and pulled as much as my body would allow. Interesting that parts of my left side were more flexible than my dominant right, and vice-versa, and yes, there were some times I was in a little pain, other times a lot, but don't let this scare you because he was working on my issues, and I have a lot...LOL! But it was in the second half where a lot of the work took place. The deep tissue massage uncovered some pretty gnarly knots! The acupressure points did bring forth some tears, releasing some emotional tension that I've been holding onto. Ikaika's protocols are what sets him apart from other therapists. It's amazing how our bodies, particularly our muscle tissues, protect us, but in doing so, the tension builds and if we don't do anything to release it, it will stay and become those knots. IK: You said you were in bad shape but you stay all hamajang.. Me: I know...I'm sorry, but thank you for putting me back together There were times when the deep tissue was painful but as long as I kept breathing my way through it, when he was done, the pain was gone. But the most amazing part was the very end. When he was finished with my myofascial and cranial massage, he lifted my head in his hands, and said, "just think about that place where you feel love and support." Meditating on that, I had an existential experience. It was an amazing journey. I highly recommend Ikaika if you are having some issues that need to be healed. He listens to what you need, and also watches how your body communicates. Unfortunately, he is on break until September. I was lucky to get the last appointment. I still need more work, and hopefully I'll be out sometime in the fall. Mahalo Ikaika! read more

Ikaika is amazing. He shares his manaʻo with you to improve overall health and takes time to hear your concerns. I came to see him for tension and stiffness that had last a few years. He got it all out and improved areas I didn't even realize had limited ROM. Such a welcoming warm presence about him. For someone with anxiety, that was huge for me. Instantly felt at peace and calm while there. Can't wait to book the next one read more

I've been seeing Ikaika for over two years now, and it's about time I write a review! Now where to start?! When I first went to Ikaika, I was looking for someone I might visit once or twice a month to help relieve muscle tension in my neck and shoulders due to sitting at the computer. On my first visit, I asked for a deep massage. WOW! I'd had a lot of massages, but never experienced such strength before. I wasn't sure I could handle it, but the longer he worked on me, the easier I found it. I noticed that unlike other massages I'd had in the past, the work he did had a long lasting, therapeutic effect. Unfortunately, not long after I started seeing him, I sustained a severe brachial plexus (nerve) injury, which affected my entire arm and hand. Ikaika has helped me through the long healing process, adjusting his treatments along the way and helping me maintain my circulation and flexibility. I have also dealt with knee issues that, at times, have threatened my ability to stay as active as I want to be. Ikaika has found the source of those knee problems and helped to loosen tight muscles which were restricting movement and causing discomfort. In short, Ikaika has worked his magic on all that has ailed me! He has helped me remain physically active, so that I can continue to walk long miles, and surf into my 60s. Ikaika is a rare, intuitive, and truly gifted healer, who is able to hone in on the source of your pain, discomfort, and/or limited range of motion. He will listen to you carefully before he starts to work, and be sure to pay special attention to the areas you identify as problematic. He will also find knots you didn't know you had, and release them for you. You will be amazed by his ability to sustain the deep pressure needed to release your tension, and by his healing touch. Ikaika's massage studio, located in his home against the mountains, is quiet, clean, and comfortable. Ikaika is not only a gifted healer, he is a warm, kind and caring person who is delightful to interact with. He is the essence of aloha and will make you feel right at home. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Mahalo, Ikaika! read more

Ikaika is truly gifted with healing hands and really cares about your health. Easily one of the best massages I've ever had start to finish. The overall experience was amazing and transformative. I felt lifted after the massage. I strongly recommend Ikaika for anyone who is need of a deep tissue massage. You won't regret it! read more

Ikaika's deep massage took my pain away. It was the best massage I have ever had. I have had muscle and joint pain for years and now feel so much better, just after one massage. He gave me good advice for improving my self care at home too. I will be back as I continue my healing journey. Mahalo Ikaika! read more

Ikaika was amazing! He is very professional, an excellent communicator, and a very talented healer! He is a great listener and someone who is really focused on providing the exact type of massage that you need. I asked for deep tissue and he provided the deepest tissue massage I have ever experienced. He also checked on me the next day to see how I was doing and it felt very genuine. He also provided great ideas for local places to eat. I will definitely book another appointment with Ikaika when I come back to Oahu! read more

WOW. It's hard to put into words how great my experience was, but I'll try. I went in for 2 massages, and each one was better than any other massage I've ever had - and I've had a lot! If you're going in for deep tissue / healing as I was, expect PAIN. The pressure was more than anything I'd experienced before, but what really impressed me were the homing missile elbows - finding knots I'd never think existed in seconds and then targeting them down with laser precision. This isn't just a massage - it's a healing experience. I was reduced to tears after the first massage, and guided gently through my emotions with the focus being on healing rather than time or money. I'll be back here anytime I'm in oahu! Thank you for the amazing experience! read more

I came to Ikaika after having leg cramps earlier in the day during a long run. The treatment he provided was extremely helpful. The session started with some stretching and joint realignment which helped both of us identify potential problem areas. During the deep tissue massage, he was able to apply sufficient pressure to work out the knots and cramps in my legs while still being receptive to my comfort levels. Woke up the next morning feeling loose and ready to go - much faster recovery than I've previously experienced. Also, his dog is awesome. read more

I'm a 35yo male that has suffered from severe migraines half my life. Massages have always provided relief when done by skilled practitioners. Ikaika is a HIGHLY SKILLED practitioner. Finding the place for your 1st time is an adventure but he'll give you thorough directions to help you find your way and once you're there...SERENITY! The location is absolutely breathtaking. For my first visit he did an in-depth consultation about my problem areas and then we got to work. He began stretching me and then truly focused on areas of pain. When we were done we talked a bit and you can truly sense his compassion for healing people and providing long lasting relief. Ho 'opono Healing Massage is the real deal! This is no "feel good" rub rub nonsense. My first experience with Ikaika was an intense release of mammoth proportion. I said to him afterwards: "I didn't know you could do that!". "Do what?" he inquired, I responded: "Let go, I didn't know you could let go like that!" Honestly, unknown to me, I was holding onto way more than just the physical tension of being a lifelong athlete bodyboarder. A ways into the massage the intensity was almost unbearable. Ikaika had assessed my issues and went to work diligently on my excessively tight areas. He told me to let go and let me know that I was safe. "It's ok to cry. People cry here". I didn't know what I was in for but allowed myself to open up and be vulnerable. I cried! And I cried and cried and cried!! I cried harder than I think is socially acceptable for a grown man but Ho'opono is a safe place where you can truly let go of the mind, heal the body and help reconnect the spirit:) Ikaika is highly knowledgeable on human physiology, diet and overall well being! He's excellent at what he does, genuinely cares, over delivers and has a depth of understanding of energy that you need to experience! My second session was just as extraordinarily profound but on more of a spiritual plain than emotional this time. Physically: Ikaika has produced results in two sessions that I never believed possible!!! Super excited for the future!!! read more

What an absolute TREAT!!! I have had 100's of massages all over the world and who knew the most effective massage was right in my back yard. Ikaika was phenomenal. His technique was absolutely perfect for me. I was completely impressed at how he could sustain the same amount of pressure and move very slowly all the way through each muscle group. It sounds like a no brainer when it comes to massage but this was something very different. Ikaika was so in tune with all the aspects of pain I had been sufferring, where and how my muscles were locked up and his slow attention to detail LITERALLY changed my life. He fixed my shoulder pain, how my hands were locked and I found my knees again. I have had chronic inflamation around my knees and after my massage they looked like knees for the first time in YEARS!!! I am hooked and every massage from anyone else from now on will be a let down. THANK YOU THANK YOU Ikaika for starting to heal my body. Until I can see you again. Mahalo!!!!! read more

I've had massages through the years, but and this was my first appointment with Ikaika. He spent time asking questions and listening to evaluate the optimum way to work on me. His questions focused on my overall lifestyle, current level of exercise and physical activity, existing medical conditions, physical limitations, and stress/pain points. He also shared tips and advice for me to incorporate daily, to make the most of my session and to stay healthy. Ikaika gave me an excellent full body massage; concentrating on areas that needed more attention. He coached me with proper breathing as he worked on the difficult areas. From the time I entered through his garden gate until I left, I felt nurtured by the beautiful setting and Ikaika's care and strength. I felt healed both physically and mentally and look forward to my next session. Thank you, Ikaika! Aloha, Leona read more

We are so lucky that we found Stacey for our massages on Oahu. I usually get massages on a regular basis but never had someone so professional. For the past 6 months my right arm and shoulder were in pain from overuse. He knew exactly how to treat it and even after our first session I felt 10 times better. I loved hot packs as well. My husband and my daughters got their massages as well. All loved it. When we got back on the island second time I immediately bought 3 consecutive sessions for myself and my husband, our daughters got their adjustment as well. He fixed my sore back and worked more on arm and shoulder. I got my flexibility back and I am so excited to do the sports I love again. What I noticed with all of our visits Stacey works very hard to make sure he gets the cause of the problem and even checks on you after the visit. He also recommended us exercises I can do at home. So make sure to get as many sessions as you can because professionals like him are hard to find. read more

I write this as a fellow therapist who is a very picky massage recipient.. Ikaika is the BEST MASSAGE THERAPIST I have ever received work from. He is kind, attentive to requests, thorough in understanding client needs and goals of bodywork and an excellent communicator to start. We focused on correcting some postural chronic pain issues in which his technique and understanding of tissue, range of motion, fascia and the energetics underneath it all were superb! Ikaika lives ho'oponopono in ways that are felt and rare. Thank you for the best part of my Oahu journey! read more

My family has been going to get bodywork done by Ikaika for the last 6 years. He is by far the best and most knowledgeable and skilled therapists I've had, and as a stuntman I have had work done by many from all around the world. He's professional, but makes you feel at home when in his care. Every time I come back home from filming in the mainland I really look forward to getting work done by Ikaika. read more

My experience was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Ikaika's fun and warm personality made me feel comfortable, as if we were old friends. I have an old knee injury and my knee was bothering me for a few months plus my lower back and hips were always in pain. After my 90-min massage, my knee pain went from an 8 to a 3. My hips are looser as well as my lower back. What I valued the most was the health & wellness education he shared and the small things I can do on my own to help with my healing process. I'm convinced Stacy is the best massage in the world. He's a real healer with a lifetime of study and practice and from a family of generational healers. His spirit and home is a joy and retreat. Mahalo, Stacey. read more

Stacey is unbelievably talented. I first booked the Body Tune-Up Treatment Plan for my wife who was suffering pain in her arm. In that one session, he improved her mobility and greatly reduced the pain she was experiencing. She had such a positive experience that we booked treatments for our daughters, and I also had the Body Tune-Up Treatment. I had not had a massage for a few years since most spas were closed due to COVID, so I was incredibly tight and tense. Stacey broke up the knots throughout my body. He also gave me great tips on nutrition (drink more water, as the hydration will also help keep the body loose) as well as stretches that I should do after my runs. I can't say enough nice things about Stacey and give him my highest recommendation. read more
