Where everybody knows your name. Great people. Cold beer. Great pizza. Best tavern pizza in Houston.

Bingo! So much fun and the jackpot last round game 10 can reach some serious cash! $700-$800-$900 is regular payout.

Guinness is some of best in Houston. Pizza is good. Atmosphere is 10/10 for pub. Bingo night is Thursday night and is great! $20/$50/$900!(varies)!!! Payouts over ten games. Last game is jackpot! There is not a better Irish pub in Houston. Service is fast and friendly.

Great place. Was in here for the "1st day of no football". Random guys and bartender talking about Anthony Hopkins. Dude w the Diet Coke knew who the Texans had traded him for.... And we got pizza n IPa's. Classy us. Also. Pizza doesn't take away as well as it's in the bar. Probably 25 yrs since I was here the first time.

I had a chance to stop in on a beautiful sunny and hot hot day. I ordered a Guinness and it was just what I needed. The Beatles were playing in the background and it was just an overall great vibe in this pub. Played a game of darts and then sat back at the bar and conversed with a couple at the bar enjoying what they say one of the best places to eat some wings. The pizza oven was fired up, but I had already eaten so next time. I highly recommend this pub. Stop in and have a pint, play some darts, listen to some good music, and strike up a conversation with someone at the bar. Either way you will have a good time.

YUM - Italian sausage and black olives- yummy charred edges!

We really miss great Chicago food/Midwest style pizza and we were so happy to find Kenneally's. Delicious, thin, cracker crisp crust with delicious sauce and toppings. We love the Italian sausage and black olives but it's all great! We also love the bar itself- it's a great place to eat and service is always friendly. The bar reminds us of any old Chicago bar that's been there forever- and in Houston years- it has! It's a cozy and comfortable space- always worth the trip when we're craving the real thing!

Ok I'm updating my review because I have been eating here a lot and damn the burger couldn't be tastier. Thick and juicy. The pizza crust, angels sing when I get a piece. Seriously come here and drink, eat and be merry. Or be sad. It's an Irish pup after all.

Mini Corn Dogs! Came out hot and crispy -- sooo good!

One of my favorite Irish pubs in Houston. The atmosphere is so cute and comfortable to hangout with friends. They also have some of the best bar food in Houston! We loved the Hangover specialty pizza (jalapeños, bacon, sausage, and pepperoni) and mini corn dogs with a cold beer! The pizza crust must be homemade and the sauce is so yum! The mini corn dogs came out hot and crispy with a side of yellow mustard, they were sooo good!! Can't wait to come back here again!

What a blast this place was!!! We had so much fun with our friends tonight. We were looking for places to go and hang out, have some drinks, take in some sights... and when it was suggested to go to an Irish Pub on our first night in TX... I was thinking, "Really? That's where we're going?" Man... I'm so glad that's what we did! We had so many laughs, it was a great comfortable atmosphere, where we sat outside and chilled the whole night with appetizers and drinks! Our server... she was awesome! Witty, a bit snarky, and provided enough entertainment with her humor. The bar tender knew his drinks and kept them flowing all night! We even had some entertainment when a group of firemen walked by in a pack, and sung some holiday cheer for the group. Just down right fun all around as you can tell from the pictures... it's all about #onelove and #Fam. Not too mention, we were in town for the Seahawks vs Texans game at NRG Stadium. (Hawks won for anyone keeping count). The food is a bit interesting, but not a diverse Irish cuisine... but I was digging the Irish Nachos... a completely different take. The pizza was great and the wings too. Ending with this... Time is short... surround yourself with true good friends that you call Family... and enjoy each other! As always... Enjoy and Happy Celebrating!!

    Perfectly crispy crust.

I wish there was a candle that smelled like this place when you walk in. I would burn it 24/7. Air freshener for the car, cologne, laundry detergent? I'll take it all. It just takes me to a good spot when I smell this pizza joint. Technically it's an Irish pub but we go mainly for the Midwest style pizza. We live in The Woodlands so we do not get here as much as we would like but each time we do it has been a hit. After seeing Aladdin at Sarofim Hall in Houston I expected my wife would want to go somewhere else because we were dressed nice and in the big city with endless options for dining. We were tossing ideas at each other for far too long when she said "or we could go to Kenneally's." Before she could change her mind I hit the gas and made a bee line for the cramped little parking lot that sits behind this glorious bar. We had pepperoni and sausage on the whole pie and green olives (her thing) on half. The mother in law had a corned beef sandwich that was decent as well. We devoured that pizza leaving only the magic dust on the tray behind. (See pic). Will. Be. Back.

I needed to wake up because friend who hadn't arrived yet and I were going to see The Monkey at the cinema up the street from Mahoney's. Order an Espresso Martini, nothing notably special, it was mixed well and finished it in what seemed like 2 sips. I was a bit hungry and ordered the Texas Egg Rolls made with chicken, black beans, corn, red bell pepper, pepper jack cheese and a side dipping sauce. They come with 6, 2 bites and done size. These reminded me of the egg rolls from Chili's. They arrived warm and if flavor was fine. I'd get them again. My friend arrives but by this time the area we were in got CROWDED. It seemed there was only one bartender handling both the patrons at the bar and groups at the tables. It took about 15 minutes after my friend arrived to place a beer order. I was trying to order it for him before he arrived but didn't have any success as the bartender stayed mostly on one side of where I was sitting and didn't look up during his time filling orders. Eventually, we are able to order a second round and closed out. Aside from the service being a bit off, and likely due to unexpected being busy, my past experiences have been enjoyable, that's why I chose to come here pre-movie going. Highly recommend their brunch. I wish I lived in the area I'd do brunch here often, they have BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS Saturday & Sunday!

Nice thin cornmeal batter, 4 pieces plus tots (substituted for fries), hush puppies and coleslaw. Plenty to split! Very light!!! Ok other than the tots. Love Jacks for their food! ! When walking in it wasn't crowded but there were a fair amount of guests for a near 10 pm crowd on a Wednesday. I went and sat at the bar to which I was immediately greeted and provided menus. Food & Drink - 5* I immediately ordered some wings and fried pickles and peppers. Then I debated between the Irish Stew or the Shepherd's Pie. When I inquired, both are great but advised I should go with the Shepherd's Pie. Off to races we go. Fried pickles and peppers, delicious, the batter isn't over the top yet doesn't fall off terribly. The cilantro jalapeño sauce is a fantastic pairing. The wings -- great, nice crisp, flavor was not necessarily what I expected, I couldn't place it at the time it they were good. Now, the shepherd's pie, wow, this dish was addicting. I'd come back over and over for this while sabotaging in semblance of a balanced diet. Just makes me know that the Irish stew is likely equally fantastic. The drinks, well, I can't speak to cocktails but the Guinness was delicious, cold, with nice collar/head. Can't go wrong with that! Service - 5* Everything one would want. Friend, fast, and attentive. Water was always full and was asked if needed anything multiple times. The only thing I didn't get proactively was napkins, but when I asked, I was provided some quickly. Cost - 4.5* Overall, I think, subjectively speaking, everything here is pretty well priced. The shepherd's pie may be a tad overpriced but it's worth it in how delicious it is. Overall - 5* This was a pleasant surprise to visit and I will certainly come back. Subjectively the location is good and bad. Being next to the improv and movie theater I'm sure helps attract many patrons for these businesses. At the same time, this joint, with a loyal following, would sustain business and "feel" better as a free standing establishment in a more neighborhood type environment. Nevertheless, great place, would recommend people stop in even if they aren't visiting the stalwart attractions in the area.
