I went into Kendra Scott looking for a gift. Upon walking in I had a few questions about an item, I made eye contact several times with Bridget and she did not acknowledge me although I had a necklace in my hand. I approached her and asked a question to which she answered very dismissive then proceeded to help someone else which she did not seem dismissive with. Once I was in line with the display item in my hand, Bridget checked me out. She then put the display item I had in the bag and box. She did not offer to grab one from the back which would be the normal thing to do. I left the store with the display item and realized that I should go back and get a new item with a tag. Upon returning to the store, I stood in line for another 5 minutes along with other customers. There was no one at the register and the employees were fixing displays without acknowledging anyone. Finally an employee came to the register (I did not catch her name) I explained to her the situation and she proceeded to ask if the item was "tarnished" I said no. She then asked if it was damaged, which I said no to again. I had to explain to her it was a gift and I was not trying to give it away without proper packaging. She then said "OH ok" and grabbed a new item. I will not be going back to this location, I rather drive further for better customer service. This experience made me feel as if I was judged by my appearance based of how attentive Bridget was with other customers. Corporate should take a serious look at the employees at this location. To still be asked if the item was damaged or tarnished after I had fully explained myself to the employee and telling her I had just bought the item is ridiculous. read more

November 23, 2021 Came for the "Livy" necklace because I was given the matching bracelet a week ago. At 6:45 on a Tuesday night AND my 60th BD...(today) there was a line to get into the store...we waited 15-20 minutes! I knew what I wanted...the Livy necklace ok silver to match the already gifted bracelet. I also bought a gold bracelet and a 3 stackable ring set. Gorgeous. I started noticing that almost every employee had my Livy bracelet/necklace on..wow! Popular item. I must have over 30 pcs of KS...I've sent one of her sons to Chick Filet (on me) by now! And none of the staff acknowledged us at all. Corporate needs to take a serious look at your staff at this store. Because a sale was lost. My wife says to give this place five stars. So I did. Went in here with her the other day to buy some earrings she wanted. Staff was nice and checked with us a few times to see if we needed any help. We walked around looking at everything until the wifey found the pair she was looking for. Their jewelery is very pretty and when my wifey wears their stuff, she makes their stuff look even better (see what I did there? : P ) The shop is a nice little fancy looking place. One cool thing some other reviews have for sure already mentioned is if you go in the month you were born they will give you a 50% discount. Kendra Scott is my all time favorite store to purchase jewelry from as her pieces are timeless and classic. There is a mix of pieces for everyone from those who enjoy simple shapes (e.g. the Elisa pendant necklace or the Danielle drop earrings) to those who gravitate more towards abstract shapes/patterns (e.g. the Tegan Y necklace or the Jaylin statement earrings). There is plenty to choose from and you even have the option of customizing your jewelry by either building a pair of jewelry yourself at the color bar or adding a simple charm to an already stunning piece to add a unique flare to it! Aside from the jewelry, everyone here at this particular storefront is always on top of their game and willing to help you if you have any questions. You will always be greeted and employees here usually make sure to come over and help you if they're not already busy helping someone else. The store is clean and the displays are well kempt. I'm writing this review though in light of my most recent visit from which I left extremely pleased. I had called the store ahead of time to ask about the stock of three certain items and then when I stepped foot in store this very young lady (others addressed her as jasmine[jazmin? jasmyn?]) came up to help me and I guess she was the one I spoke to on the phone because she remembered all three items I had inquired about and even took the initiative to set them aside for me even though I never requested for them to be or even mentioned that I would be visiting the store the day of! I appreciated that small, simple act very much. :) Throughout my visit she remained helpful and would check in with me here and there to ask if I needed any help always with a smile on her face. This location has really went downhill. I went in with my boyfriend In hopes of finding a birthday present for a good friend of ours. No one even approached us after being in the store for 15 minutes+, and keep in mind they were not busy at all. So we went up to the front desk to ask some questions in regards of the different stones, and necklace options. The young girl with blonde hair working the front desk was extremely rude the moment I approached her with a question, even my boyfriend saw her rolling her eyes at us. I'm not sure if it was because we weren't dressed fancy or "appropriately" we had just got done with some quick lunch so we weren't exactly dressed to impress, either way that's disgusting behavior. Save your time go to Pandora.. much better service and better quality jewelry. read more

I love the jewelry here bc it doesn't fade. I love the option of her color bar if you want to select your own stone for certain pieces. I was super excited to find out a Kendra Scott location was opening up closer to Pasadena. I usually had to go to the location in Rice Village since I work in the Medical Center. I finally made it to the Baybrook location to get my 50% off birthday discount (Thank you Kendra Scott!) but was really disappointed with the service there. I was not approached by ANYONE. I guess I don't look like I can afford Kendra Scott but trust me, I CAN! I had to find someone that worked there and asked them if they could help me! But WHY should I have to do that? They should be friendly and make ALL customers feel welcomed. So that rubbed me the wrong way. The associate that checked me out was very friendly though so I do appreciate that. I have talked to 2 other people that have been to this location and they said the same thing about the staff. "Stuck up" is what they both said. So I know I'm not the only one. And many of the reviews here on Yelp had the same complaint! I usually buy Kendra Scott online and will probably continuing doing that. I have a lot of respect for Kendra Scott and LOVE her jewelry. Hopefully, the staff at this location can get some training in customer service. I will give them another chance but if nothing has changed with their customer service skills, then I won't be back. read more

Kendra Scott has become my new obsession, especially since this location opened at Baybrook. I'm loving all of the stores and restaurants in the new expansion part of the mall. Almost every time I have visited the store, I have received good service (though the first time I went when they first opened, it wasn't so great, but they have improved). There's usually one or two ladies at the door to greet customers and usually an employee is available to help. Sometimes there's a ton of employees kind of standing around if the store isn't busy, but it helps when there are a lot of customers because the employees are available to focus their time on one or two customers. This store is smaller than the Rice Village location and may be a little bit smaller than the City Centre location. The employees that have helped me out are very knowledgeable about the jewelry and are helpful with providing suggestions for stone and metal combinations. Something else that I've noticed at this particular location is that they allow organizations from around the community to fundraise at the store. Usually it's something like 20% of sales that are donated to the organization if the customer chooses to participate. The bottles of water and mini cupcakes are also a plus (because let's face it, a short visit can turn into a long one in no time). I think it's awesome that they support local organizations while also selling beautiful jewelry! read more

So I've been to this Kendra Scott about five times before, and I wasn't impressed with their service. The ones in San Antonio were my first experience, and those locations are on point. However, there have been two instances that were amazing. The first time was when I went in to use my birthday discount. It was a mildly busy day, but an associate came up to me, asked what I wanted, and came back with many options. I appreciated that she really listened to what I wanted and took the time to show me styles and colors I wouldn't have considered. She was great, but I failed to get her name. The second time was just yesterday. I had stopped by to place an order for the GEF fundraiser on my way out of town. My card was never charged, so I figured they'd charge it when I picked it up. I went by yesterday to grab it, and it was apparently never processed. Since a different associate made the mistake, the one who was helping me (Sydney, I believe) actually gave me my earrings for free while still donating to the GEF fundraiser. In the midst of an extremely busy day for them (their 1st birthday celebration), she really took the time to help me and show me that exceptional Kendra Scott customer service I know and love. So I've read some of the unsavory reviews for this location and I was very apprehensive as I am a woman of color. I beg you to read this review. I had been planning to stop in for over a month in order to surprise my mother who would be visiting me for my birthday. I knew that during your birthday month you get half off one piece of jewelry and I wanted to treat my mom. So despite the reviews, I ventured out with her in tow determined to be served no matter what. Upon arrival, I spotted the associate I had spoken to on my recon trip a month before, but she was busy with another customer. After looking at a few pieces, my mom was approached and asked for help as was I by another sales person. Once we had located the necklace and earrings my mom wanted, Amy S. the associate I wanted, was free and asked if we needed any help. I told her yes and that she had provided me with information when I stopped in previously. I relayed to her that it was my birthday and that I wanted to treat my mother who was visiting me from another state. While she rang us up I continued to make conversation amongst us by saying I loved the necklace my mom picked out, but that I would have gotten it in vintage gold instead of the rose gold; and that perhaps one day when I had more money to spend I'd get the same so that we would have matching necklaces. Amy said she needed to finish ringing us up in the back and a little while later came out, finished packaging up our purchases, but then walked around the counter and presented the vintage gold version of my mom's necklace. She told me that on behalf of Kendra Scott, she was gifting me the necklace. Amy said she loved the fact that I was treating my mom instead of myself the day before my birthday. I was so stunned and speechless as I've NEVER been treated so kindly by an establishment in my life. I won't lie...Amy made me cry right there in the store lol. She was so kind to us and it is something I will never forget. After our hug fest was over and we were leaving, another associate ran out after us to make sure we got 15% off each for our next visit and gave us the story cards for our necklaces. Trust me when I say this store is trying to turn around their customer service!! I didn't say anything to my mom about the reviews and she said she never felt any racism or discrimination while we were there. I noted in total 3 associates came up to us during our visit, which is in stark contrast to the other comments. I do believe the complaints have been heard and addressed. Yes I realize that the store closes at 6 but we were just going to browse and I had a few questions. My daughter was walking ahead of me and when she went to reach for the door handle an associate grabbed it and it slammed shut. Before you purchase any Kendra Scott earrings, be sure that you are aware of their earring policy. I received a pair of $120 Frankie Ear Climbers in brass and a small stone stone fell out the first time I wore them. I immediately went to their store at Baybrook and they wanted to charge me one half of one earring. It didn't matter that they were new and I had the gift receipt, that is their policy. The manager finally made a "one time" exception and gave me a new pair. Totally do not stand behind their product. Totally disappointing! read more

I'm giving this Kendra location 3 stars because it's hit or miss. Sometimes I walk in and get good service, sometimes I struggle to get any service. I understand this is a newer store, but the customer service should be top notch to keep ladies coming back here! This is the closest Kendra store to me, so I plan on making many shopping trips to this location, but at this time, I would rather drive to Rice Village and work with their friendly staff! The staff here tends to stand around and not really interact much with customers unless they are asked to. Of course, I love the jewelry and am always excited to see what Kendra comes out with! Placed an online order for curbside pickup and later decided to add another item so I had to call and cancel the previous and place a new one, or so I thought. It turns out the lady that helped me "cancel" my order never actually did. I pick up my items and was left waiting on curbside literally 48 minutes. They took forever to answer the phone both times I called, and I even had to call 40 minutes in (because I had never waited so long on any curbside service) and sure enough they had forgotten all about me. The second lady that helped me when I called to remind them I'm outside even asked me "which" order I was picking up and I said only one? The other was previously cancelled earlier that day. So not one but two employees failed to cancel my order. I called days later to check on the status of my refund and initially they were unable to assist me over the phone, they wanted me to go to the store only to show them my receipt and *hopefully* be able to refund me. She went back and forth with their manager until they contacted customer service to be able to refund me. Which I appreciate. And the girl that helped me get my refund was nice about my situation which I also appreciate. Wished I had gotten better service all around since so many things went wrong during my purchase but hopefully they can improve in these areas. read more

Walked in and had zero customer service. No one greeted us or offered to help throughout our visit. We took our selection to the cashier and had to ask her to get us a "fresh" pair of earrings from the back at checkout. When we left, we left behind our Santa pictures that we had just taken. We realized they were left behind 30 minutes later and returned to the store (we knew exactly which stores we visited). I walked in and asked "Did we leave our pictures here at this register?" to which Sara immediately replied "Oh, those are in the trash." Without regard to what they were or any attempt to either put them aside for our return or turn them in to the Santa station, Sara simply trashed them. She claimed she didn't know what they were but her response when asked for them was exact and immediate. Additionally, after pulling them from the trash (they were covered in liquid & bent), Sara was smug and condescending stating "They look just fine to me." It's a shame that one experience can completely destroy a reputation of a company and leave an image engrained in a customer's mind. We will NOT be returning!!! read more

If you are a nurse who has worked a 10 hour shift don't shop here with messy hair and wearing scrubs because they will not help you. I was not approached by anyone had to go look for someone to help me. I had a feeling that is was how I was dressed and my hair was a mess. Which should be coming from the gym. I felt like they were stuck up. I had better service from the Woodlands location. The customer service is terrible. I'm willing to drive to another location who values my money. This was my first visit ever to a Kendra Scott store and I have heard nothing but good so I was super excited as it is my anniversary and my hubby said to go something pretty to wear to dinner. Talk a about leaving deflated..... I walked in and was not greeted, I had time to browse around try on a piece or two. I even had time to go online and compare prices! During all of this I kept looking towards the counter as one person was being assisted and three employees were chit chatting putting cards in the little bags. Not one of them addressed me or asked me if I needed help. Needless to say I loved a piece that I knew a few friends had too. I had to walk to the counter to ask what it was called and get assisted. The girls doing the bags looked at me like I was bothering them and I had to wait for the girl helping someone else to finish before I could get helped. It doesn't even end their! The girl whom helped me talked to me as if I should already know what I wanted and I had to keep asking her questions because I was confused, again this was my first visit. She didn't even try to sell me anything more? I had to go online later to look up warranty and care because she didn't tell me anything other than I have 30 days to return it! --- Cut to hours later, same day! Hubby and I went to dinner for our anniversary and I told him I wanted to get an extender for the chain as it was a little shorter than I expected (again a trip that could have been avoided had I had better service earlier). We make a stop in, fingers crossed I get better service, and yes I was greeted. But that was the end of any real help. I explain why I'm their, and the girl remembers me and the silver chain I bought. She then goes to the back and returns with two gold extenders, she explains they don't have silver. I ask if I can try them on a chain, she did oblige but hands everything to me to connect and put on. Okay, I'll do your job. Needless to say the length was better and I asked to order one since they didn't have silver. She proceeds to tell me she can put me on a computer to create a log in and order one or I can order it online at home, either way it's free shipping. The girls behind the lemonade and cupcakes playing on the computer start snickering. I'd had enough and walked out. -- I will never return to a Kendra Scott store. I love Kendra Scott earrings but recently I dropped one if my large stone earrings. I took it to the store at Bay Brook and ask if they could replace the stone. I of course was willing to pay a replacement fee. She said the best she could do was give me 15% off a new pair of earrings. That's pathetic. I paid a lot of money for these earrings. I was very disappointed to hear that the earrings my husband bought for me (using his birthday month discount) could not be exchanged. I didn't want a refund, only to exchange them for some lighter earrings as the ones he picked out were way too heavy. I was told that I could exchange but I would only be given 1/2 credit and would have to pay the other 1/2 out of pocket. Why? I only wanted to exchange. ??? Doesn't quite seem fair. The sales associates are rude and not accommodating. I have spent hundreds of dollars at different Kendra stores and have never encountered anybody as snobby. All three associates refused to exchange a purchase with a receipt, tags, and only purchased 10 days prior. If you want a pleasant shopping experience do not shop at this store. If you must get Kendra merchandise a trip to Rice Village will be worth your while. read more
