i feel like i got scammed. took my car in for 2 tires and an…read morealignment a week and a half ago. $550. after i left, car pulls to the right a bit and the tire pressure won't come on (it worked up until i dropped the car off). came back today to get the alignment fixed and tpms looked at. they scanned the sensors and one of the tires that got replaced has a dead sensor (suspicious how it died exactly when they worked on it and none of the sensors show low battery). so they replace the dead sensor and i ask to get the old one back. now, it is important to note that i have had oem wheels and tires on this car until last september when i got just the front tires repaced (this is important because that means i have oem sensors) when they gave me "my dead sensor" back and it was an autel sensor not oem. what this leads me to believe is that the sensor got broken when they mounted the tires last week and they just kept their mouth shut. i have worked at shops and mavis specifically so i know how often and easily tpms sensors get broken off and how much mavis likes to hide that. now that i paid $150 extra for their mistake i feel like i got scammed.
