The sign had 3 numbers on it that could be seen from the road...3.23, 3.35 and then price for premium...don't remember exactly. I pull up to the pump and realize the price on the sign is for cash and then for credit but its not marked. I still filled up with my card but that's only because I was very low. I asked the worker at the pump if the manager was on duty. He wasn't. I asked him about the price and he said it was clearly marked on the sign and I said that I couldn't see it from the highway. He didn't seem to care and explained to me that the prices have changed after another company took over the station. I continued with the same idea that it was false advertising with the prices on the sign. I also said that he has lost me as a customer after this transaction. He said that it didn't matter and there would be another customers behind me. Unacceptable business practices. I've also driven by twice since and coming south on route 1 the cash and credit words can barely be seen. The opposite way, they are not there.

Most noteworthy as the store where Bill & Ted began their Excellent Adventure, Circle-K is not a huge brand on the east coast but it certainly runs circles around the uniformly moribund and grotesque 7-11. The first thing you notice is that the place is clean and the coffee station doesn't look like it belongs in a prison commissary. As of yet I haven't mustered the courage necessary to try the pre-packaged food but perhaps that may happen one day on a dare. Or, perhaps not. It's not quite Wawa but it will do in a pinch.

I'd do it myself but only then do these sleepy-time spectres arise from their slumber long enough to admonish me for breaking a raft of state laws that forbids taking the nozzle into my own hands. Their constant lethargy is all the more confounding since there's a gleaming Valero mini-mart about fifty feet up the road that routinely matches Raceway penny for penny on price and has you in and out in five minutes or less with absolutely no lecture on the legal perils of self-administered petroleum. I came here to fill up my tank and paid cash, My gas came to 34 so I gave the attendant a $50 bill…read moreand then he proceeded to ask me for an extra dollar which I thought was strange but I gave it to him and in return he gave me $15 change and he did not think I would realize so I pulled away and when I realized what he did I reversed back and told him he gave me the wrong amount of money and he proceeded to just give me one dollar back and I pulled out my calculator and showed him that he had to give me back $17 because I gave him $51 in the end he did give me my money back but the other attendant was also talking to him in his language and they were laughing. This is not acceptable behavior and I will not come back to this gas station again I proceeded to tell the attendant he shouldn't do that ever again to anybody because you should not take peoples money without them giving you a tip.
