You can decide if you like certain styles over others. Ask for Augustine. Amazingly knowledgeable and attentive to your comfort. My husband said his massuer was also excellent. If you have an injury, tell them. If you are there for four or more days, make two appointments so you don't end up sore. It is a better for an injury not to do too much. I have a leg and hip injury where I need massage and stretching by people that know what they are doing. Augustine was constantly checking in on how I was doing. They ask you what you are comfortable with. Do you prefer this or that? You can keep all your clothes on to stripping down to the disposable thong. You are always covered. They have rooms upstairs and downstairs, and everything is super freshly cleaned.

The salon is spic and span and very relaxed, so much so that I wanted to nap throughout my entire manicure. The manicure seat is full of soft pillows and bright colors, very chic and plush. The manicurist was super sweet and did a fantastic job, communicated as best she could in English or just simple hand movements. My mani included a lovely hand scrub with warm water rinsing and massage. They have all of the latest and greatest colors from Essie, as it's an Essie sponsored spa! All of a sudden, my friend and I who had the same services done simultaneously got charged different prices. The woman at the register claimed they'd done some extra services for one of us. She wasn't even clear which of us had received the extra services. We started and ended our mani pedis at the same time, so it's really not even possible. I think she's the owner, and she was not the one to check us in. My friend speaks fluent Spanish, so it wasn't a language issue; although perhaps she was trying to scam the American tourists.
