My first time watching a movie at this branch. I came for opening showings for Spiderman and I was…read morevery shocked at how chill this branch felt like!!! There's a convenient parking garage located right beside the theatre and you can easily walk in and have your tickets scanned before going downstairs into the theatre. There's a concessions area with plenty of staff and even though the vibes here felt more chill and calm, it wasn't like the theatre was dead. The staff here were very friendly and personable. I appreciated their great customer service as my friend group and I were very excited to watch Spiderman. The movie screen and the chairs were great quality. Everything about this spot was perfect and everything ran smoothly. We loved our experience here!!! We had Theater 1 and the recliner seats were comfortable and even though we sat all the way on the sides, we had a very good view of the large screen and felt immersed. The popcorn was surprisingly cold upon eating and tasted alright, but overall nothing too unpleasant it was probably just not a fresh batch. I also love that there's also a bar here with movie-themed drinks so you have good options here!!! I wish there was more cardboard stands/photo ops for the movies because there was only one so something to note. I do know this theatre is on the smaller side so it makes sense. I hope both sides of the escalators also can be fixed because it didn't look too good walking in and needing to walk down the stairs because only one of the escalators was functional and moving up. So I just think maybe more maintenance and upgrade into those things could be a big help.

I didn't realize that there are multiple AMC theaters-three to be exact-in the Burbank Town Center…read moreregion until I recently stumbled upon this one. The entrance is only a few feet from the (free) garage, making it extremely convenient when you're rushing to make the previews. Service was prompt, friendly & efficient & this theater has the reclining seats that have spoiled me. Why go anywhere else?!

The Eight is still pretty great…read more Easy theater located at the tippy top floor of Burbank's Town Center. AMC Burbank Town Center 8, is an eight theatre cinema with a Concessions Stand and MacGuffins Bar. Easy access to restrooms that are very clean and ADA accessible. They also happen to be along the access points for Screens 5 through 8. Screens 1 - 4 are to the right of the entrance, opposite the Bar and Stand, they have a small staircase with a lift to the left for wheelchairs, strollers, and those who may need or desire to use it. Nice reclining seats, good AC and friendly AMC staff. While the 6 is more indie and the 16 massive, the 8 is the perfect blend. Easy parking at the Town Center in any direction though near Macy's and the AMC 6 is actually the easiest. No Dolby, Prime or IMAX, but you can catch Real 3D flix and the classic Laser experience, usually with more of a mellow crowd even for bigger films. Since as long as I can remember AMC has a no outside food and beverage policy like most major movie theaters, at time they may look the other way, but highly recommend enjoy a meal before or after in Downtown Burbank, at the food court or grabbing some snacks at World Market on the first level. Not a big concessions person but I do enjoy the Impossible Nuggets from time to time or a small candy with a beverages. A List has free beverage upgrades for drinks and popcorn. It's much more intimate than most AMC locations (the 6 is even more intimate). Never had an issue here, though sometimes in the summer the AC has had an issue or two, but typically under control. Enjoyed Sentimental Value here recently, Flow (2024), Barbie (for my third rewatch), lots of Oscar noms, Indie Flicks, Horror and a ride variety on solo outings (self date nights), date nights with bae and with the film lovers crew. Hoping to see a few more things here soon.

I came here on my birthday with my husband. We had two full cups of hot tea from Porto's Bakery…read morebecause this theater doesn't offer hot tea, and I'm 9 months pregnant. I don't want to end up with a sore throat from cold drinks, so I needed something hot. From the moment we walked in, an employee told us we had to finish our full cups of tea before going inside. We asked to speak with a manager, and when he arrived, he immediately started yelling at me and my husband, saying we had to either finish the drinks immediately or throw them away. He even blocked our way to the concession stand and physically prevented us from ordering popcorn while we finished our tea. This was completely ridiculous because we were not trying to enter the theater with the drinks. We simply wanted to save time by ordering popcorn while finishing our tea. After yelling at a pregnant woman on her birthday and her husband, we were ultimately forced to throw away two full cups of hot tea because our movie was about to start and we had not even had a chance to drink them. The entire situation was unnecessary. It created a lot of stress, ruined the mood of my birthday, and could have been handled with basic courtesy and common sense. There was absolutely no reason to be so aggressive or refuse to give us a few minutes to finish our drinks.

Despite the older structural look, Cinemark did retroactively install electronic Luxury Lounger reclining seats in the auditoriums. Because it sits slightly off the beaten path compared to the massive Regal over at the NoHo West complex, this Cinemark is famous locally for being a quiet, uncrowded haven during weekday matinees. We went to watch "Backrooms" a creepy movie about a dimension with endless luminal spaces. The theaters halls matched the movies vibe perfectly! After we finished the movie and walked out, It felt like we had stepped into the horror movie itself, large empty, completely silent theater that's something creepy you notice about this theater how completely silent it is other places play, soft music, especially in the bathrooms. We saw it in theatre 5 and upon viewing other reviews, SOMEONE ELSE had this same exact issue/experience in the same theatre 10 days prior! Meaning there was no extensive cleaning done at all. On top of that, I hated that the screen for our movie was up so high you needed to crane your neck up to watch the movie even when being fully reclined back all the way in the seats. The popcorn was stale with no flavoring and I put a bit of butter because I didn't want too much fats. The pepperoni pizza was surprisingly good and cooked well. However, the rest of the experience made this movie theatre a 1 star for me instantly.

There are no hand sanitizers available for visitors to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between visitors. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty decent, but I was warned by a friend of mine to park on the street and then walk on over because getting out of the parking lot can be a pain. I did check out the parking lot even though I parked on the street and walked on over, and it is massive and the spots look spacious. I was there during a private event, and all the spots were taken by the time I got there, and I also got there early. So many visitors had to park on the street anyways. Always read the signs when parking on the streets. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, tidy, and organized. The main theater has a digital console and superb acoustics. I recently saw Avatar: Fire and Ash in 3D here. It was an invite only / private screening with a Q&A event. So fricken cool! Dope viewing experience! Heads up, the women's bathroom is on the left right when you enter the building. Men's bathroom is on the right. My biggest gripe about this theater is why would you only put 3 stalls in the women's bathroom?!? The line before and after the film was hella long. Disney, please fix this issue. Even the men's restroom line was very long before and after the movie. The film was 3 hours and 17 minutes long, so everyone was scrambling for the bathroom after the film had ended. Please do better, Disney. Staff: The staff here are very nice, welcoming, friendly, and courteous. Security here is pretty good. Overall experience: I would LOVE to come back again for a private screening and Q&A. Ben, if you are reading this, THANK YOU SO FRICKEN MUCH! You are THE best! I had to see Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" at this theater in Los Feliz. You could pay at the box office or order your tickets on the website. I bought my ticket online and just had my QR code scanned at the theater entrance by an employee with an iPad. Walked into the lobby and joined the line for the concessions stand. There is popcorn, candy, soft drinks and also adult beverages: beer and wine. After getting my popcorn I walked into the huge theater and it was amazing. Egyptian style architecture, a huge closed red curtain that hides the screen and the seats a comfortable with ample leg room. The same employee that scanned my online ticket came to the front of the movie screen and greeted us with a warm hello, introduced the film, told us proper movie etiquette (no filming or taking pictures of the movie and to please take your trash out with you when you leave the theater) and let us know there was 15 minutes of previews including a Bugs Bunny cartoon. So cool! Will definitely come back to watch more movies here!

Happy to say, virtually nothing of the classic "Egyptian themed" decor has changed. Karloff's mummy would feel right at home. Tarantino is definitely the right guy to have purchased it. Among other pluses, there's a handprint and signature gallery outside, obviously referencing The Chinese, but with a much hipper roster of honorees. Then, there's the stated mission of screening only film prints. Caught the "Kill Bill Saga" in 70mm and, a few weeks later, the return engagement of P.T. Anderson's "One Battle After Another", this time also in 70. It had originally shown there in Vistavision, the format in which it was shot. Anyway, I live in Atwater Village, so it's just a few minutes away. I plan to return often.

When I order "fresh" popcorn, I expect it to be at least a bit warm but this popcorn was pretty cold. It's still decent, but buttery popcorn is just not as tasty when it's cold. We thought it was interesting and unusual that there was no one checking our tickets to let us into the theater. You could basically just walk into the theater without showing any proof of ticket. The staff seemed pretty attentive but then again I didn't order much. We were allowed into the theater about 5 minutes before the showing, but it makes sense that they probably have more to clean due to more plates, cups, etc. The bathrooms were okay, missing toilet seat covers and low on toilet paper, but they reeked of urine. My husband mentioned the men's restroom being very dirty. Also, I would've preferred it to be a bit cooler in the theater. They definitely had AC but with the summer heat, it would be nice to keep it a little cooler in the theater. The seats are definitely a bit worn out and some have been taped, but they are reclining and still decent. Overall, I'm not sure if I would return here but it's really not as bad as the other reviews made it seem. Maybe it depends on the day? I'm not sure.

Absolutely horrible. We came here for a dine in experience…read morefor our daughter to enjoy as her own treat. The food and drinks were about $200 dollars spent and it arrived all cold. It was not as pictured in there online catalog or even what was shown at the ordering kiosks or menus. The popcorn was stale. The jalepeno flavor we got for us adults was gross and soggy there was only 3 slices of jalepeno inside. It's like they just dumped juice on top and threw in whatever they had in the kitchen. The nacho cheese sauce had chunks of tomato inside and plastic. Yeah, there was Plastic inside the sauce. The churros were hard so my kid couldn't eat them. The burgers were decent however they poured that same nacho cheese all over it and it took away the good flavors with that weird nacho medicine melted crayon taste. The fries were the part that we tried to get through because we were hungry. The sweet tea we ordered was not regular sweet tea it tastes like watered down grapefruit and jasmine flowers. It was chemical tasting. My daughter wanted mozzarella sticks and they came rock hard and cold. The food was awful for almost 200 dollars! The lobby was pretty when we came in I was like wow how awesome, but when we got into the auditorium the seats had food and napkins popcorn and trash on the seats and floor still. I was a manager for another well known theater so seeing this let me know the staff isn't doing their job at all. I kindly asked for staff to come wipe down our seats and trays to which she saw the mess and said oh geez okay yeah yeah let me come back and wipe it down. Our original seats had nacho cheese on the seat part and the arm rests so of course we're NOT sitting down. We were waiting for 15 minutes for them to come clean it. in we decide to move to another row since there is no one to else in the auditorium to watch the movie . When we moved, we saw that row also still had trash and sticky trays of spilled icee drinks from whoever previously sat there. She came in and started spraying the cleaning solutions on the trays with no warning and sprayed my husbands shorts which caused bleach spots now. She sprayed over the drinks which I hurried to grab my daughters but couldn't get my cup in time. That was very upsetting because why wouldn't you say something and let me move my food/drinks first?? Also hello?? Spray the rag away from guests faces ?? We already spent so much and traveled hours away to come here and see this and make it special for our daughter so we stayed through the movie entirely. When we were leaving there were roaches everywhere and a random centipede looking worm on the staircase. The trash cans were overfilled and the restrooms were so bad! We will never come back here again.
