We visited this AMC on Christmas Eve to see Zootopia 2. Unfortunately, the projector was having…read moretechnical difficulties, so the movie was delayed for an hour & shown without previews. The staff did a great job of making up for it by distributing Zootopia ears, & cookies to the kids. Once the movie played, it was a great experience! I'd still rate this theater a 5/5 since they did their best to make up for the issue!

The customer service was extremely poor and the staff were very unprofessional and unhelpful. Instead of trying to assist customers or explain things politely, they created unnecessary problems and made the entire experience uncomfortable. The theater itself did not feel clean or welcoming. The place smelled unpleasant and did not look well maintained, which completely ruined the experience. The food was also very disappointing. It was dry and tasted like it had been sitting there for a long time. For the prices they charge, the quality should be much better. What disappointed me the most was the attitude of the staff. Customer service here is honestly some of the worst I have experienced anywhere. Instead of making customers feel welcome, they make you feel like you are bothering them. Overall, this was a terrible experience from start to finish. I will definitely not be coming back, and I strongly suggest others think twice before visiting this location. There are many other theaters where you will be treated with respect and actually enjoy your time.

I've Been coming to this AMC since it was Pacific Theatre after it changed after COVID!!! It has…read morealways been the same! Very spacious but can be more up to date!! Remodeling can help, but I love the nostalgia of it. Movies use to be like this, no recliner, no heated or cool seats. It feels good to sometimes to have the old school ways when simplistic and basic is what we all knew! Now don't get me wrong I do love the innovative movie theaters, but sometimes it's good to get the retro feeling. I feel if you don't like it here and it's stadium amenities it's not for you! Came on a Friday and business was definitely booming... so overall I have no complaints. I come here from time to time because it's always availability!! It's convenient right next to Northridge Mall and plenty of parking!!! I will come back for sure!!! My seats weren't that bad either. -Marshay D.

I love going to the movies, I'm an AMC A-List member, and I make it a point to see at least two…read moremovies a month. But my experience yesterday watching Obsessions was incredibly disappointing. I'm especially upset because I grew up coming to this exact theater all the time as a kid back when it was under Pacific Theaters. I never remember the service being this terrible, nor the theater itself being in such a sad state of disrepair. We were seated in Theater 2, in the back right-hand corner of the left section (facing the screen). The lack of upkeep is shocking. The large sound-dampening board along the wall was completely coming off and was literally touching my chair. When I tried to force it back out of my space, it looked like it was about to pop completely off the wall. Then, the moment I fully sat back and leaned into my seat, the entire front end of the chair collapsed forward, causing me to slip right off onto the floor. Because the chair was entirely broken, we had to move down a row, completely ruining our seating preference. While the broken seat ruined our comfort, I am honestly most upset about the concession service. I paid extra out of pocket for a soda when we arrived, with my card clearing the charge at 10:40 PM. When I went out to get a refill at 11:30 PM, every single soda machine had already been turned off. What makes this absolutely crazy is that it was a Saturday night--one of the busiest nights of the week--yet staff was already shutting down amenities while our movie still had an hour left and multiple auditoriums hadn't even let out. I paid for a drink that comes with refills, but I was only allowed the initial fill because the staff wanted to pre-close early. It's a shame to see a place I have so many good memories of turn into a place with hazardous seating and lazy management. AMC needs to do better.

No crazy lines at the entrance, no waiting for snacks, and honestly... I loved the old school Pepto Bismol colored bathroom. The seats are comfortable, and seating is first-come, first-serve. It made the whole experience feel unique. Keep places like this alive before they disappear and get swallowed by capitalism and greedy corporations. I'll definitely be coming here for all the movies I'd like to see.

As a first time visitor, the street access, parking and location of the cinema was somewhat unclear. But once I found the downstairs location, it gave pleasant impressions of a simpler 80's/90's time of moviegoing without today's sometimes excessive extra amenities. This feeling was further reinforced upon seeing their offerings of previously used film posters for free taking away, bringing back great memories of old video stores and sometimes cinemas that would give that same special opportunity to patrons. Inside, the vibe is a bit worn, but still welcoming, and the pricing seems to be slightly more modest than one might expect. The film I chose was on a larger screen. The sound was not fabulous, especially for a dialogue heavy film. It was surprising to see the seats had not been upgraded to the popular recliner style. But this also fit with the laid back slightly retro vibe of the place. I hope they continue to offer curated choices for a good while to come.
