    Freud on Cocaine
    Carmen G.

First time at this theater. It was very nice and cozy. The temperature of the theater was just right. Acoustic was very good .The director Mr. Rasmussen was very nice, also the bartender. I went to see the play Freud on cocaine, great comedy. The play was very witty. It really made me laugh.

Compared to other theaters I like this spot because it's more affordable. You can pick your seats when you purchase your tickets which is great. Theater is 2 stories, with a concession stand on both levels. They have the usual movie theater snacks, popcorn and drinks. The popcorn is not bad nor was the pizza but not amazing. The theaters themselves are big and spacious. The seats recline and you have so much room. Sometimes it can get a little chilly so bring a jacket. Overall great movie experience.

We saw it in theatre 5 and upon viewing other reviews, SOMEONE ELSE had this same exact issue/experience in the same theatre 10 days prior! Meaning there was no extensive cleaning done at all. On top of that, I hated that the screen for our movie was up so high you needed to crane your neck up to watch the movie even when being fully reclined back all the way in the seats. The popcorn was stale with no flavoring and I put a bit of butter because I didn't want too much fats. The pepperoni pizza was surprisingly good and cooked well. However, the rest of the experience made this movie theatre a 1 star for me instantly.

If you choose the garage, the theatre provides four hours of validation at their machine, so just make sure to scan your parking ticket before you leave. Bathroom: The bathrooms were relatively clean and fully stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, seat covers, and everything else you might need. This was a pleasant surprise since I came late at night around 10:30 PM, and usually by that time everything is running low. WiFi: They offer complimentary WiFi, which was great. Recliners: - The reclining chair was comfortable, although it made quite a bit of noise when adjusting it, so I'd recommend settling into your position before the movie starts since it can be distracting. - Each seat has a pull-out table that you can extend or fold inward, giving you a mini table for food and drinks. It was extremely convenient and something I've never seen before. Super cool! View: We sat in F7 and F8 toward the back and had a clear view of the screen. The picture was clear and the audio sounded great. Drinks: I ordered a medium Icee and it was surprisingly large. Cons: My main complaint was the behavior of some guests who were disruptive throughout the film, constantly on their phones and even playing videos out loud at times. When they left, they also left trash, food, and their drinks scattered all over the seats and floor.

The lounge area was nice, the staff was friendly and the popcorn was hot. Unfortunately, the standard seats were very uncomfortable, stiff, upright, and barely reclined. Who says malls are dead? Apparently they have not been to Fashion Square because it was poppin!…read more I have not been to a mall in ages. Normally, they're just not my thing. I prefer shopping with individual merchants in my neighborhood. But eventually, we all have to take a trip to the Apple Store, or to a department store. It's inevitable. What I forgot about is how friendly all the merchants are. I parked at the wrong end of the mall and couldn't seem to find my bearing. All I had to do was ask any Merchant and they all directed me with a smile to where I needed to go. Even when I didn't buy anything from them. People were just very accommodating and happy. I guess malls are a happy place. Retail therapy is real. I can't speak much to value, because of course prices range from hide below, depending up on where you're going. I went to Bloomingdale's for lunch and then I went to H&M for jeans. High to low. I must say that everything is so convenient. I picked up things I didn't really intend to because I remember I needed them and I was there. All in all, I would say it was a great experience. I'll probably be going back to the mall again.

The reason for that is simply because I wish so very badly I had found this school sooner and am having a hard time reconciling how much money I threw away paying teachers who just loved listening to the sound of their own voice). I have gone to almost 20 different acting schools both in England and the United States and I can say, with total confidence, that Max Decker at MAD Acting Studio is the most brilliant teacher with whom I have ever had the pleasure of studying. It took one evening in class with Max for me to instantly mourn all the money I realized I had honestly wasted studying under teachers who, at the end of the day, just spent endless hours pontificating nothing more than their love for the sound of their own voice. Teachers who, if they worked as actors at all, had maybe had one or two jobs in their entire "careers" and felt that was enough for them to call themselves teachers. Max has not only worked in this industry a long time and accrued an enviable resume, he really knows how to teach others to do this thing really, really well. He won't blow smoke up your skirt and always say how great you to keep you spending money to stay in his class. He will actually -teach- you to be a better actor. He will call you out on what's getting in your way and offer invaluable, constructive help. He offers a wide range of classes including: * Dramatic improvisation (not going for the joke, but giving you invaluable tools you can use for your scripted work), * Script analysis, and * How to successfully audition and self-tape If you currently find yourself in a class where you feel you're spending a bunch of money to not really learn anything new or, if you're looking for a place that will finally teach you the tools you need to be a better actor, MAD Acting Studio is the place you need to go.
