After reading glowing reviews, I called Hyperion to ask if hey could schedule the installation, expecting to wait a few days. Instead the guy on the phone said to bring it in at 10:30 the next day. I didn't get there as a tweak in the door itself caused my overhead lights to stay on and drain my battery. I arranged for a friend to take me home, expecting to leave the car for at lrast the afternoon. But manager (I did not get hois name) said it would just be a half hour. He called over a ytechnician and 20 minutes later the car was ready! I had some body damage and the manager quoted me a price apologetically, noting that Lexus Parts are super expensive. I said well, it's a 15 year old car - probably isn't even worth the cost of the repairs. I started to walk away and stopped, turned and said, "Wait, I haven't paid you!" And he said, "no charge". I was dumbfounded and only hope I thanked him emough. Great work, fast, and even complimentary. I'm in awe. Go there!

I was not able to go that week, however the following week I was nearby so figured I would just stop by and see if he could service my vehicle, but let him know I needed my car back by a certain time. He called about an hour before I needed it saying they were wrapping up and shared the final price which ended up being a few dollars less than the original estimate. Avo's old fashioned personality makes you want to sit and hang out with him for hours on end while Tony is fixing your car. Jennifer is patient and humble. Tony doesn't mind when you interrupt his work to ask him about how engines work. Prices are transparent and much more than fair (I could say a lot more to this but I won't, just go see for yourself). They made my broken Mitsubishi Lancer work long enough for me to buy a new car, then they inspected my new car and made sure I didn't get screwed by the dealership. I haven't done a full exterior house paint job before so I made sure to get at least one other quote. Buddy Paint's estimate was about 20% higher, but I still decided to go with Buddy's because of the 5-Year material & labor warranty (the other company did not offer any warranty) and the feedback from the customer I spoke to. I also felt like Robert would take care of us. The crew was friendly and efficient. They prepped the home well. Robert was responsive when we told him of a few spots that needed extra attention. There was one issue (accidental damage) that I wish would have been proactively handled. But Robert worked with me to resolve to our satisfaction. Overall, we love the new look of of our home. Our neighbors complimented the work. The crew did an excellent job and had great attention to detail. Robert was a great with communication and follow through. I took it in to a place AAA recommended in downtown LA and explain the issue. They told me I needed a new timing chain along with a whole bunch of other stuff and quotes me $4800 for it. This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.

Fred helped me out - he was very friendly and non-intimidating (great for a gal going to an auto shop by herself!) He explained that Tesla tires have some foam, so patching the tire for the nail he found would be $50. It was nice he took the time to explain why it was a certain cost, def appreciated. They have a really nice waiting area with seating + strong AC (it was a hot summer day in LA), I was really impressed. Paid by cash because there's a small fee for credit card. 100% recommend this spot - friendly and service was quick. I was in and out fasttt!

Cons: People in LA drive like shit, therefore, you have to end up spending your precious time taking your car to a body shop. Pros: At Kens, they not only take great care of your car but, more importantly, they know how to take care of people! This was my second time patronizing Kens. Both times because I was rear-ended ‍! If you live in LA long enough, you will get rear-ended again and again. It's, like, yet another tax that gets piled on to the ever-growing pile of taxes. Oof. I personally think that insurance companies should have to compensate you SOMETHING for your time and effort dealing with this sh*t but alas, not the case. So when you're already dealing with an annoying situation that is 100% not of your creation, it's great to have a place you love to make it as painless as possible. Kens is that place. From the pleasant gazebo outside with a water bowl for your pooch to the friendly faces who greet you pleasantly when you walk in to the snacks (yes, snacks!) it's clear that Ken has gone to great lengths to make your experience at his shop as pleasant as possible. I work with small businesses and I can tell you from a lot of experience that nothing matters more than good leadership. Ken and Laura are what we East Coasters refer to as "good people" so you can feel good about spending your (or in this case, Geico's money there). It's very clear that the employees like working there and that makes me very happy. On this particular occasion, there was a minor communication snafu (basically, just the millennials millennialing and not being present/detail oriented). When it was brought to management's attention, Ken and Laura immediately sprang into action and made sure that the rest of my experience was seamless! He even came out to shake my hand and give me a hug when I was picking up my car. The time before that I was dropping off my car in the early AM and Laura (who I cannot resist mentioning is soooo pretty and put together even at 7:30 AM) let me in on the scuttlebutt of Ubers being more expensive than cabs and took the initiative to get me a cab! These people are pure class. They've got that Latin warmth that you just can't fake. Oh and I almost forgot, they detail your car for you! Again, making lemonade out of the lemony situation. I hope not to see Ken any time soon but I look forward to seeing him when I do! read more

i took my car to kens before returning my lease. it had some nice scrapes and dings from being hit in parking lots and on the street as that is the only place i can park at my home. i took my car in to repair these things and was sick of driving around a "messed up" car. i wanted to return my lease early because i was so done with it! after getting my car back, i was so amazed at the phenomenal job that was done. my black beauty was back to her brand new off the dealership lot self. for about 3 weeks i debated on whether i should now get rid of her. let me just say this place is old school, first class service, they are on top of everything, they take care of your car and customer experience is the best I've ever had. Ken's Collision Center in Hollywood, CA is simply great. Great staff and they did an excellent job on my car. The repair looks perfect (front end damage) and the paint job is incredible. Great pride in workmanship. Also, Ken himself, came to my work to do the initial estimation on my car damage. That was very convenient. They are very accommodating and very professional people. This is a long overdue review. Being in LA is nothing short of bumper cars at a carnival. It is nuts out here! I've had 2 brand new leased cars hit in the past 8 years. Not only did the cars have to be fixed but also to spec so the lease return was flawless. Ken is the real deal here in Los Angeles! Both cars passed their lease inspection perfectly, Ken was able to give me the best deal by far (yes I shop around a lot) and they were done timely with plenty of communication. If you must get into a fender bender, try to will it to happen with one of Ken's Collisions employees. I actually found my way to Ken's by accident, after a minor fender bender with one of the shops employees. The owner and his employees were all incredibly gracious, honest and trustworthy. They took excellent care of me and my car free of charge and even provided me with a rental car while the bumper was repaired. Thankfully I haven't had too many occasions to deal with body shops, it can be an intimidating, but Ken and Laura made it a great experience. They were very pro-active in communicating all through the process. In fact I would get updates from them before my insurance company. My car was ready when promised and looked great. I had a fender bender and Ken's collision did an amazing job. They worked with my insurance AAA and even though I didn't have coverage that covered a rental car, they gave me one free! The car looks brand new and they even touched up some minor scratches that weren't covered again free! I couldn't be happier and recommend them 100%. Ken's Collision Center did an awesome job repairing my BMW. I was so afraid that when I picked it up it would look like it had been painted but it was flawless! I couldn't believe it. They even did a couple of little things they didn't have too and didn't say a word about it except "you're welcome". Who does customer service like that these days? This shop caused multiple areas of damage to my car and I would not return…read more The damage was never disclosed to me, not when the work was completed, not when I picked up my car, and not when I paid for the repaint job. I only discovered it once I got home. When I confronted the shop owner, Pat, he admitted to the damages but communication from that point on became challenging and more difficult than it needed to be. There were long gaps without his response and at times the tone felt dismissive or unnecessarily tense, which made the situation even more stressful. I've made many attempts to work with Pat to find a fair and reasonable solution. To this day, I'm actually still waiting for a reply to my last message asking again to discuss a reasonable solution. After repeated non-responses and apathetic communication, it became clear that no compromise would be reached. The only option he is willing to offer is the one solution I clearly stated I'm not comfortable with: bringing my car back this same shop that damaged it in the first place. Given the damages my car received from 5 Stars Automotive, my hesitation is understandable. I even tried to negotiate a different solution by providing multiple repair estimates from other reputable auto shops and he responded by calling this practice "dishonest" (very ironic, I know). I'm leaving this review because I believe it's important to be transparent about my experience. I put my trust in this shop to restore my car's appearance, but instead I'm forced to deal with additional damages they caused.

One when someone backed into me in a parking lot, and another, where I was rearrended while parked in a car wash line. I was referred over to Revive (Vahe and Artur) by some close friends. From the moment I spoke with these gentlemen, I could tell that I had found the right spot to take care of me and my BMW. Vahe and Artur are consummate professionals from beginning to end. They were patient, thorough, informative, and extremely respectful. Not only did they set me at ease while we developed a comfortable working relationship, but they also advocated heavily on my behalf with the liable driver's insurance company, as well as one party who elected to handle things with a cash pay arrangement. They literally handled everything for me from beginning to end, and communicated clearly with me every step of the way. When it came time for optionality with specific repair parts etc., they went over those options and weighed in on what they thought might be best for me before proceeding. They went above and beyond by cleaning up some other parts of my vehicle free of charge, and returned my vehicle to me looking 10 years younger. This was not facilitated by gouging the insurance carrier, but rather, they took it out of THEIR budget to go the extra mile for me. As if all of this was not enough to solidify my complete faith in Revive, I was unfortunately rear-ended five months after I received my vehicle back. The previous two collisions we're relatively minor, however, this time was pretty bad. Once again, they advocated heavily on my behalf with my insurance carrier, as the driver who rear-ended me was driving without insurance. They laid out clearly what the ramifications would be for a total loss and ultimately, we decided to fix the vehicle. Also, my policy doesn't provide for a rental vehicle and these gentlemen provided one of their loaners to me, free of charge. I actually grew quite fond of that loaner LOL. They were able to put my car back together (once again, looking 10 years younger), very quickly, and I was back on the road in MY vehicle in no time. I have since referred several friends over to Revive, and God forbid, if something else happens in the future, I will not even think twice about going elsewhere to fix my vehicle. In conclusion, Vahe and Artur (Revive) are professional, respectful, kind, EXTREMELY ethical, and incredibly talented at their craft. Thank you once again fellas, for all of your wonderful work!
