I've been to LensCrafters in Illinois…read moremany times and have always been pleased with their thoroughness, so when I needed to update my glasses prescription in Colorado, I went to LensCrafters again. Dr. Silver was pleasant and professional. She took her time and had diagnostic instruments more advanced than other doctors have used during my past eye exams. The reason I needed to update my prescription is because I went to Costco to get new glasses and they wouldn't accept my 3-year-old prescription. Costco has an independent optometrist right there, but it would have taken 4-5 days to get an appointment. So I got on the LensCrafters website and was able to book an appointment with Dr. Silver that same day. The next day I took the new prescription back to Costco to get some glasses. I picked those up today. The person at the optical counter praised the quality of the prescription Dr. Silver did after she asked me to check near and far vision wearing my new progressive lens glasses. All in all my experience with Dr. Silver was effortless and very enjoyable.

You can buy glasses at the practice. I sent 900 on tow pair. Within 3 months I had a pair lose a screw and break. All it needed was a new screw. I brought it I and was told I have to make an appt and that it was to difficult to fix. C'mon. I bought a glass repair kit and fixed it. I just expected a bit of support for a now former client. Find a practice that cares about the people as much as the practice.

he absolute worst experience. Sherry Shepherd is a joke of a doctor. Absolutely no bedside manner…read morewhatsoever. She came in the room and didn't even make eye contact until about 5 minutes in and barely looked at me more than 2-3 times the entire visit. The she immediately told me to stop talking as she needed to read what was entered in the computer. When she started reading the narrative for why I was there, and I responded to her question, she immediately placed her hand up to stop me and said she didn't need to hear that right now. She then went through my complaint but literally word for word as she was more preoccupied with typing it into the computer than actually listening to me. Wouldn't let me say more than 2-3 words at a time or said I was talking too fast and she had to type it, and to stop. She then proceeded to say what I was feeling was normal, and I should just take 2 Ibuprofen tablets twice a day, use some artificial tears and I'll be fine. When I reiterated that I was unable to move my eye without pain and had blurred vision and swelling and I literally couldn't function and that I was concerned that those things had only worsened my symptoms thus far, she just said it'll go away and proceeded to attempt to end the visit. I was so upset that I started crying and had to ask her to please listen to me as she continued to ignore my concerns. She eventually stepped out and said she had to check something and left. She ended up giving me a prescription to help but the prescription was not written correctly (should have been drops for just a few days but the Rx was for daily and with 6 months of refills). I left the office in tears as I was so incredibly frustrated. The front office and the assistant who checked me in: fabulous.. so nice! But the doctor, the one person that needed to be attentive, kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable; she was anything but this. Literally the worst experience and I will never return or recommend this doctor or practice.

Everything was explained to me exceptionally well and I learned more about my eyes and vision correction thanks to Dr. Morton taking the time to walk me through everything. I felt very confident in the quality of care that I was receiving.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at an eye doctor--and I've been to many eye doctors…read more I showed up with insurance and was charged over $100 upfront before any exams which was an exam for glasses and contacts. I have never had to pay before an appointment, especially not that much when my insurance typically covers at least most of the exam. After the exam, I was directed to look at glasses but had to practically beg for assistance. When I finally received help from Kim Woods, I felt rushed and pushed toward a pair of metal frames that didn't suit me. I was told they would be saved to my profile, but I made it clear I wanted to come back with my partner before making a final decision. On my second visit, I returned with my partner and selected a completely different pair--plastic frames. However, when I came back weeks later to pick up my glasses, they had ordered the original metal frames instead. When I brought this up, I was told those were the frames I chose, which made me feel dismissed and like my concerns weren't being taken seriously. After confirming with my partner that we had indeed chosen the plastic frames, I had to return again to correct their mistake. Despite the error being on their end, I waited two hours for assistance. I was initially told I wouldn't have to pay anything additional to fix the issue, but days later I received a call saying I owed over $150 for new lenses. In total, I ended up paying around $600 for glasses--even with insurance--due to repeated errors on their part. To make matters worse, when I went in to pick up my corrected glasses, I asked for my contact lens prescription. I was told--nearly three months after my initial visit--that it had never been finalized and they had forgotten to follow up with me. After four visits, I finally have the glasses I wanted, but the entire process was frustrating, disorganized, and unnecessarily expensive. I've had significantly better experiences at smaller offices with fewer staff. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

Unless you enjoy poor service, avoid this place at all costs.
