This place is just a little outside the hub of Greenville and we didn't know what to expect when we pulled into the busy parking lot. There were many trucks and ATV's in the lot. They're is a deck with tables and lots of folks standing on it with cocktails in their hands. When we went inside we were immediately sat at a booth. As we walked past patrons who were eating, the food looked delicious and generously portioned. Our server took a minute to come over to us, giving us a chance to look at the menus. We decided on a Reuben $20 and upgraded to the onion rings rather than fried that cone with it. That was an upcharge of $4. The Etienne came on marble rye and was grilled to perfection. I think the sandwich could have used a bit more corned beef and dressing, but it was delicious. I gobbled it up! The onion rings were top notch, crunchy batter and thick cut onion. They were fried too the perfect golden brown and tasted so good. We also ordered the Mac and cheese which came with a side salad that was fresh and a breadstick that was warm, but didn't seem scratch made. The mac and chess was creamy with s but if crunchy topping, lots of cheesy goodness and my personal favorite, cavatappi pasta. Highly recommend this spot. This is a cute place with amazing views of Moosehead Lake. It can easily get crowded but we came here a few times in early May and was relatively quiet. They have a full bar and decent food options. The blueberry pancakes looked amazing! Especially loved the lake view and service was always good too. read more

We were here for both breakfast and lunch, on two separate days. Breakfast was our first time here and it was amazing. The beautiful view cannot be understated. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. We went back the next day for lunch and sat outside on the deck. If you time it right (in the summer), The Kahtahdin boat will pass right by and sound its horn, and the restaurant staff answers it back with bells. We even got to see some sea planes land and take off. So much fun! The drinks were good and the prices were reasonable. The next time we visit Greenville, this will be our go-to spot! read more

We have been here before many times. Last night, after another restaurant in town did not honor their reservations- we called to see if they were busy -they were not - but would not take a large group at 7:30. We were told "good luck with that." I have no problem being told that it's too late to take a group that big, etc., but not rudeness. I would imagine as a business owner an extra thousand dollars at the end of the night would be worth it, but I guess it's not. read more

This was the only place in town for full breakfast. The staff are all very nice and were working hard, but even so, 2.5 hours is too long. I think our waitress had a bunch of tables inside and only ours on the deck. The hostess finally brought coffee, an hour and a half in we finally ordered, and we would still be waiting to pay if I had not flagged down the hostess. The omlette was very good, and my husband enjoyed his hash and eggs. We also ate dinner there last night, had better service and a good meal of Chicken Parm, moist chicken and tasty sauce, and the Burrito Special, which my husband said was excellent. We went to Kelly's after taking a moose tour. There were 6 of us, and we all agreed, breakfast was excellent. Omlets, eggs benedict and skillets all very good. And the view from the deck is great! The only thing that wasn't stellar was the grumpy server. I won't take a star away for that, but man, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed! She provided decent service, but we were all literally waiting to get yelled at. Get past the grump, and I would highly recommend Kelly's Landing! read more

My husband and I are from MA but come up here often when we visit my parents who live in Abbot. It is a nice drive up to Greenville. Kelly's has a great outdoor space to sit and enjoy views of Moosehead Lake and all of the activities going on in the water at the Junction. We are happy that Kelly's offers gluten free buns for sandwiches and it also has other gluten free options as my husband is gluten free. On our recent trip, my husband enjoyed the Mahi Mahi Tacos and I had the Chicken Fingers with Onion Strings and Cole Slaw. He loved his tacos and my meal was terrific. Crispy chicken, thin onion strings and Cole slaw just the way I like it...not vinegary! Our waitress was wonderful, the service was quick, and the food came out perfect! Received my baked haddock plate, the haddock portion was maybe 5 inches by 5 inches at the most. Almost told the waitress to take it back I'm not paying 25.00 for that. My significant other told me to eat it. So I did reluctantly. We stopped in for dinner on New Year's eve and had a very respectable meal. The waitstaff was friendly & helpful. We had seafood chowder, side salad, and seafood casserole. The. chowder was full of fish, scallops, shrimp, and maybe some lobster bits. It was hardy and good. The seafood casserole was also good with lots of mixed seafood in a cream sauce with crumbs. Breakfast at Moosehead Lake doesn't offer a lot of choices but thankfully Kelly's Landing is good. Large place right on water, very rustic. Breakfast was good, served fairly quickly given the time of day and amount of people on a Sunday morning. Staff were veterans who knew how to handle crowd. read more

We were so excited to come have breakfast here as my husband grew up coming here. First it took 45 mins to get served coffee and the restaurant only had one other table in the whole place. My husband ordered sunny side up eggs and the egg white was still clear jelly. The bacon was hard and cold so we gave it to our dogs. My Belgian waffle had strawberries and a white substance that resembled whipped cream but was not sweet, now whipped cream. We will never come back here again. We have been waiting now for our waitress to appear with our check and it's been almost a half hr waiting for just the check. Great spot. The only place in town that offers breakfast. And it was good too. We had dinner here a couple of times and the food and service is great. Short staffed like everyone else but they make it happen. Outside waterfront seating is the best as you watch seaplanes come and go. Definitely recommend this place for any meal. read more

Beautiful location on Moosehead Lake, right on the water. Outdoor dining was spacious. I had the fried haddock sandwich with onion rings. The haddock was a generous portion twice the size of the bun. Parking is easy and we only had to wait for fifteen minutes in a Saturday afternoon during the July 4th weekend. read more

One star represents the food. Service and location would get 5 stars. If you are an older person (as the 40 or so patrons coming off the tour bus seem to be) and on a bland, tasteless diet...THIS place is for YOU. Food here is more bland than nursing home food. Calamari, although cooked well (not rubbery), tasted like nothing. Seems anything we had that was fried was flavorless. Perhaps the breading/coating needs some spice in its life. My wife and I dined at Kelly's last night. We have been going there for many years and have always been happy with our meals. First the good; great ambiance , waitstaff is top notch, restaurant is clean and our sides were good. The not so good; we were unable to sit outside on a beautiful evening because the deck was wet. It rains frequently in Greenville so you would think that the restaurant would treat their deck so they could serve diners outside after it has rained. Who wants to sit inside on a beautiful July evening? Now the meal. My wife and I both ordered the crab stuffed haddock. My meal was very small; the haddock was smaller than a deck of cards and it was over cooked. The stuffing was also on the very small side; about 2 Tbs of stuffing. My wife's portion was a bit larger but not much. This entree was priced at $34, which I believe is extraordinarily overpriced. Our sides were good but the rice portion was also very small. This is the first time in over 20 years I have been dissatisfied with a meal here. If it wasn't for the waitstaff and ambiance I would rate our meals 2 stars. read more

So it was my birthday and the resort we were staying at raves about how great the fish and chips are and it's right on the water etc go my wife. So she picked the spot. The views were amazing, saw some sea planes take off, hummingbirds while we waited for our food. We ordered two fish and chips (haddock with fries and one with an upgrade to sweet potato fries). We also ordered a shrimp and fries, and a scallops with fries and coleslaw (market price $34). Sad to say the food did not live up to expectations. Fish was a very thin filet and had a fishy taste, we eat fish and chips quite a bit and often love it -- this was not it. The fries were super crispy as if they were refried multiple times and I called it out to the waitress who brought out another batch, also did not taste fresh, felt drenched in oil and over crispy at the same time. The shrimps were decent, had the tails removed which was nice, but still had the shell in some of the bites! Never a good feeling when that happens. The sweet potato fries were pretty good and fresh! The side of mashed potatoes was okay, not horrible, not great. The coleslaw was fresh. And finally, the scallops were decent although I must say for $34 six pieces of scallops is a little disappointing over stale fries. I told the waitress the fries were still not fresh and she basically told me that's just how the restaurant makes them and we can pay to upgrade to sweet potatoes fries if we wanted. Finally, oh yes it was my birthday so my wonderful wife asked for a piece of tiramisu to be brought out. It was brought out and the candle lit at the table, the piece did not look appetizing from any angle and appeared questionable at best. We were surprised that despite the looks it was still decent tasting. So to summarize, amazing views... but service and food which cost $125 today left a lot to be desired. Definitely not worth the price! Most places at least offer a Nice complementary desert for someone celebrating a birthday or an anniversary.... Not this place - $7 for not even a decent piece of desert! I hate to give bad reviews -- but if you deserve it you deserve it! read more
